I have been here for christmas celebration before and the quality of the food is pretty good. The traffic at central and causeway bay aren't so good these days, so I decided to come here to try their usual menu. I saw posts on openrice that they have the same menu for both lunch and dinner. This place is next to devon house and all the commerical buildings, so I believe it should be packed during lunch time. Dinner is definitely a better option for me.Their menu is very simple and you have a
Their menu is very simple and you have a few choices for each starter, main and desserts. A few dishes (such as foie gras, mussels and steak) will need supplementary. We actually picked the highlighted (recommended) dishes. The soup is thick and creamy, but the flavour is not strong enough. This is the first time I had escargot with breadcrumbs. It's very special and the taste is good plus not that oily. The mussels were very good and I saw a few tables ordered this as well. The sauce is very nice and I even asked them for more bread. The duck confit was average. The texture was good but the sauce didn't really fit in. The sauce was a bit too sweet and thick. This was the highlight! It's amazing! Had the right balance of sweetness from the caramel and it was just right when you have the caramelised apple and a bit of ice cream together. I will definitely go back for this!
