用餐日期...已忘了...那天中午, 由九龍灣飄到中環, 去吃lunch也 ~記得上次來這裡, 吃過煎得脆香的魚皮 ~今次, 令我留下印象的, 是出色的豆湯!

It was so nice ambience 's restaurant. We had the " Country pate" and " Lamb Ravioli" to start. The lamb ravioli was pretty good. And the country pates' prensentation was so nice too. The waiter made a nice recommendation for me to order " Roasted Chicken" which was cooked to a perfect tenderness . And my friend picked a " Crispy Pork", it was so juicy!!!! Finally, we were oredered the " Chocolate and Banana Cake" for finished to oreder dinner. How can we define this restaurant? - it was Great Food, Reasonable Price, Nice Restaurant and Staffs were Smart and Friendly. That's the one of BEST restaurant in Central!!!!!!:

Went Zest last night together with a friend of mine, the dinner was so good and people there were so nice; it surely highlighted my week despite it was only a MONDAY dinner~Ordered Ricotta soufflé and Confit duck salad as starters. The soufflé was so nicely made that I could not only taste the skill, but also the heart of the chef!!! Sounds crazy, but I mean it! The waitress made a nice recommendation for me to order the Roasted cod fish while my friend picked the Roasted chicken. I love the fish very much cos it’s very juicy and it didn’t carry any offensive smell at all. My friend (who tends to be picky) appreciated the tenderness of the roasted chicken too! After all it’s a birthday celebration dinner for my friend and I am glad that this picky guy say YES finally~Both of us did not finish the main course despite the deliciousness. This was because we were so greedy in ordering the Lemon Parfait dessert which made a perfect end to our dinner.Will definitely recommend this restaurant which is of reasonable price, nice ambience and friendly staff who make good dish recommendation!!

周日到中環吃brunch, 在or做了點資料搜集, 被食友寫的 Platter(有fresh basked muffin、warm fruit compote with cinnamon mascarpone 同muesli with yoghurt) 同杯yoghurt 的相吸引.決定來這裏樓上好像被包場開生日會, 不打緊, 反正樓下更開揚, 感覺更佳.周日的brunch 或午餐選擇不多, 各6項左右. 不過貴精不貴多, 餐版上找不到platter 或yoghurt (或許是看漏眼了), 選了egg benedict, 及crab cake 附送的麵包雖然不熱, 但不失鬆脆, 配上紅醋及橄欖油, 令人吃得起勁egg benedit (hk$65) 的蛋生熟洽到好處, 麵包鬆脆, 火腿雖普通, 但配搭得到好處, 好!crab cake (hk$95) 是焗的, 蟹肉鮮味, 配上淡味的mayonasie,不錯, 伴碟的有cesar salad 及poach egg, 但不夠喉, 於是追加一個 rocket, pear & prama chesse 的side salad (hk$25), 蔬菜是新鮮貨, 啤梨香脆另加凍檸茶(hk$25)及cappuccino (hk$35) 連加一埋單hk$270價錢合理, 侍應有禮, 令人吃得開懷的一個brunch.

同朋友傾傾計,即興的lunch,地方好一點又唔須訂位的,這裡從來都是個好選擇。環境談不上闊落,勝在望到街景,日光下吃個午餐倒也稱心,3courses 的午餐,分別要了肉凍沙律、醋漬三文魚沙律,主菜是煎三文魚及慢煮羊肩。Terrine要另加$30,不介意多付一點錢吃自家製的,以巴馬火腿包著粗切火腿絲,落刀時手感極為「實淨」,火腿肉滿滿的,沒下多餘香草,特別處是沒以高湯將火腿黏合,吃起來很實在,巴馬火腿軟熟微鹹,幾特別家常風味小品。朋友的煎三文魚煎得緊熟,魚皮切了兩刀,魚皮煎後不致變成U形,賣相方面也不錯,糖心的肉質極討好,當然找出速配的香料去走三文富個性的「泥腥」味,就更精彩,自己仍鍾情於Olive那味下了魔法的糖心三文。自己的慢煮羊肩,無骨、肉連脂肪部份,很難想到羊肩,似是吃浸煮而成羊腿,肉質軟腍不散,口感不錯,然而經這麼一浸,油甘亦散去了,加上下了不少香草調味,連應有的羶味亦盡去,理解到此品不易處理,之後與兩位行家談起,不信是午市「炒檔」的成品,看來這邊的大廚也是位酷愛烹飪之人。甜品是香焦crepe,蛋皮軟熟,也有澎湃的酒香,不是自己那杯茶,菜式不花巧,卻有著自己風格,較之大集團,更喜歡這裡Soho式小店。
