It turns out that this beautiful palace-style Indian restaurant "CHUTNEY" offers a lunch set for only $148 per person, which includes an appetizer, main course, Indian naan, and dessert. You can also add a Tandoori meat platter at a special price (Australian five-star lamb chops, grilled Australian barramundi, and grilled Malai chicken).

For just an extra $40, you can enjoy Mango Lassi/beer/red or white wine, and for an additional $28, you can have soda/lime soda/Masala tea. It's a great deal to chill with friends over drinks in the afternoon!

"CHUTNEY" is perfectly run by foreign chefs who recreate traditional Indian cuisine, and the golden silk drapes at the entrance are quite beautiful. This time, the Summer Menu lunch set offers a variety of authentic Indian dishes to choose from, such as Chaat, Keema Pav, and Chutney Butter Chicken; vegetarians can also choose the Baby Corn Curry.

All main courses come with a complimentary choice of one plain naan/ fenugreek leaf naan/ garlic naan, and having today's dessert really makes it a feast!

Bhalla Papdi Chaat
This Indian street snack features crispy wafers topped with Indian sauces and Chaat Masala, making it fragrant and crunchy. 

Squid
If you love spicy food, you must choose the squid! It's fragrant, mildly sweet, and the spiciness hits your taste buds quickly. The squid is large and chewy, and the feeling of it getting spicier as you bite into it is fantastic.

Keema Pav
The Keema Pav is a main course that is very common in India. The bun is hot and soft, and you scoop some minced meat onto it to eat together, creating a rich texture!

One of the signature dishes at "CHUTNEY," the Indian butter chicken is made with charcoal-grilled local yellow chicken, which is incredibly fragrant! The butter sauce is truly appetizing. The curry is not too strong, with a light sweetness and creamy flavor, making it perfect with Indian naan.

Fish Chatpat Curry
In Eastern India, there are many unique curry fish dishes. The fish is pan-fried until lightly charred, then simmered together with spices, vegetables, and sauce. The lightly charred fish is tender on the inside, providing a delightful surprise compared to the usual fish dishes.

Asparagus Corn Masala
A popular vegetarian curry, made with a generous amount of distinctive Indian spices. You first taste the smooth curry sauce, followed by the refreshing sweetness of corn, making it quite refreshing to eat in the summer!

"CHUTNEY" has two large Tandoori ovens in the restaurant, allowing for freshly charcoal-grilled flatbreads, meats, and seafood. The Indian naan we had was freshly baked right there, with three flavors to choose from—plain naan, fenugreek leaf naan, and garlic naan.
