小插曲係有個阿姐想食咖喱牛腩,但係唔記得咗邊隻牛腩,淨係話爽嘅有肥嘅,老闆話唔知佢講邊種,但可以根據佢口味整俾佢食,我覺得老闆真係想人欣賞佢嘅牛腩。唔知道將來老闆會唔會繼續堅持,定係要向大眾嘅口味同灣仔鋪租屈服,但係佢嘅熱誠最少有一刻存在過。

咖喱三寶($25)即係蘿蔔、魚蛋及豬皮。據稱咖喱汁乃獨門自家調製,在港式咖喱醬基礎下,加入了馬來風味。少了港式街邊車仔檔咖喱魚蛋的單純辣椒辛香,但就多了南洋香料風味。是否好味,見仁見智?但如果想食純港式風味,就有點失望了。蘿蔔冇渣、底味清甜,吸收了辣汁之後幾好食;豬皮就略嫌唔夠軟綿、偏硬;魚蛋亦很一般。

見到媒體報道就去試吓,未坐低入到去間舖頭已經聞到好大浸牛肉味,佢唔係好香嘅牛肉味,而係一浸臭臭地嘅牛肉味,然後坐低發覺地板好「立」枱面好油,望一望個餐牌一碗牛腩河要成$60(咁老實講好唔好味又唔一定係睇個價錢嘅,平同貴都有嘢好食同唔好食嘅。)
我去當日佢話乜嘢崩沙腩,咩特別嘢都賣晒,咁我就唯有叫碗普通嘅牛腩河,我見到啲牛腩嘅賣相我就心知不妙,首先見到啲牛腩肉有兩節色,同一舊肉有粉紅色仲有少少黑色,咁我以為佢係新鮮腩肉,一啖咬落去,佢嘅質感好似一啲鹹豬手經過處理過嘅肉咁,好乾好硬,我再飲一啖啲湯,冇牛肉味又鹹,碗野跟埋嘅嗰幾舊蘿蔔,冇味。
跟住我就望下佢店入上面寫住嘅字,佢大概係話自己放棄高薪厚職,又話自己好鍾意食牛腩,最後我見到佢自稱素人⋯⋯睇返佢響媒體報道講嘅說話:「我敢說這店全部用最優質的食材,所有來貨我全部都食過、試過最好的才採用,就算是牛丸、魚蛋,也盡量是香港製造。如牛腩便是向提供全香港最靚牛肉的名店牛皇莫取貨,包括爽腩、 崩沙腩及牛坑腩等新鮮騸牯牛腩。老闆不是人人都肯賣貨,我都是經朋友介紹引薦、對方認同我的創業理念才取到靚貨。」
唔知係咪因為我叫咗普通嘅牛腩所以係咁嘅質素,但係我想講,如果連一碗普通嘅牛腩河都煮得唔好嘅話,用最優質嘅食材都係徒然。

睇完某channel介紹,難得喺附近返工,一放lunch就以飛去食,行慢一分鐘都會撞正lunch煩忙時間而排隊。睇完menu,試下佢嘅炕腩河。湯底清,先飲一啖充滿牛骨味道同香氣。蘿白無根又夠淋。之後先食一塊坑腩,柔軟非常,唔駛考牙力,較為大塊嘅坑腩,當中嘅脂肪又淋又香,似食緊牛筯咁而比較細塊嘅有幾嚿,原先以為喺「搭」嘅,點知呢幾嚿先最正淋得嚟有咬口,而且充滿牛脂香氣,似食緊炆牛尾咁經過呢次後,下次一定要去食崩沙腩,相信唔會似坊間嘅咁,食到似橡筯嘅感覺

I went there for lunch around 12:20’s. The restaurant have above 10 seats total and was all full. I order takeaway from one of the lady and 10mins lady I asked another lady to make sure the orders was placed. The 2nd lady told me the orders wasn’t put in. So, I ordered again. It took over 30 mins to make a 5 mins order. Most of the din in customers are already eating. So, it should never take that long. Each of the dishes on the menu the food are already cooked. The restaurant have 5 employees total. 2 in the kitchen and 3 in the front. It seem everyone are very confused when looking at the ordering sheet.

There were another takeaway orders in front of me ordered 3 Beef briskets on rice which it will probably take no more then 10 mins to pack it. They and ended up taking more then 30mins and still didn’t come out and ended up the customer asked the money back.

The kitchen I think one of them is the owner and the other doesn’t seem know what to do. Just that not either one are taking control of the kitchen.

The food : I ordered the Beef briskets with Ho fun and the curry with 3 things in it. The beef is tender and soup is not too oily and is tasty. The curry was ok.
