La Mensa Grill & Bar is just a 5-minute walk from my office, which is a good spot for dinner after a long day at work. Kai Tak mtr station is next to the restaurant that makes La Mensa Grill & Bar more convenient to me. La Mensa is decorated in modern style. I feel comfortable sitting there with no cramped feeling. The rustic wood wall appeals to me.😍 We order two dishes which are prime ribeye steak and chicken mushroom risotto respectively. - Prime Ribeye Steak 🥩 The steak is beautiful with the crosshatch grill mark. There is a nice caramelised crust on the outside of the steak. The juiciness came from the steak is incredible. It just melt in your month. You can’t beat that.😋😋 - chicken mushroom risotto The risotto grain is al dente with creamy texture. The ingredient is simple but the taste is phenomenal. I am impressed with prime ribeye steak. Look forward to trying other meat next time!

I love exploring foods from all over the world. Today is the first time that I tried Lebanese food and I AM LOVIN’ IT! I promise you that you can try really nice cocktails and shisha here. My girlfriend orders the Prussian blue. It’s a lively cocktail with refreshing fruitiness. It tastes sweeter in which my girlfriend loves it. Don’t forget that the base of the cocktail is gin. I advise you not to drink too quick. Otherwise, you will feel intoxicated at the end of the dinner just like my girlfirend did. Foods in Shahrazad are amazing as well. Lamb shank goes well with the perfectly creamy meshed potatoes. The meat just slides off the bone at the touch of the knife. Despite a low degree of gaminess, the meat is super tender and juicy. This is golden rule that you must enjoy lamb dish with a red wine. Monte Zovo is highly recommended for food pairing with lamb. Another dish we order is Mix Hot Mezze Platter. It is a combination of four appetizers, which are Falafel, Kibbeh, Cheese Sambusek and Potato Harra. Potato Harra is kind of oily at the first bite, but then you cant stop eating because of its crispness and spicy favour. Falafel is deep-fried to become crispy. They suggest us to eat along with a pita bread. Cheese Sambusek looks like dumpling but with crunchiness stuffed with cheese and herbs. The last appetizer is Kibbeh, which is quite classic in Labanon. It is stuffed with meat and fried into a ball shape. The luxurious decor of the restaurant makes me feel like I am in the palace. I look forward to smoking shisha in Shahrazad Lebanese Dining Lounge & Bar next time.
