龍蝦兩食 – 有湯同意粉, 湯嫌太稀, 龍蝦味淡;意粉一般,應該無用番龍蝦本身D膏來炒,似係用果D即用意粉醬汁黎煮。


蝦意粉 – 蝦應該係急凍嘅, “有創意” 地加左蝦米,唔中唔西,好唔夾。

Iberico Pork Rib – 唔錯, 雖然有D懷疑係咪真係 Iberico Pork, 因為無應有果種肉味。

Rib Eye – 由於我地有幾位唔食得太生; 所以要求 MEDIUM WELL 然後切半舊再煎至 WELL DONE。我去過好多餐廳都好樂意咁做,不過個伙計好似覺得好奇咁。Anyway, 佢有照做,但因為本身塊牛排質地唔好(無論肉質或肉香,又好多筋),煎得幾好都無用。

最後,要提提大家, Wine Buff響 facebook寫所謂 “Enjoy free corkage when dining at Darcy & Liz restaurant”,其實係要響 Wine Buff 買酒,去到餐廳出示番收據,並要帶番收據上果D酒先可以免開瓶費,我就一時大意,無睇到 “terms and conditions”,亦無book 枱時問清楚店員,就好魯莽咁帶左4 支唔係響 Wine Buff 買嘅酒;要捱$200 一支開瓶費。其實我都有響 Wine Buff 買過酒,但即使我能出示收據;店員都話係公司policy,一支都唔能夠免,因為我帶果幾支都唔係響Wine Buff 買的。

眼看甜品櫃入面都幾多選擇,就埋去睇下。最後揀左平日比較少見嘅熱情果焦糖燉蛋同埋薑汁奶凍。個燉蛋真係熱情果味泛濫,咬落去d熱情果籽卜卜脆!好香好醒胃呀!不過熱情果係霸道嘅,如果你鍾意蛋味濃嘅就食返傳統口味啦。至於奶凍都唔野小,食落有薑汁嘅清香,但唔辣,夠晒香滑,上面一小撮cream好light,我好鍾意呀!

呢間餐廳無論食材同味道都一流,價錢都好合理,我一定會再黎!不過座位唔多,我估book定位會好d~

我地order左兩個 starters, salmon salad 同warm cheese and totmato salad. Main dish就一個baked cod 同 confit duck leg.


先上桌嘅係一籃子滿滿法包,烘得又脆又暖,又加一分。



Salmon salad 上salmon 新鮮,大塊,salad dressing 亦夠味,再加一分。


Warm cheese tomato salad 原來係將半溶嘅crottin cheese 放係番茄同一塊脆口非常嘅包上面,芝士同番茄味道好夾,入口即溶,又又加分。


主菜上場,baked cod 入味,魚肉鮮嫩彈牙,完全冇雪味,水準之作。



Duck leg 皮脆肉嫩,而且惹味非常,肥而不膩。



甜品係blood orange chocalate cake, 味道濃郁,甘中帶甜,為呢一餐畫上完美句號。


其實食完main course, 兩名港女已經完全比darcy&liz 滿滿誠意同高水準美食所打動,所以決定要上openrice寫港女人生第一篇食評,同大家開心share, 亦希望darcy&liz 然後每個星期五晚座無虛席。可惜港女太為食,亦冇plan到寫食評,所以一張相都冇影到,惟有誠意搭救,以文字高度讚揚darcy&liz.


有心有實力小店,香港買少見少,亦希望食客用行動支持,用openrice 訂台亦都好方便,同另一半黎食做下Mr. Darcy 同elizabeth又得,同朋友黎食下有心有水準菜式亦得,得左。

主菜是走地雞腿卷,由於是走地雞,皮下脂肪極少,肉質會較結實,大廚聰明地用slow cook方法處理,令雞肉變得柔軟,餡料是磨菇、鵝肝和豬面頰肉,令到味道更多完化,吃之前再放上青蘋果泡沫,中和了油膩的感覺,與及多添了芳香。

Went to the private room upstairs of the restaurant. Last time I came they still have this Russian chef and to be frank I was not a big fan of their food last time. So since the chef was replaced I've decided to try again. It was an all white wine dinner so we ordered quite some seafood.

Before I start on food I have to say I'm very impressed with their abundant amount of Burgundy glasses, a lot of so called fine dinning wannabe restaurants have very bad wine glasses and most either don't know or don't care. But that's not right, if you're in the F&B business then you should know your stuff. So respect to the owners of Darcy and Liz.

We started with some Iberico ham, a salad, 2 pots of mussels (one chilli sauce and the other white wine), also we have a baked fish. None of those was special, and then the roast beef came with their secret mushroom sauce. For me that wad the dish of the night and for that I'd come again, even if it's just for that. I guess I'm pretty satisfied and I'd come again for wine tasting dinners.

講真可能棟大廈外牆番新中,門面就真係麻麻,但餐廳入面都十分整潔,因當日大約三點左右,我們點了warm octopus salad , Scallop risotto & 佢地推介的Roasted Pigeon Stuffed . 再加free flow red wine ....(最重要係想relax 下,放下一週的工作煩惱)
首先warm octopus salad 味道不錯,燒香了的八爪魚,外脆內軟再加沙拉酸甜味,真係夏天不錯的配搭。

..再嚟 roasted Pigeon stuffed , 見到賣相ok(其實我本來就不是太餓,只係為左有飲紅酒關係Heee )一試之後,隻Pigeon 焗烤得非常好,再問一下waiter 哥哥,原來佢地pigeon 係法國貨再釀入鵝肝及豬肉釀,味道得以昇華,加上佢地free flow 隻red wine 真係prefect match , 最終我食左大半隻,再化骨,又如果再加杯beer 我一定可以食多隻

頭盤是野生的三文魚,是俄羅斯大廚自家綠茶煙燻製的。野生三文魚都呈深橙色,與飼養三文魚的質感完全不同。野生的三文魚果然非同凡響,魚香十足,難得的是,大廚於處理魚肉火候上做得非常好,魚肉一點也不乾。與用來pairing的 Donnhoff Tonschiefer Riesling 2014 味道十分配合,完全突顯了三文魚的煙燻香味。

眼睛感到非常滿足,可是返回實際狀況,本身不是三文魚的愛好者,尤其對煙燻的更不太喜愛。正當猶疑之際,再仔細一看面前的綠茶燻三文魚,色澤柔和自然,沒有刺眼的紅與及肥脂,於是摒棄固有的偏見,放膽一試!

一向很害怕忌廉,不過瞬間已被這可愛的蛋白脆餅迷住了,試了一口更確定喜歡上她!從沒有嚐過那樣清爽的忌廉,不甜也不滯,還滲出清新怡人的雲尼拿、紅桑子和柚子的香氣,加上鬆化脆餅口感,襯上微甜的Weingut St. Urbans Hof Leiwener Laurentiuslay Riesling Spatlese 2007, Pavlova Cake 的確很美妙與微妙,完全能對上大家的口味。

非常寫意兼滿足的飯餐,還未來得及回味,一班「為食友」已提早給我獻唱生日歌和祝福,實在是小妹的大確幸,雖然下月將是我的「休肚期」,大家也可以相約「為食」一番,試問我又怎會捨得跟您們不見呢?!我絕不是一個傲慢的人啊!

正如「傲慢與偏見」的金句:『對一個人有成見之後,便無法公平判斷事情的結果。』「Darcy & Liz」雖然是小店,在食材、煮功、味道、創意和誠意等各方面,均達到非凡的水平,憑著簡單的三道菜與 Riesling 的配對,大廚在平實中發揮得淋漓盡致,帶出無限的驚喜來!千萬不要只著眼小店的不足,其實也有著值得大家留意,具有實力與潛力的選擇!

上星期和幾個朋友去了於星街的家,他說在日街見到有家餐廳放滿了花籃,想必是新開的店,於是我們幾個一同前去。是一家小店,牆上都是酒瓶,店主明顯是愛酒之人,於是點了一支wine menu 上的 Cristal 2002,價錢算是合理。湯有兩款,分別是羅宋湯及龍蝦湯。羅宋湯很地道,和我在俄羅斯喝過的很似,不像港式羅宋湯那麼HEAVY。龍蝦湯也沒有加過多的忌廉去增加texture,感覺真材實料。由於有香檳,於是叫了一個 魚子醬的starter,跟mini pancakes和幾款料夾著食,味道不錯但略嫌太花巧。這個三味三文魚有分別用慢煮,煙薰(聲稱homemade的)和tartar的方法present,我十分喜歡。年紀大了,早已不再吃鵝肝,不過在經理推介下我的朋友堅持點了一個炆牛舌x鵝肝terrine 。和煎鵝肝不同,鵝肝以Terrine反而可以說是清新,一點也不膩,而炆牛舌也相當入味,不過我零願是吃燒的牛舌了。我們都是食肉獸,先點了一個羊的spare ribs,一支骨一口,size 剛好,那個 羶味剛好,又香又滑,怪不得wine list 上面有黎巴嫩名酒Chateau Musar,perfec

但要Highlight 一個叫Pavlova的甜品,又是俄羅斯的名物,不知廚師是否俄羅斯人了。質地似法國的 蛋白脆餅Meringue, 鬆化好味,如果開支德國auslese,一定好正。
這家店小但menu不小,下次可以再來,不過未知有無free corkage

四味三文魚,用四種不同方法烹調,其中 smoke salmon 及 slow cooked salmon 十分惹味!

本身不太喜好鵝肝,因為感覺太膩,但這個鵝肝terreine,比想像中易入口,完全沒有肥膩的感覺,值得欣賞!

法國蝸牛麵包也是第一次食,濃味的蝸牛跟新鮮爽脆的麵包配搭簡直是unbeatable!

至於主菜,我們點了兩款不同的risotto。海鮮墨魚汁意大利飯十分「足料」,而且味道一流!另外有紅蝦risotto混入了香濃的蝦膏,是我的至愛!

跟著是lamb spare ribs, 極之嫩滑而沒有羶味,配上特製綠豆蓉,滋味無窮!

另外,廚師推介的燒豬肉併木瓜沙律,新鮮出爐脆卜卜的燒豬極有口感,十分juicy!

甜品方面,試了特式俄羅斯meringue cake 'palvola',非常特別而美味的俄羅斯風情,must try! 

總括來說,這家餐廳無論環境,食物質素及服務都是非常出眾,值得推介!
