There was quite a bit of anticipation cos the place had renovated for seemingly decades.
Well, it's finally opened, and at the time of writing, it was 0:7 on Openrice.
I didn't take the warning seriously. I dismissed it as just that the establishment was just not yet on track to fully function. Well, let's see what happened.

Got there, saw the crowd, a bit contradicting the poor reviews on Openrice.
Free jukebox at the corner. It was Elvis playing. Wow.

I purchased the simple fatburger for $40. Nothing fancy, just the basic one.

It took them 12 minutes to cook me a burger!!!!


And during the time, the restaurant was crowded - but the people were not eating, everyone's just waiting.
It was hot inside because it was so crowded and the open kitchen effect, despite the temperature was around 20 degrees outside.
They give you a tag but they don't call out the number when it's ready. It will be distributed to you by a staff member. Since it was so crowded, he got a difficult time going around with trays and seeing the tags on different tables. He was very hard working, but this number tag thing just wouldn't work with the crowd inside.
OK, after 12 minutes i got the burger, and had to evacuate to Queen's Road to eat it cos there is just no room to stand inside.
The burger is tiny!!!!

About the same size as a McDonald's hamburger.
Well, there is a slice of tomato and some lettuce in it, at least.
Took a bite, the bun's stone cold, but the patty's warm, contrary to some other Openrice reviews.
The patty's only 1cm thick, nothin' special to make it worth 40 bucks.

I really can't taste the difference between this and a McDonald's hamburger. I don't think a double fatburger will be any different than a double quarterpounder, in that sense.
Hence, I should have listened to other reviewers!!!


I once promised my 豬豬女友 that we'll try this place out after it's opened, looks like this possibility is becoming extremely remote!
