Le Chefeteria, located in the quiet of Causeway Bay, opened on 1 December 2021 under the wings of homegrown Hong Kong bakery chain, Prince Bakery, to communicate that their cakes, breads, and cookies were all “hand-made in Hong Kong”. Thus, operating under the theme of “Artisanal Handmade from the Heart” the restaurant is a casual fine dining destination with a slow food philosophy, helmed by our own “Michelin star-trained French culinary Chef” Azmi Arialda offering European continental cuisine but fiercely proud of our heritage in Cosmopolitan Hong Kong. Hence our dishes here, with a focus on health consciousness, organic/sustainable and natural ingredients, and low fat/low sugar content, are often spiked with Asian and especially SE Asian crossover elements, representative of Hong Kong’s position in the world as a window into Asia. The restaurant features a solid white quartz preparation table, so patrons can watch chefs tossing roti, kneading fresh egg pasta, and plating dishes directly in front of them. We pride ourselves in using only natural salt and GMO free, cold pressed oils, with all our chicken, beef, pork, vegetable, fish and seafood stocks made from scratch elevated by the spices, fresh herbs, and flavours at home in Hong Kong.
