難得平日放假,跟家人到赤柱遊覽。這天風和日麗,從赤柱廣場外望一片碧海,頗有南法風情。由領匯管理的赤柱廣場,裡面有一間由稻香集團營運的精品中菜,叫"鍾菜", 裡面裝修有別一般酒樓:陽光從落地玻璃透進室內,白色的餐桌,歐式的座椅,一切一切是多麼的和諧。香煎蝦米腸不太燶,火侯剛好。蝦米有嚼口。糯米卷皮薄糯米煙靱。叉燒包外圍軟綿綿,核心熱辣辣沙薑豬腳必點啊!豬皮Q彈入味,豬腳關節的軟骨,係補充骨膠原不二之選。赤柱鍾菜侍應親切有禮,埋單走的時候一句"下次再嚟吖拜拜", 彷彿在跟老朋友打招呼,出自真心,一點也不行貨。

晚黑比較得閒,時間比較多,唔想系屋企度食飯,唔想自己動手煮嘢食,所以出咗去鍾菜度。~脆米西施認真好好味,點解咁講,因為脆米西施係用高湯做底嘅,高湯真系飲得出佢地係用心去煲出來的,味道好醇厚,火候好足。然之後脆米呢就口感好香脆咯,入口好特別吖,滿足曬我啲好奇心。~海鮮都好新鮮,肉質鮮嫩味美,一份好大,我地兩個人都食飽咗仲剩底好多。~蝦餃都係普遍嘅皮薄餡多,餡同皮加上醬料真系好好味,都可以透過皮睇到入邊嘅餡喇,好新鮮。~呢間啲普洱茶就唔好飲咯,感覺好舊漏,而且味道比較淡,可能同我飲濃茶有關吧。價錢都幾抵下。

~蝦餃都係普遍嘅皮薄餡多,餡同皮加上醬料真系好好味,都可以透過皮睇到入邊嘅餡喇,好新鮮。
~呢間啲普洱茶就唔好飲咯,感覺好舊漏,而且味道比較淡,可能同我飲濃茶有關吧。價錢都幾抵下。

Came by for lunch the other day and it was surprisingly decent for a touristy spot!
Despite looking moderately upscale from the outside, the restaurant is extremely loud on the inside...
Salt & Pepper Eggplant was excellent. Lightly fried and well seasoned..not too oily either!
The premium har gow was decent. The skin was translucent and the shrimp was fresh.
The steamed beef balls were okay.
The sauteed beef tenderloin with tomatoes and onions was excellent! Perfectly seasoned with a small portion, perfectly complementing the lunch. The beef was very tender and flavorful.
The runny egg scallops chow fun was also very good. The scallops were large and tasted very fresh. The chow fun was tasty although a tad more egg would have made this dish top notch!
2 hours validated parking with the purchase of $200+ validated via the Customer Services counter on the 1/F.

BB 豬夠嫩夠脆,無乜肥膏,唔似平時食成大隻燒豬有成寸厚肥肉,又無果陣豬臭味。

椒鹽鮮魷都唔錯,脆漿好薄,椒鹽味道都岩岩好

炸子雞同咕嚕雞球都係一貫酒樓水準,都係咁嘅味。

我最愛食豆苗,上湯浸同炒都得,都唔會難食,唔使講

沙巴龍躉都係第一次食,佢起左肉來炒四季豆,好方便食,第一次食依隻魚嘅味道,都不錯呀

赤柱多外國人又多遊客,高檔食肆不少,連領匯商場都來個大翻“新“,變哂中高檔次舖頭,對象肯定唔係鄰近馬坑邨居民。呢度唯一酒樓係鍾菜,細細間但週末午飯時間都唔滿座,或者遊客唔食中菜附近居民又嫌貴?點心質素其實不俗。鍋貼香口不過下面塊網只係整色整水。叉燒包奶黄包皮薄餡多,鳕魚餃出奇地有魚味而唔腥。千層蛋糕忌廉份量適中。最得意係啲彩色膠蒸籠,唔知同蒸點心效果同竹籠有乜分別,又唔知點解有啲用膠籠有啲用竹籠呢...價錢稍貴但竟然免茶免加一,計落條數差唔多。去到赤柱唔想食西餐可以考慮呢度。

頭抽豉油王炒麵($98)---又一樣好咸嘅菜,因為餐廳用咗比平時再幼身嘅麵,麵質煙韌,但幼麵索得汁料更多,結果更咸,呢味菜無乜配料,只有蔥同芽菜,配料爽口,但真的太咸,最後每人只能食到少少!

呢間餐廳標榜無加味精,雞粉,色素,唔知廚師係唔係為咗填補無味精嘅味道,而狂加重其他味道,我同魚佬自問都唔算食得淡口,但味道重到咁嘅程度,真係接受唔到!魚佬通常負責清碟,可惜今次都做唔到!
以呢間中價菜館來講,係令我失望了!


地方光猛乾淨,裝修新潮,待應亦有禮勤快,不過廚師真係唔好咁重手!

Our previous experiences were basically fair on the waterfront.The place looked classy and clean with a good outlook. One of the best meals we have had in Hong Kong.
We were in Stanley revisiting after many years and found this restaurant in a recently new shopping mall. Our previous experiences were basically fair on the waterfront.
The place looked classy and clean with a good outlook. The staff spoke little English but enough to bring an English menu which I would say was the main menu rather than the Dim Sum. I would say for lunch Dim Sum was the most usual. There was a Dim Sum order sheet there but difficult for us to follow. We ordered three dishes off the main menu and they were magnificent - perfect in every department -presentation appearance an flavour. All were perfectly cooked a chicken with apple and Pomegranite ?sauce which was brilliant a prawn in a mustard sauce and crispy rice (like rice bubbles) then a vegetable stir fry. What a delight all three were. I washed mine down witha beer and my partner a soft drink. Both of us could not remember a better Chinese meal in a very long time. Aussie Chinese is something we avoid - all over sauced and over cooked. This place would make a fortune there.
The bill an astounding $AU65 - billed in AU as well.this would have to be the most value for money meal we have had in a very long time. Well done Chungs Cuisine. We will be recommending this to all our friends planning a visit to HK .
