Recommended by my dear friend who went once and Dara is the best Filipino restaurant so far I’ve ever been 🤩We ordered quite a few dishes and the highlight has to be the sea bass. We even tried to order the second one but perhaps my 2 friends were pretty drunk so the friendly waiters thought we were joking 🤪 overall the food were all delicious and top service. The waiters even gave us 2 free shots and each was out of the menu( I think🥹). We also ordered couple different cocktails but mine was the best, love the pandan negroni and the cacao old fashion 🤤🤤🤤🤤 definitely going back for that again 💖

It was my first time trying Filipino food and I loved it! We got the sizzling sisig, tapang baka, the kamote fries and the aligue rice. I like fries that are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - these were not as crispy as I would prefer but still ok. The sizzling sisig was my absolute favorite! It was so deliciously chewy, savory and tasty, especially mixed in with the aligue rice. I will definitely be back! We skipped dessert but I wish they also had some of the dessert items from the lunch menu on the dinner menu (i.e. the sea salt cookies by Purple Flour).

Been here twice now, one during the early days of launch and more recently. My knowledge of Filipino food was limited and interest very little. I am so happy I went to try this. It’s food definitely made with love. No frills, just beautifully cooked and presented meals for hearts content. It doesn’t stop there- pretty much all of their unique cocktails are worth a try! The Calamansi margarita and Pandan negroni a real must try!Service with a smile, and in general oozes a great vibe. Thank you for bringing authentic Filipino food to HK Dara! Can’t wait to be back!

The ambience in Dara cannot be compared to the other Filipino restaurants in Hong Kong. The decor is not what you would’ve expect for a Filipino restaurant! Basically, it has a modern interior design with a touch of pinoy culture. The food is great. The lechon was crispy and juicy. I recommend it. The sinigang had the perfect balance of sourness. However, I would suggest to eat it quite quick as it’s served at room temperature and got cold too quickly because of the aircon. The portion is ,however, quite small for its price. For one person to be full, he or she would need two main dishes. The service is professional, quick and friendly. she was patient to introduce the menu to us. For instance, the rice served to us was bit cold and not warm enough, they were quite quick to change it to a new one.
