This place offers a lunch set menu that varies each day of the week. For the lunch set you get to choose between vegetable soup or cream soup, you also get a choice of either tea or coffee. The place is small, so if you want to try, get there before 1pm otherwise you are unlikely to get a seat.The vegetable soup is a runny soup that is more like a tomato soup. It has a strong tomato taste which overpowers the taste of the vegetables, however the chunky pieces of vegetables in the soup serves as a reminder of what the soup is suppose to be. The sweetcorn cream soup is thick and has a very creamy and milky taste. There are only a few bits of sweetcorn in the soup, and you cannot really taste much else besides the diary produce. In the soup stakes both are just a plain average.The pork chop and vegetable lasagne, is pretty much a staple dish that is offered most days of the week. Here they offer good sized portions. The vegetable lasagne has a good balance of tomato and cheese flavour, the vegetables in the lasagne are sized well and gives that added texture to the lasagne. The gravy has the right amount of flavour, it goes well with the pork chop and lasagne. A good dish to choose, but gets boring after awhile.As for tea and coffee...... the tea is the better option, the coffee will definitely not meet the standards of those coffee lovers out there. This place is consistent, but even with its rotating menu, you cannot help but get the feeling that this place is lacking in flair. This place has found a good base of regular customers, but for those who get bored easily, they will reduce their visiting frequency seeing as the same menu is repeated every week. Maybe it is time for them to introduce a special dish of the day that is a regular changer and they can challenge themselves further and make something that is outstanding.Consistent in its efforts, there is only a low risk of having any nasty tasting surprises, so if you want to play it safe this might be the place for you.

My family used to like this restaurant. However, we noted it has changed owner. We visited for the 1st time after the change, for lunch. It was fake 'Italian' food: The risotto was only chinese rice with lotsof sauce. Very stuffing and too soft. BAD The "steak" was a very thin and dried piece of meat. The cream soup was a tastless white mixture. (And no bread comes with it.) Such quality should come from a 茶餐廳, not an ordinary one, but a bad one. Yet, they charge $56 for the risotto set and $60+ for the steak set. I'd rather have a decent fast-food restaurant.

在我工作地方的附近, 就有一間名不經傳的小義大利菜餐廳 - 心意屋, 這小餐廳初初開業時我就光顧過, 一試下就愛上他的意國風情薄餅, 當中的巴馬火腿的鹹香, 和薄於豬肉紙般的薄餅皮, 都是我喜歡的原因. 久沒光顧, 是夜好友來到我公司接我放工, 一起又來了這裡.日間的他擠得迫迫, 晚上就比較清靜.今夜就點了下圖的...凱撒沙拉 - 合格的菜式薄餅 - 本來如白雪的蟹肉經烤焗後, 變得如吞拿魚肉般, 不過配上芝士及忌廉汁, 還是很好吃.帶子雜菜扁意粉配欖油 - 帶子很Q, 扁意粉很彈牙, 如果欖油再多一點會更好芒果吉士拿破崙 - 平常比較少點甜品, 今夜可能心情比較好, 便點了此甜品. 芒果肉很好吃, 拿破崙餅非平常吃到那款餅碎碎的口感, 可能因為加入了砂糖再焗過的餅, 有如甜甜的麥芽酥餅般好吃. 還好沒有點錯... 總覺得在吃過一餐豐盛的晚宴後, 要是能吃到一口好吃的甜品, 會有很幸福的感覺. 不知愛吃甜品的大家, 又有沒有這種感覺呢?不過是夜來時, 發現本來是橙色的外牆, 被掃上了綠色, 而店名PIZZA & PASTA HOUSE也沒有了, 不知道為什麼突然把店名拆下了呢?

This is what you get when the cooks put their hearts into what they are cooking - quality good tasting food!I personally frequent this place because I live close-by, and I can tell right off the bat that not all dishes are made (cooked) equal. Some will taste better than the others.I like:Caesar saladPrawn & mango saladMushroom soup (and some other soups that I have forgotten)Steak (lunch sets available on certain days of the week)Chicken steakAngel hair pastaParma ham pizza (traditional thin crust only)Souffle (as well as certain other desserts)Iced milk tea (80% comparable to On Lee Fishball's milk tea)They change the menu around a bit from time to time (especially the lunch sets). If you are unsure of what to have, I say it is best to try out one of their lunch sets first ($35 - $55) (Available from 12nn to last order at 14:30). From there, you can gauge how well you like their cooking, eh?Occasionally, they will get your order wrong by giving you pasta instead of rice, but they will change it back for you and apologize for the inconvenience. One thing they seem to always welcome (when they are not too busy serving customers) is constructive feedback. And they reflect on them too!
