To change your picture, click ‘Edit Profile’ , choose ‘Personal Avatar’ on the left, then you can choose to either use your Facebook profile picture or upload your own picture. Then press confirm.
Your display picture will appear on your MyOpenRice Page.

You can always save and bookmark your favourite restaurants for you reference. Simply click ‘Add to Favourite(s)’ on a restaurant listing page (you will need to log in first).
To check the list of your favourite restaurant, simply log in then click ‘Favourite Restaurant(s)’ on top right hand corner and you will see the 20 most recent restaurants you added to the list.
Alternatively, go to ‘MyOpenRice’ and click ‘Favourite Restaurant(s) on the left (n), there you will see a more detailed list. For a clearer view and easier management, you may add restaurants to different groups too!

What should I pay attention to when making reservation?
To protect members’ benefits, each member is limited to make 3 reservations on the same reservation day. Among these 3 reservations, each member can only make 2 reservations at the same restaurant at different time periods (e.g. either lunch/ dinner) . If you cannot attend the booking on time, please logon to My Account and choose Current Reservations for amendment or cancellation. Otherwise, your attendance status will be marked as no-show. Your account will be suspended if you have more than 3 no-show records and all of your dining points will be removed as well.

If I have not received any SMS verification codes, what do I do?
Normally, you will receive the verification code via SMS within 20 minutes when verifying your phone number. If not, please check if you have input a correct mobile number, or click here to contact us. Please note that an account can only receive a maximum of 5 SMS verification codes within 30 days.

How do I amend or cancel a confirmed reservation?
You can logon to My Account and check your upcoming reservations by selecting 'Current Reservations'. There are two buttons, namely “Amend” and “Cancel” next to each reservation record. Once the amendment or cancellation is submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to you. You have to make the amendment or cancellation at least 30 minutes prior to your reservation. Otherwise, please call the restaurant directly.

If I have special requests, how do I notify the restaurant?
If you have any special requests when making reservation, you can state your preference in the “Special Requests” section on the reservation form. Restaurants will try their best to cater to your request. However, not every request can be fulfilled. Your understanding will be greatly appreciated.

What is Dining Points Program?
Dining Points Program allows members to earn dining points for gift redemption by fulfilling reservation on time. Accumulated points can be redeemed for an array of gifts and vouchers.
The dining points may vary between each restaurant. Members can check the number of dining points on the reservation page. You may redeem gifts and vouchers that are meticulously chosen by us with your accumulated points. You are assured to find something you love. We will also partner with restaurants to provide more fabulous promotional offers from time to time so that you can gain Dining Points faster.

Can I earn any points from phone reservation?
Sorry, dining points will only be rewarded to fulfilled reservations that are made online.

Where can I check my current Dining Points balance?
You can login to My Account and select “Dining Points Management” where you can check the relevant information such as current points balance, redemption history and the validity of your Dining Points.

Will the Dining Points expire?
The validity of dining points is based on the date of member registration. For details, please refer to Earn Points.

How do I redeem my Dining Points for vouchers and gifts?
You could login to the 'Dining Points' section of My Account to check the gift catalogue and submit redemption request. For details, please refer to Earn Points.

When will I receive the gift after I have submitted the redemption request?
No amendment or cancellation is allowed once you have submitted your redemption request. Normally, vouchers will be delivered within 2 to 4 weeks by post or email. If you have not received any notification after 4 weeks, please click Contact Us for enquiry. You can check the gift redemption details by selecting Redemption History in My Account.

How to define as no-show?
If you are unable to fulfill reservation made online, please make cancellation online or call the restaurant in advance. Otherwise, the restaurant will mark your attendance status as 'no-show'. Dining Points will not be awarded for cancelled bookings. Your account will be suspended if you have more than 3 no-show records and all of your dining points will be removed as well.

What should I do if I have been assigned as no-show status in error?
After the restaurant confirms your attendance status as “no-show”, you will receive a notification email. If the restaurant has misinformed your attendance status, please click here to send us a request to review attendance record within 14 days. You may report the actual situation and upload a receipt (if any) through the online request form in order to help us to investigate. We will follow up with the restaurant and reply to you within 7 days.
