椰子雞是內地近年興起的飲食風潮,只要在內地開飯網以關鍵字搜尋,便能找出不少以此作招徠的菜館,店名都是「XX文昌」、「文昌XX」、「海南XX」的,這跟近年內地人注重食療養生不無關係。海南椰子給人的形象是溫潤清淡之物,椰子雞鍋要比傳統火鍋來得清新淡雅,對於偏好廣東火鍋的我來說絕對是個新嚐試。這海南名物在本地食界還是初起步階段,同樣是以「海南」、「四季」作為店名的,是過江龍或是地頭蟲也未可知。選了當中較具人氣的「四季文昌」,「文昌」說明了椰子雞鍋屬海南菜的意涵,而「四季」正是港人吃火鍋的習慣,若把燥熱的湯底換上性平的椰子水,確是能做到火鍋四季合宜的養生效果。分明是家中式火鍋店,卻有着濃濃的書卷氣息,牆上舊書架配上微暗的燈光,感覺更像一家復古咖啡店。寬廣的店面加上特高樓底通風極佳,吃着霧氣騰騰火鍋也不感悶熱侷促。既是走年輕路線的火鍋店,便不能墨守成規。除了主打的椰子雞鍋外,餐牌亦不乏海南特色菜。本是為文昌椰子雞而來,卻發現另一抵食之選-海鮮拼盤,在老公強烈要求下便點上一客。麵包蟹海鮮拼盤 ($598)有原隻麵包蟹和十二隻生蠔,另配翡翠螺、青口、凍蝦和白酒一枝,這陣容是太誇張了吧!麵包蟹相當新鮮
