I booked this place for lunch for two together with my boyfriend. The food was very small in portion and bland in taste.In all honesty we did opt for the lunch set menu and as such my comments will be limited to that. While cheaper, I would expect a slightly better quality of food given the raving reviews here. But don’t be fooled! I would rather have paid a premium if it meant having better food.Steer clear all together.

其實,今日嚟堅尼地城食lunch 既誘因係去高先電影院睇戯。一班一直從事電影業嘅香港人,熱愛電影愛到要開一間屬於自己的戲院,在疫情下逆市開張,講明要撐本土電影,支持熱血新影人。所以,即使我住喺九龍,都特登坐十幾個站嚟撐下場,買飛睇「媽媽的神奇小子」—一齣台前幕後故事人物都係純港產嘅電影,係高先睇真係特別啱feel☺️

至於甜品,Madeleines 當然是必然之選。這𥚃的 Madeleines 都是現烤,烤得外脆内軟,熱呼呼的,帶橙香,給第一次吃這個小蛋糕的我,留下一個好印象。而配上的雪糕,朱古力味濃厚,正合愛吃朱古力的我。

另一款是 Today’s Dessert 的朱古力杏仁撻,睇落平平無奇,本想味道應該如之前的雲糕一樣是香濃的朱古力吧。一口咬下去,除了朱古力外,隨之而來是焦糖的甜味和杏仁香,總合起來,像食了一粒樂家杏仁糖(又是我的至愛),非常驚喜,吃得滿心歡喜。

My friend’s reservation was cancelled without any notification, when calling back to ask about the reason, the staff on the phone warned my friend need to talk nice for asking!! And laughed at my friend about they do have tables but thinking to give us or not! Not acceptable attitude.———朋友預約在沒有通知情況下被取消,打電話去詢問點解,職員警告我朋友要態度客氣先可以問問題!仲要笑住講佢地有檯,但考慮俾唔俾我地!無法接受該說話態度。

The CP ratio that the lunch could offer is beyond charts! This bistro in K Town really resembles those french bistros with arts hanging on the wall. Plus, they don’t charge corkage so it’s nice to bring your own bottle there. The lobster linguine is just so perfect. The lobster bisque and the linguine mixed so well. The chicken is also good.
