Thank you very much for Openrice's invitation to this modern restaurant for food tasting! When we arrived I was amazed with the atmosphere, with the kind of art deco decoration just that I think it's too bright, light should be dimmer to give a more cozy feeling. Was also wondering the menu (attached)...there were 11 courses (including dessert and drink), how can we finish that much food?? But we all think probably only very small portion per dish....Once we seat down we ordered drinks, I ordered

Once we seat down we ordered drinks, I ordered a Long Island Coke, which has couple different liquor and coke, sound very strong...but actually it's not much different than a regular coke...even I exchanged once for a little strong one....maybe because I used to drink sake??
Appetizer - crab meat with sour vegi bottom, ok, goose liver with break pretty good - just found out the size is quite vary, mine was like only little bigger than a $5 dollar coin but some are size like 3 times as mine....strange...; Fried wonton with salad apple, this is not good...the fried wonton shell was not crispy enough and was a bit messy to use knife and fork...
Uni with crab leg roll in rice paper - this dish is no good...by using artificial crab leg and the uni too little (less than a size of 10cents...can't taste anything like uni at all
Soup - pretty good but suggest to add cream and texture to the soup base, will taste richer, but taste pretty good
Abalone - taste very good, very soft and garlic taste was good
Blue mussel and Tune - taste only so-so, nothing really special, but suggest tuna to have thicker cut
Miso Cod Fish - very smooth and tasty with tofu, again the sizes are quite vary...mine again very small and others are much bigger....
Boston Lobster Risotto - Lobster taste good but the rice is way too hard, well the chef said it's the original taste which is only 30% cooked...personally I like a bit softer, but overall the taste was good...just wondering how much this dish cost
Dessert - I didn't tried it 'coz was already too full and time is close to 12am This dinner took 4.5 hours!!!!
But overall was a good experience and got to know someone love to eat, thanks again for openrice's invitation!!!
