之前嚟過幾次晚飯,發現質素唔及之前,已經成年無嚟,今日約咗朋友食午飯,諗住食lunch set應該穩陣啲,叫咗個$148嘅銀鱈魚餐,前菜有蒸旦,沙律同湯,唔錯嘅,點知一上個前菜我即刻呆咗,都未嚟得切反應,我個friend就細細聲問個waiter:「咦...舊魚會唔會細咗D呢...」,而waiter亦好肯定咁答:「我哋呢度D魚係咁嘅size,同埋係分兩舊上嘅。」喺呢一刻我除咗自責自己唔應該俾多次機會呢間嘢之餘我都唔知講咩嘢好嘞⋯⋯ continue reading

From the outside, I was enticed by the décor of this quaint, seemingly authentic Japanese restaurant. I had high expectations after seeing good reviews on open rice, but unfortunately was very disappointed. Five of us went for dinner on a Friday night. The ambience was satisfactory but food quality, freshness, service and taste were all well below expectation. Saying it was mediocre would be a compliment. And when the final bill came, it was shocking. The fish was too salty, we barely touched it - but the staff didn't seem too concerned by our comments. They didn't try to rectify the problem nor did they offer any apologies. Overall this dining experience was not one I would care to repeat nor recommend to my friends. continue reading

這餐飯是要慶祝好朋友的生日,挑選了位於大坑的這間日式料理店,位置有點隱蔽,餐廳環境幽靜,感覺舒適。一行六人都點了每位$298的「入門版」會席料理,已包含八道菜,頗為實惠!第一道是沙律,沒有特別:前菜則太咸:然後,刺身/壽司/魚生丼可三選一,我選了壽司,魚生片新鮮,還有一件拖羅壽司,對我來說是小驚喜(雖然不是很高質素的拖羅啦~)。下一道是茶碗蒸,蛋蒸得滑溜,但只有小量配料,所以味道不特別香甜。燒物我選了銀雪魚(另外有牛和黑豚㨂),烤得不錯,魚肉很滑,又入味,讚!接著是天婦羅(圖中是三人份量),有大蝦和雜菜,大蝦炸得鬆脆,肉質仍彈牙,雖然不夠鮮甜,但這個價錢我是絕對收貨。然後是牛肉烏冬,份量不多,但由於已差不多飽,所以這樣的份量反而合適,味道正正常常。最後的甜品是提子果凍,看似有心思,但是提子有大粒核,每食一口果凍還要吐核,若果是日本的料理亭,不可能出現這樣不細心的甜品。整體來說,餐廳的套餐性價比高,用料並不馬虎,大家不妨將它作為日式會席料理的入門。 continue reading

大坑一直是我非常喜愛的地區,旺中帶靜,很方便駕車來或者是坐地鐵來也一樣便利。這區有很多好吃的餐廳,謝謝友人的推薦,晚上去了一家非常棒的日本料理店吃晚餐。這家日料叫0.5°日式料理,坐落在大坑頗隱蔽的內街角落,經過也不太留意得到因為窗戶都用竹簾遮著所以看不到裏面。我們6點半左右到,餐廳裏面很少客人。餐廳蠻大,坐得很舒服。裝潢日式,簡潔舒適。餐牌第一版就是Omakase/料理長發辦料理,而且價錢非常公道,我們這次沒點下次再試試看!我點的是0.5會席料理。會席料理是日本的宴請用料理,有自身的形式和種類。第一道菜是沙律。和外面的餐廳基本一樣。第二道菜我選的是魚生丼。這不是主菜,所以分量適中,但我吃完已經覺得有飽腹感。再要說的是魚生吃起來好像有用醬油腌制過,很入味,但又不會把魚生本來的鮮味覆蓋掉,好像飯上面有一點蒲汁的感覺(我不知道是不是),完全不用點醬油,直接沾點芥末吃就已經非常非常好吃!我還單點了一個北海道海膽壽司。去年聖誕節去北海道吃的海膽到現在我還念念不忘,因為真的非常鮮甜而且一點腥味都沒有。這家餐廳的海膽也非常清甜,有我在日本吃的感覺哈哈。蒸蛋裏面放了香菇和一小塊雞肉,蛋非常香滑,贊!主食我點的是烤魚。銀雪魚非常滑,很入味,烤得剛剛好非常贊!這是大蝦和雜菜天婦羅。咬下去口感酥脆但是不會覺得油膩!接下來的是牛肉野菜烏冬。分量不多,牛肉呈粉紅色,吃到口裏有種入口即溶的感覺,烏冬是細條形的,很好吃。最後甜點是西柚啫喱.我本身很不喜歡吃啫喱,所以就算這家店做得多好吃我也會覺得不好吃,所以這是個人口味問題哈哈。客觀來講,這塊啫喱有西柚和姜的味道,蠻彈牙,就這樣。這家店用料新鮮,價錢平民,雖然隱蔽但是非常值得一試哦!♥ continue reading

之前訂過好幾次都無位, 今次終於有幾會試喇!平時好少有幾會行附近, 原來依個社區有好多食市. 入到去餐廳得我同老闆, 同埋另外一檯客人. 我諗住係我地早啫. 平時咁難book, 無理由得咁少人.唔理得咁多. 點菜先. 食set既好處就係每樣都有少少. 而omakase就可以由廚師話你知今日有咩最新鮮同餐廳有咩signature.我同老闆都好鐘意食omakase. 因為大部份時間都會由廚師直接同我地溝通. 而每次都會食到一D喜出望外既野.今次我地叫左一個會席餐同一個刺身omakase. waiter哥哥都好醒目咁問我地係咪share. 以下睇落去好似有好多款野食, 最主要係因為我地兩個完全唔同既set.凍番茄, 螢光魷魚, 墨魚吸盤 - 墨魚吸盤用左柚子汁, 好清新雞魚刺身 - 其實佢有個靚D既名"依左目", 味道有D似Snapper鹿兒島池魚 - 唔點豉油就平平無其, 一點個薑汁豉油, 鮮味出晒黎金目鯛, 拖羅, 赤睦 - 金目鯛 - 彈牙, 拖羅 - juicy 到忍唔住"嘩"左聲, 赤睦 - 油脂重東風螺 - 小吃, 有D普通日本蠔 - 好肥, 好脆, 不過我都係鐘意用檸檬食蠔毛蟹 - 超新鮮, 夾紫菜同飯, 一流配搭鮮帶子壽司 -原來鮮帶子同急凍帶子係有好大分別, 鮮帶子係脆口, 鮮味. 唔同急凍帶子一味得個大字菇炒帶子 - 菇既香味令到帶子變左配角蒜片牛柳 - 牛柳超"林", 好juicy, 唔會over cook京燒銀雪魚 -正正常常, 不過都好味Tempura- 唔好睇佢只係普通天婦羅, 其中有兩舊係露荀海膽天婦羅. 不過我覺得浪費左D海膽總結: 材料新鮮, 性價比高. 唔計酒水咁食法都係$1100, 去邊樹搵. continue reading
