同朋友食團年飯,當然食好D 餐廳員工好有禮貌,介紹我地可以點揀拼盤海膽好肥美,配新鮮青瓜,好正蠔有兩圩,名我唔記得,但都好鮮甜,正赤貝好小食到咁鮮甜,可能小食好野啦 墨魚剌身我平時唔鐘意食,因為口感一般,但今次我食哂,因為好爽口,好味牙!煙三文魚沙律-無特別,所以相都無影黑松露露筍意粉-真係好好味,意粉煮得剛好,呢個真係必食青口-基本上都唔錯,但青口太瘦,哈哈酒 order 左一枝,唔錯$299枝,之後自己出去買兩枝,佢地free左我地開瓶,呵呵!埋單 $1100,都ok continue reading

First time to here and already liking the place , located in Jordan and only 3mins walk from MTR.  It was a Christmas Party for 10 of us (we sat upstairs), for so many food and wine we have ordered, it was not expensive at all!!!For starter, we have tried the beef with mushroom, rich taste with well cooked beef, but portion too small.  We have also tried the Parma Ham which tasted normal.We were recommended to try the Crab paste with garlic bread which was surprisingly great.  Crab paste goes with garlic bread perfectly, must try!!  (Service was great and waiters recommendation matches our needs, never see what was mentioned in other posts)For main courses, we have tried a few oysters which all tastes fresh and all of us were happy about it, especially the Ostra Regal, it was my first time and I will definitely eat more soon!We were also suggested to try out the Uni Sashimi.  Just check out the pic and I am sure you will order it soon!!  It was amazing!! We also ordered a few hot dishes, which all tasted good.  King Prawn was great but Risotto was just normal. At the end, we also tried out the desserts but since I am not a dessert fans, so no comment. continue reading

收到了此店的試食邀請,不違然原來店家主力賣海鮮西餐,所以其收費也頗昂貴,這類型的小餐廳在香港不算很多,不過幸而本人也吃過數所好吃的,如以前的La Bouteille、Bravo Latata等,珠玉在前,本人至少也好以好歹來一個比較。正正因為店家收費也頗昂貴,所以最後決家相約食友一起前來,好讓店家安排多一點東西給我們試,而收到更多的Feedback,這樣人頭收費上又不會太高,同時也不想影響店家的運作,找了個平日來試。大家帶着疲勞的身子來吃晚飯,幸好再也不用想吃什麼了,店家是夜為我們準備了一客Seafood Platter、一點包類小吃、意粉及飯與及不同的主菜及甜品等等,多點人來吃,就是有試多幾款的好處。先來客蒜蓉包配蟹肉醬,蟹肉醬跟蒜蓉包分上,這不但可保持蒜蓉包的香脆,也令蟹肉的熱度得以保留得更好,蟹肉用上了蛋黃醬作底,混入洋蔥、蕃茜、松露油及蟹肉煮成,入口有不少新鮮蟹肉,加上已經煮得軟腍的洋蔥及蕃茜來吊味,入口就是香及甜。大貪的用上一大匙的蟹肉醬塗蒜蓉包吃,入口除了盡是這份香甜,蒜蓉包即吃也還是香脆可口,加上牛油的鹹香,令本來的鮮味多了分重口味的香味,個人而言還認為不錯,吃這個包,絕對是一餐的好開始。Seafood Platter可以說是是夜的主角之一,其份量上非常之大,相信這個讓我們六人吃的拼盤,是比起一般賣二百八十八的要大,這個Platter什麼都有一點點,蠔的化表分別是澳州的Virginica及法國的White Pearl,貝類就有赤貝,另外就有海螫蝦,伴上一點日式芥末,其實店家也另有三款醬汁配海鮮,都是比較普遍的酸醋汁及檸檬汁等,不過本人吃海鮮都是重吃其鮮味,所以最後都沒有試過它們的醬汁,最多都是下點檸檬汁吃就好了。我們先吃比較淡身的Virginica,由澳洲而來的它可算是合時良品,店家說比較爽口,不過其實又未能算是十分爽脆,真的屬於爽口的維珍尼亞蠔,其蠔肉的邊位是真的可以吃到‘索索聲’的,鮮味方面,其實也還不賴,不過海水味就不會很重,不過至少店家的開蠔技巧也還不賴,吃多隻蠔都不見蠔肉上帶有蠔殼,以三十元一隻來計,其實真的很不錯。法國而來的White Pearl,就不太合時了, 不過始終也是法國蠔,本性難移的它,吃起來果真有大陣海水味,細嚐當中的礦物味,欠的就只有一瓶白酒,不過話說回來,回想起曾幾何時在歐洲吃蠔,是吃過鹹中又有甜的味道,也許可能是蠔種的問題吧,但以這一個品種的蠔來說,都已經是相當不錯,此蠔一隻索價五十三元,價錢絕對不低,不過就真的物有所值。之後就吃海螫蝦,這蝦真的夠大隻,而且處理方面也很為顧客着想,蝦殼已經預先去掉,而見蝦肉那還帶半透明的樣子,就知道這蝦只是輕輕煮過,本人常認為半生不熟的海鮮,尤其是蝦及三文魚,都是最好吃的,蝦肉十分爽脆,而且爆出來那份鮮甜,真的非筆墨可以形容。最後那些鮮艷的赤貝,光是見其殼,就對店家有了一定的信心,至少清洗的夠乾淨,赤貝肉質清爽得不得了,跟吃French Bulot不同,我們吃的不是海水味,而是貝肉被本人甫咬下的同時,那股鮮甜,又是非筆墨可以形容。吃過了海鮮,就用個沙律來間場,這個香煎鵪鶉蛋蕃茄沙律配香草多士,絕對吃味豐富,三年煎鵪鶉蛋,本人是可完全為沙律提香,但就不知何故的,它們就是不太有蛋應有的香甜,而伴來的蒜蓉包也很腍,坦然令對鵪鶉蛋充滿憧憬的我有點失望,幸好伴着沙律菜的那些蕃茄沙沙,成功的化去了鵪鶉蛋的重身,吃起來味道平衡,既有蕃茄的鮮味,同時也有鵪鶉蛋黃的豐香,總括而言還算不賴。意粉的環節,先來一份黑松露鮮菌露筍扁意粉,扁意粉煮得彈牙有嚼勁,黑松露的味道滲透了在意粉的每個角落之內,吃起來就是每口也是其香味,加上本身這香味又跟鮮菌來得合拍,菇肉飽滿而黑松露充實了其吃味,令這碟意粉味道非常之好,個人認為這是我們是日所試意粉及飯類菜式當中最好的一道。吃過了黑,就去吃白,煙肉白菌卡邦拿扁意粉,店家用的相信不是Pancetta,不過這個問題個人認為也不太大,問題的精要是店家下的煙肉太多,而且還要是起鑊後爆至乾透的版本,鹹味的濃度非常之高,完完全蓋過了卡邦尼應有的忌廉及蛋香,雖然意粉煮得還不錯,吃味也只是濃郁過了頭,但事後也跟店家反映了這個問題,而店家也虛心聆聽。接下來的是南瓜汁香煎帶子意大利飯,吃意大利飯除了口感,也要那醬汁夠味美,而且煮得入味,那就很難會不好吃了,這個醬汁其實也還不錯,鮮甜的帶少少南瓜味,不過本人就期望多一點南瓜的甜,至於應否下點南瓜蓉下飯當中,本人則有所保留,不過不夠南瓜甜味,與及汁底本身鹹了點,就是鐵一般的事實。不過總括而言,以上的情況也不是很過份,加上飯煮得腍中有硬,吃起來如有「骨」的感覺,而香煎帶子肉質也飽滿,但就不幸的吃得出有雪味,其實本人也明白沒可能用上新鮮貨,但可能店家就要在解凍的功夫上作出改善。之後就是吃肉的環節,也是本人最振奮的時候了,先來的是香草寶雲蘇紐西蘭羊架,看其橫截面就知道羊架有多美味了,外啡而內還保留嬌紅,本人很難相信是切好再烤焗,所以很有可能都是一整排羊架去烤,烤好了才切成一件件奉客,所以基本上這張相片,已經可以告訴大家它有多好美味及軟腍,邊嚼就邊滲出淺淺的羊羶味,就算是怕羶的人仕,也可以吃上一點,這個羊肉很出色,令我想起很久之前在Ava吃過的蘇格蘭羊扒呢!吃過了羊就吃牛,店家用的是美國牛,足足有十安士之多,牛扒就只有邊位多一點脂肪,扒身中間不會很油,但同時也不影響它的吃味,肉咬起來還是有着相當豐的肉汁,而且肉味很濃,吃起來也很有吃肉的咬口,跟吃和牛那入口即化的口感,根本是完全兩回事,可以說是各有各風味,而由於它的肉味已夠濃,基本上本身已夠好吃,所以在旁的紅酒汁,好不好吃也不重要了。香草烤春雞配露絲瑪莉汁,盡顯了店家烤焗的功架,不單外層的雞皮烤得香脆,而裡頭的雞肉卻非常之非常嫩滑,而且雞肉本身的調味也不錯,雞肉多汁而夠味,而雞脾位置更是起了骨,店家在這方面真的非常體貼,而其實三道肉食當中的伴碟配菜也不錯,紅蘿蔔、薯仔及茄子等都被烘烤過,蘸點鹹度適中而見露絲瑪莉香的醬汁吃,也真的沒有什麼可以投訴了。吃過了主食,之後就是吃甜品的時候了,但怎知道我們就此等上近四十分鐘,這可不是一個短時間,店家真的有必要留意這一點,不然本人相信普通的食客一定發火離場,而店家解釋因為這個甜品是Off-Menu的新作品,需要即製即吃,所以基本上就要等待長一點的時間。這個大家連其名字也不知道的甜品,看它猶如千層糕,層層帶木糠餅碎之貌,就先幫它改個名字為雜莓千層木糠吧!除了木糠餅碎,另外黃色的原來是吉士,坦然如果要有木糠作為甜點的一員,就至少它要夠碎及夠乾,是日的就明顯不夠碎了,且那層吉士也很明顯的不夠香,而且鮮製的吉士還未雪得夠凍,這也大大影響了其吃味。接下來的是心太軟朱古力伴雪糕,我們甫見到那雪糕如融掉的雪山,真的立時大家也O了咀,因為我們真的未曾見過有人會放雪糕在心太軟之上,這不但加速雪糕的融化,也令本來焗得香脆的外層也腍了,而且跟來的是芒果味的雪糕,也令人有點格格不入的感覺,坦然如果店家能針對這兩點作出改善,這心太軟應該會是正常一點。不過如果要認真一點去評心太軟,除了蛋糕要外脆內鬆軟,內部的巧克力漿要夠流芯得來又不會太稀,當然最重要的部份都是巧克力,如果店家用的是靚貨,基本上那心太軟也可以說是會羸在起跑線上,無奈這個情形在香港不多見,而是日店家這一個心太軟也是沒有例外,巧克力的香味麻麻而且太甜,所以它也不是我杯茶。總括而言,店家主打的海鮮都挺不錯,不敢說十分之好吃,但至少夠新鮮夠衛生,而特別在處理蠔這個方面,還頗有心得,另外主菜也好吃,不得不教本人的鹹胃甚是滿足,不過最後姍姍來遲的甜品就顯得有點吃力不討好,令甜胃未能滿足,希望店家着緊改善,不過在此也再次多謝店家帶給我們一個鹹鮮的天空。 continue reading

Booked table 6 days ago for my wife birthday and at the end they said I didn't make reservation. At first they brought my wife to upstairs and they found someone was already sitting there. Then they all of the sudden said we do not have booking. Obviously they made a mistake but push all responsibily to their customers. I even showed the receptionist my caller history. The cocky receptionist did not even apologize and advised is our mistake. Ridiculous attitude and service is totally below par. Won't even recommend to anyone. Service is as low as this means this Resturant is not even up to standard at all. continue reading
