今日瞓完晏覺有少少肚餓,於是換衫行落去睇吓有乜嘢依下肚仔先,行出去喺屋企樓下,見間Brass Spoon日日都排隊,今日竟然冇乜人排隊,就排下隊先,好快就到我,可以入到去,叫咗一碗生牛肉湯河先。好快生牛肉湯河已經送到我面前,即刻飲啖牛肉湯先,入口鮮甜無比,之後再食片牛肉,同之前一樣係好淋,係入口即溶嗰種,而河粉好滑,索埋牛肉湯,簡直係人生一大享受😋而配菜同牛肉份量都唔少,食量唔大嘅你,一定夠飽。如果見唔到人排隊,唔使等咁耐我一定會再嚟食。 繼續閱讀

Situated in the bustling area of Wan Chai, Brass Spoon comes with the prestigious accolade of being a Michelin-recognized restaurant. Intrigued by its reputation, I ventured to see if the culinary experience would live up to the hype. Here’s my take on the offerings, specifically focusing on their pho and another dish, the cool vermicelli with chicken The Pho ExperiencePho, often seen as the heart of Vietnamese cuisine, should embody a harmonious balance of rich broth, tender meat, and fresh herbs. Unfortunately, Brass Spoon's rendition fell short of expectations. While the presentation was commendable, the broth lacked the depth and complexity one anticipates from a Michelin-rated establishment. It was disappointingly bland, missing the robust, aromatic quality that makes pho a beloved comfort food.The beef slices, though tender, didn’t compensate for the broth’s shortcomings. The overall dish felt underwhelming, particularly given the restaurant’s esteemed reputation and the price tag attached.Cool vermicelli with chickenIn contrast, cool vermicelli with chicken was a pleasant surprise. This dish featured perfectly cooked noodles with tender, flavorful chicken, and a medley of fresh vegetables. The seasoning was spot on, providing a delightful blend of savory and tangy notes that made each bite enjoyable. The textures were well-balanced, and the dish was both satisfying and refreshing.Overall ImpressionsWhile Brass Spoon has its merits, the dining experience didn’t quite justify the high prices. The pho, a central element of Vietnamese cuisine, was particularly disappointing, failing to deliver the expected depth of flavor. On the other hand, the chicken noodle salad was quite good, showcasing the potential for quality and taste that the restaurant can achieve.Despite its Michelin recognition, Brass Spoon feels overpriced for the quality of food offered. It’s a decent restaurant with some noteworthy dishes, but it doesn’t live up to the lofty expectations set by its accolades and price point.
