Mira E-shop recently has a new promotion just after Christmas and if you prepay, the price of the afternoon tea after discount is just a bit less than $400. You still need to check the availablity through calling them as well.For the tea, I chose their Red Balloon as it is more festive.The tea stand was really festive and to my mind, it looked even more festive than the promotion picture.The scones this time despite the cold weather was still warm when served, compared to the last time I went here. My favorite savory was their snow crab quiche while the Mulled wine Jelly was definitely the most festive of all desserts. Their salted carmael mousse was also another outstanding dessert.I gave this a great review as this should be Coco's rating. However, the service was a bit subpar but this is more for the Yamm's staff rather than Coco. Coco is actually quite small and during afternoon tea time, many of us will be arranged to sit at the Yamm's area. The junior staff at Yamm seems quite uncertain how to provide service to those that ordered the afternoon tea set rather than the afternoon tea buffet. They would suddenly take away my plate(just like someone finishing their plate during buffet) but then they won't give you a new one. When I asked for a new one, they looked very confused after I asked in Cantonese and English. Finally my friend asked by Putonghua and they finally understood but still remained puzzled by this request till more senior staff passed by and gave me back a new plate. Later, when I finished my pot of tea, they wanted to take it away instead of asking whether I am finished or do I need to refill the tea pot with hot water. I again asked them to stop(in Putonghua this time) yet they still seem puzzled by the request till another senior staff came. Hence my topic that more training needs to be provided to them.Regarding the language barrier, if a customer tries to communicate with you, you can politely start with saying "Sorry, I only know Putonghua" rather than just standing there. The staff from Coco were very proficient and this time quickly scanned the QR code instead of the delay like last year. I still rated the service as 4 stars as it seemed unfair to rate the entire service of Coco here due the above problems of Yamm but I definitely cannot give 5 stars.

本身對非傳統的英式下午茶份外有興趣,若有亞洲東方fusion風的主題下午茶更加情有獨鍾,所以一見到這set下午茶的presentation同menu便要約姊妹一齊試試~環境:其實有點不似高級酒店餐廳,沒有自然光線下比較昏暗,不過坐到有半月梳化的檯非常舒適同relaxing😌食物:以三層食物籠放置,鹹點包括鹹魚芋角點心、和牛面頰雞蛋三文治、迷你叉燒菠蘿包、鮑魚雜菌撻、黑松露鵝肝雞蛋仔。鹹點樣樣出色,特別係迷你叉燒菠蘿內有清甜菠蘿解膩😋甜點包括茉莉花茶慕絲蛋糕、柚子桂花夏日雪山蛋糕、白蓮子鹽味焦糖泡芙、花生黑芝麻軟曲奇等。還有原味同鹹蛋黃味scone 配上特色花生黑芝麻醬、士多啤梨杞子果醬同傳統的clotted cream。每件各有特色,不過過於甜膩。不過餐飲叫Matcha latte就較遜色,不濃茶味而且比較甜。

CRÈME DE LA CRÈME Oriental Afternoon Tea at COCO, The Mira 🫖🥢SEASONAL SAVOURIES🦪Braised Abalone in Puff Pastry: Abalone has nice flavours. Would be better if the puff pastry could have a bit more flakey texture🐷Mini Pineapple Bun with Barbecue Pork: A nice treat but would be better if it was warmer🧇Black Truffle and Foie Gras Egg Waffle: The black truffle aroma really stood out. The egg waffle could be a bit crispier 🐟Deep-fried Wu Gok with Salted Fish: Nice it did not have that fishy salted fish aroma 🥪Salty Wagyu Beef Cheek and Egg Sando: Good it was not too salty. Again, would be better if it could be warmer and the toast could be crispier 🍬ORIENTAL PASTRIES BY CHEF MANDY SIU🍰Tie Guan Yin Buckwheat Cheesecake: Loved the tea aroma in the cheesecake 🧁Asian Citrus & Jasmine Tea Mousse Cake: A good balance of the tangy flavours and the tea 🍋Yuzu Osmanthus Summer Mont Blanc: Loved the nice yuzu flavours. Would be nicer if the osmanthus aroma could stand out a bit more🍮White Lotus Seed Salted Caramel Choux: This was a bit too sweet in my opinion🍪Sesame & Peanut Duo Soft Cookie: The sesame flavours were very strong👩🏻🍳BAKERY & HOMEMADE PRESERVES 🍴Classic Scone & Salted Egg Yolk Scone Served with:🥛 Yin Yang Sesame & Milk Jam🍰French Strawberry & Goji Jam 🧈Devonshire Clotted CreamScones were alright. The sesame and milk jam were very creative. The texture of the French Strawberry & Goji jam could be a bit thicker.💭OVERALL THOUGHTS👍🏻A very creative afternoon tea set blending in oriental elements 🤩The afternoon tea set was beautifully presented with a Chinese inspired basket🥢Would be better if the savoury treats can be warmer and the crispy treats can have more crisp🍭The sweet treats were nice that made good use of different tea elements
