因為我們點了生蠔,所以結帳價錢是出乎意料之外地貴.如果來到只吃頭盤主菜,每人平均消費也是百多二百而已.

已過去的不可再,今天只可憶起,多月後的今天,只會向前看,下個月來到大坑,與眾人去那一間食肆晚飯?

約了食友HH,問她喜歡吃串燒還是吃生蠔,她二話不說話要吃蠔,最就腳的就在blue lemon。正在做蠔的推廣,有買一打後加一蚊送一隻蠔的優惠,難怪餐廳內的檯都擺上了Reserve的牌。叫了一打生蠔拼盤,有澳洲、南非及愛爾蘭,未吃到主角,食友已被有異味的「一蚊蠔」嚇壞了,偶試了半口,是帶酸苦味,吃生蠔不是講玩的,保存冷藏配備不能馬虎,當賣一隻蠔可賺一倍的利潤時,拜托,請注意出品質素。投訴後,店方取消了生蠔的單價,態度是良好的,姑且不予喊面。

I understand that this place is more catered for oysters and dinners but I only ordered from their set lunch menus during weekend so I guess my review doesn't do the restaurant justice in terms of their full menu. In any case, I was interested in some of their salads in their main menu but decided to go with their set lunches instead. Price ranges from 58 - 98 I believe which includes soup and coffee or tea. In any case, I was interested in some of their salads in their main menu but decided to go with their set lunches instead. Price ranges from 58 - 98 I believe which includes soup and coffee or tea. The soup is set and it was cream of something that day.. don't remember, nothing spectacular and I don't like cream based soup personally so I only had 2 sips.

Ordered the lamb chop with a side of potato wedges. You have a choice of rice, spaghetti or potato wedges with some veggies to go along with your main course. Other choices include ox tail, fish, pasta, etc. My lamb chop was a bit on the fatty side but cooked to medium nonetheless. Overall for the price it was decent. Their kitchen is somewhere else on the other street so it takes some time for them to bring the dishes over.

One improvement to be made will be to make sure all dishes for the table are ready, then serve them all together. Common mistake that a lot of restaurants make. My friend was almost done with her pasta even before my lamb chop arrived, so yeah, timing issues.

One thing I am impressed with this restaurant is their hot coffee. Aromatic and stands well on its own, tastes great black but also with some cream. So I had a great finish to my meal

personally i think their steak (including the beef, lamb and chicken) was not really delicious...but their pasta was particularly outstanding!

i have ordered 2 kinds of pasta, including the chilli cod fish, grilled prawn with lobster sauce, they are having completely different taste and style, but both worth a try! especially the chilli cod fish pasta, its pan fried with olive oil and the sauce is so good but it didnt ruin the al dente of the pasta! i love it so much

as for snack-wise, duck breast would be strongly recommended

if you like salad, this is a good place as well....their caeser salad is very good, the romaine lettuce was "icy" and crispy, which is a very important thing in salad....if you like salmon and avocado, then you can try the avocado salmon salad....i am in love with that as i am an avocado and salmon lover! they just mixed them so well with a secret sauce!

it become my top dining place now as the food is so delicious with reasonable price!

p.s. they have gillardeau here, so oyster lovers may give it a try....but i still think that the south african one is better...

as for the hot dish, i didnt really gave it a try, so, couldnt comment...i ordered a snack dish though, something like baked potato....a bit overcooked but the potato was great! it's a special kind of potato....forgot the name...something like "baby potato"

anyway, if you like oyster, you have to go and try the South Africa one....it worths going!

Ate a full breakfast in the morning so we had a late lunch at about 2pm. My friend picked this nearby restaurant, I used to dine in Tai Hang before but still hadnt tried Blue Lemon. I had been thinking it should be OK (from the decor) every time when I walked pass here but its really disappointing...As some of the sets were not available, we ordered the same set , something like angel hair with shrimp and basil. Dunno why the sauce was flavored like instant noodle but its creamy sauce actually.

我:我知, 我都係想電話order 左, 再落黎拎jer (p.s.話說佢d野都整耐, 閒閒地都20 - 25 mins, 我無理由係道等, 再加上我留意到其實o個間舖係無廚房, d 野食係由第二度拎黎, 成日都見d waiter 係出邊拎d dishes, 收低個lid, 再serve )
w: 我地要俾左錢先可以落order ka wor~
我: 吓~! 咁我咪要等lor?!
w: 係ka la
我: 咁介唔介意講下有咩set 呢.

收左線之後條氣好唔順, 最後都無去到堂食. 我想講ker 係, 天后我都食過好多好ker餐廳, 亦見過好多waitress 好串 (e.g. 好似 "黑x" 咁, waitress 串到嘔), 但態度可以改善下lor.
可能blue ocean覺得堂食多左客, 好生意好左, 多左熟客 or 高貴到takesway唔做都無所謂, 但唔好忙記, 你收一個堂食ker 客 ker 錢同一個takeway 客係無分別ker, 到頭來我都唔洗妳serve tim. 但因為咁你就踢左個客走, 而我post 埋係度, 可能都會俾其他未黎過ker 客有唔好ker impression la.
老板睇完依個post 希望你可以brief 下你d 員工 ,如o個位員工睇到ker 話請自己檢討下. 依個世界唔會有一世ker熟客, 只有因為你service 差而以後都唔黎ker 客. if 你想玩高擋, 希望你d員工都要be more professional as well~!!

I had lunch by myself today, so I picked this small restaurant coz I found it quite nice when we walked by in the evening. Furthermore, there was my favorite dish : Salmon and crab roes pasta in cream sauce..and the price is very reasonable.Environment - Good, open with natural light coming through.Service - quite good, ppl all carried with smile. Food -
Onion Cream soup - well, room for improvement. Not tasty enough.
Pasta- good, the sauce is savory. Diced salmon and crab roes were enough.
Milk Tea - surprisingly very good, in HK style! Lots of cream, I like it!!!

In terms of all three factors, it is a good place to have lunch either by yourself, or with your beloved or friends!

What a disappointed dinner regarding the fair qaulity food coupled with the questionable bill in this “Blue Lemon” at 110-114 Tung Lo Wan Road at Causeway Bay on 2009-03-01 (SUNDAY).

On 2009-03-01, my wife and I dined at this deemed lighting restaurant for our first time, hoping the food be fine for us to enjoy.

We have ordered a stewed lamb shank (lamb knee valued at HK$138), a dish of smoked salmon spaghetti (valued at HK$68), an onion soup (valued at HK$48) and a lobster bisque (soup valued at HK$58). The waitress told me that one of the main courses (lamb knee) included a “soup of the day” which can be “upgraded” to a soup valued at HK$48 which is the same price of the onion soup we ordered but the bill was of big question!!

The taste:
The onion soup is a totally disappointed that its taste was similar to pipe water and is totally not valued for its price at HK$48!! I wondered whether the chef knew how to cook normal onion soup, not to expect he/she can cook tasteful one! The lobster soup is okay but its taste is not equivalent to its price charged (HK$58). The taste of both the lamb knee and spaghetti are okay but the all the foods are cold as I found that the restaurant has no kitchen!! All the food and soups are required to be “transported” from a remote kitchen (unknown location) to the restaurant!! It is really strange and wondered this restaurant possessed any legally required license!!!

The bill:
Since a waitress told me that the soup can be upgraded to a soup valued at HK$48, it is common sense judged that the soup we ordered would be free of charge as she claimed it was “upgraded”~! I felt strange when I checked the bill as I found the onion soup costed HK$48!! The waitress claimed she had had explained to me that upgrade means less HK$10 for soup at HK$48 (The HK$10 less was found minored from the lobster biscuit from HK$58 to HK$48!). I asked her manager to explain the bill again as she did not explain this “HK$10 less” to me beforehand. The manager however explained the same though I stressed that the aforesaid waitress did not explain the “upgrade” meaning to me! In common sense, upgrade means free of charge for upgrading to another item opted for free but this restaurant has its own unique interpretation which was ridiculous and most importantly, the poor manner waitress did not explain to its clients. In this case, although I was very unhappy, disappointed and felt being cheated, the manager still insisted they were right without any fault. I could not but pay the charge as required and left it with anger~~ !! What a shame to HK servicing industry. Please bear in mind to be another victim from this “blacklisted shop”!
