悶蛋每次嚟都係點返蟹肉炒飯睇同埋泰式和牛炒河~但今次嚟覺得個好似無以前咁精彩~Stir fried spicy Wagyu beef & flat noodles 和牛炒河口感依然滑溜,睇落差唔多但食落整體無咁惹味,要依靠個泰式辣醬先可以填補個空虛感好在個蟹肉炒飯 Fried rice of crabmeat & spring onions 依然係粒粒分明,蟹肉豐富嘅~Grilled chicken satay 沙嗲雞串燒 好食,雞肉夠滑,個沙嗲醬好香花生味十足!配合青瓜唔會好膩chopped duck & Thai herb salad crispy pork rinds and spicy lime dressing 係一個好食嘅生菜包,菜夠新鮮加埋脆炸豬皮好加分,調味清新夠曬開胃。不過講真個調味已經搶 fo 其實唔係好食得出係鴨肉Wagyu beef wok fried with chili, garlic & holy basil topped with a fried egg 覺得略嫌偏鹹,掩蓋咗和牛嘅味道,可能要叫個白飯先夾得到young coconut ice creamtoasted peanuts, sweet corn and young coconut meat 呢度嘅椰青雪糕繼續都係我嘅最愛,畫龍點睛嘅花生碎同埋椰青肉,口感夠豐富甜美又清新~下次唔好咁悶要試下新野,仲有個泰北咖喱金麵,蟹肉奄列同埋斑斕椰子湯圓等緊我 ! 繼續閱讀

聽講呢間泰國野好好食, 所以突登過來港島試一試。未到晚上7 點來到已經一堆人係度等緊。去到門口會叫你留電話,之後話你知大概等幾耐(我地今次要等30~40mins) , 有位會再打俾你。炒泰國通菜幾香口+有鑊氣,味道偏辣泰式虎蝦炒金邊粉幾香幾惹味又唔會太油,金邊粉唔會炒到爛,而且有四隻大蝦,不過就CP 值唔算高芒果百香果沙冰呢個係我覺得最好飲既item, 成個沙冰充滿住真實既芒果味,好足料,加左百香果令口感豐富左同埋佢既酸甜可以中和一下芒果既甜👍🏻整體來講野食算唔錯, 不過如果要排隊等成個鐘就唔太值, 而且CP 值唔算高,D 侍應都係會趕住收野想你快D 埋單咁。相信有可多類似既質素既泰國野係平D 又唔洗得咁耐。 繼續閱讀

I finished work early today and decided to try something new . I arrived 6:10pm which was great as there’s still table available. No need to line up. When I asked the receptionist for table. She asked for my phone number. As I’m walk-in customer, there is no reason to collect my number so I refused . She then asked again that it is company policy to collect this information. That’s unacceptable. No op-out . No practical reason to collect this info given I’m walk in. So I decided to walk away . I’m going to the personal privacy commissioner . It is unacceptable practice . As I did not eat, I rated other categories average. Service is simply not acceptable. 繼續閱讀

Samsen has been a favorite since it opened its original Wan Chai location. Always high quality, always busy, always leaves me stuffed. Before we got married, my wife and I went on several dates to the Wan Chai branch and after the Sheung Wan location opened closer to our flat, we have split time between the two.This location has a larger menu: more curries, satays/skewers, some different drink options. It’s also larger (and therefore noisier). But Samsen always delivers a quality night out. Best, as noted elsewhere, to get here ~15-20 minutes before it opens for a guaranteed spot, or you might spend more time queuing than eating. No reservations (a divisive move, but I like it). Have brought dozens of out-of-towners here and they all agree it is some of the best Thai they’ve ever eaten.Service is excellent at both locations at well, and it’s always fun to turn and see the kitchen working overtime to appease (and definitely please) the gaping maws of Hong Kong gourmands. 繼續閱讀
