在灣仔與銅鑼灣的交界中行走,剛巧經過了一間小店,外貌像極了在泰國見到的小店,裏面賣的就是泰國的菜式,例如有海南雞飯,船河等等。正好還沒有吃晚飯,所以決定入去一試,朋友和我分別叫了一個海南雞飯,一個船河及一個平常少見的苦瓜湯,之後再追加一個芒果糯米飯,一頓飽飽的晚餐。海南雞飯的飯量非常之多,而且飯底很有雞油的味道十分香濃,隨飯之外有一個冬瓜清湯及特製的酸辣醬及豉油。酸辣醬酸辣味也恰到好處,非常開胃,把整整一個飯吃完也一點都不出奇。船河分量亦很大,有泰國特色的捲粉,湯底是非常濃郁的豬雜湯,另外有豬腰,豬皮,豬肉,豬肉丸作餸,價錢也是五十多元,性價比高。苦瓜湯味道不是很苦,而且是平常吃不到的味道,內裏有很多舊排骨,煲完了還嫩及有肉香,值得一試。芒果糯米飯不是死甜,有一點鹽帶出正宗鹹甜芒果糯米飯的味道,可惜的是芒果不是泰國芒。店裡的擺設桌椅像泰國見到的,店員也是泰國人,有種去了泰國的錯覺,有風味之餘,價錢也很抵食。

As well as Thai style Hainan chicken rice, some restaurants in Thailand also serve fried chicken.When I found out that this place had fried chicken I had to check it out.The restaurant is located between Wanchai and Causeway Bay so it is a bit of a trek.When I went in, I saw the fried chicken in the cabinet which meant the fried chicken was already done.The menurdered two noodles and the chicken combo:The chicken looked good but the fried chicken was a bit cold and the coating wasn't crispy.Alth

The chicken looked good but the fried chicken was a bit cold and the coating wasn't crispy.
Although it wasn't crispy I was glad they didn't fry it again.
Apart from that the Hainan chicken was good but the rice was a little too soft.

Next were the noodles which were great especially their signature boat noodles.

苦瓜湯湯底味道不苦,反而有種清香,是平常吃不到的味道,內裏有很多排骨,都煮得軟而有肉香,值得一試。

因為想吃海南雞在openrice找到這家,評論不多,也不知道會不會踩雷,還是決定來試一試,走門口的時候不是很多人,12:20左右。進店之後先落單付錢,才上菜,點了無骨海南雞飯,轉雞脾+10,以及船面(牛),雞肉滑嫩一點也不腥非常好吃,船面貌似上錯了肉,要的是牛,嚐起來真的是豬肉,不過也很好吃。一定會再來。 店內地面有點滑,不知是不是有油。
