偶爾經過蘇杭街,亦閱過不少此店的好評及電視介紹,見裝修格局與麵食餐單略顯心思,終於到此一試。

與友人於周六中午時間不用等位,可惜普通枱已滿座,被安排到近門口BAR枱。店內裝修顏色、鏡子運用、座椅配搭以至牆壁畫作及餐具裝飾,絕對反映店主對設計的心意與品味,完全符合亞洲fusion主題。

打開薄荷綠色皮革封面餐牌一看,中英文版本前後列出,中文版飲料一欄沒咖啡可選,只有英文版載有咖啡,教人莫名奇妙。

BAR枱椅中看不中用,極為淺窄,BAR枱下方有掛鈎可掛手提包,但感覺不太方便。

友人點了“Tokyo 東京”及一客咖啡,本人則點了“Gurney 葛尼”。

“Tokyo 東京”:湯底熱燙且內含雞骨味道清甜,牛肋肉香稔細滑,麵質適中,可惜幾款無可挑剔的食材煮成的麵食味道完全九唔搭八!分開來吃是新鮮無比,但作為麵食組合則極度古怪。

“Gurney 葛尼”:湯底鮮蝦味道略甜,米粉與油麵混在一起口感奇怪得來不能接受,蝦球爽口,小棠菜及雞絲伴麵亦感與湯底不匹配。

辣油:花椒八角掩蓋了辣椒油本身味道,敗筆。

雖然麵食新意創意誠意三者兼備實在意氣可嘉,卻經不起考驗。
試一次無妨,平時寧可到傳統麥字老號吃雲吞麵。
亞洲fusion麵食可說是有形無神,言過其實,要給予一個傷心喊面!

This is my 5th time at this restaurant in three weeks and oh my gosh, I LOVE IT!! It is such a cute little restaurant with a good variety and lovely service and restaurant decor.  Their motto is that their food is all MSG-free - amazing already.  There are a variety of noodles served from different cities in Asia such as Chiang Mai, Taipei, Tokyo, Kansai, HangZhou, etc.  I personally really enjoy soup noodles, and have tried the Tokyo, Kansai, and Gurney.  My favourite is the Tokyo and Kansai -

I personally really enjoy soup noodles, and have tried the Tokyo, Kansai, and Gurney.  My favourite is the Tokyo and Kansai - especially because I love soup noodles.  The Gurney is good as well especially because there are two types of noodles in one bowl, but I do not particularily enjoy rice vermicelli.  
The service was amazing, everyone knew how to speak both English and Cantonese.  Everyone was very lovely with smiles and fantastic service in general.  

Lovely restaurant decor - clean, simple, cute, perfect.  

If you cannot finish your bowl of noodles and want to save it for later, you can always ask for a takeaway with no extra charge.  They will separate the soup and noodles for you, the best!  
Additionally, if you go often, there is a loyalty card where if you collect up to 10 stamps by visitng 10 times, on your 11th visit, you will recieve a free bowl of noodles!  LOVE this restaurant!

came here for lunch last week, i think the noodles are ok but nothing too remarkable. I love the decor which is quite trendy on the noodles i think its quite westernise, the prawn noodles i have soup base is ok, prawn taste is strong enough, the egg noodles are ok but noodle itself its tasteless, protion is good enough to make you full. Generally an ok experience.

Its good to have more shops like this, i.e. Noodle Lah near pacific place, Noodies at Third Street Sai Ying Pun. I like non traditional noodles as I really had enough of wonton noodles and Ramen which they are boring. 另一款是在下較喜歡的「Gurney」,不論賣相及口感都跟檳城的蝦麵相似,而事實上個人對東南亞的麵食,有著莫明的喜愛,福建蝦麵、新加坡喇沙、越南生牛肉粉及馬來西亞肉骨茶,全都是在下心頭好,說起來也流口水,而今次湯底質感不太濃稠,但喝起來卻滿是蝦味,熬得相當有水準,而白菜太大了,佔了半個碗,也許換上通菜或韮菜,都是一個不錯的選擇。

甜品是紅棗、雪耳、龍眼肉煮杞子,因為事先泡浸過,杞子的酸味已跑掉,入口不單清甜,而且有滋補功效,真是難得一見的用心。其實香港人接受新事物的能力頗高,整晚光顧的客人都十分年輕,看來店主走對了路。

I really like the decor and atmosphere of the place, with plain grey and light green as the major colors, and a bar like high table which overlooks the open kitchen and keeps my eyes busy during my wait for the food.


I had the Chiang Mai and the homemade fruit tea. For the price I paid, the bowl of glass noodles look exceptionally huge. The blend of sauces and the herby veggies goes very well together. And the shrimps which were halfed along with the little dried shrimps made the bowl of noodles come to 'life'.


The fruit tea was just right with less ice as requested and it's not so sweet which goes well with my spicy noodles.


A must try and if you have a hard time thinking what cuisine to eat for lunch, this is the place to be for all kinds of asian flavours you can get at one place.

白灼菜心爽中帶軟、纖維茂密、富有菜香,一瞬間把味蕾引到青草地似的,曾幾何時熟悉的蔬菜味道回來了,非常合意!經柚子醬油及自家製辣椒油輕輕點綴,蔬菜就是美得純樸!

色彩繽紛的 Chiang Mai,叫人看得心花怒放!我喜愛泰國菜,這碗以清邁命名的粉絲,盡是香草的芬芳,與及酸、甜、鹹、辣的調子,加上爽口的鮮蝦及免治豬肉,口味非常「泰國」,所以深得我心。不過不喜歡泰菜的人兒,或許會認為香菜味道過於濃烈,未必接受得來!

「FOXTAIL & BROOMCORN」本著健康的宗旨,以慢煮的烹調方法提取食物的原味,不會採用味精和任何具反式脂肪食材和油炸食物。而且麵食的份量十足,相信女士們絕對可以兩人共享一碗。姑且說是狐狸尾巴,亦是一頭心地善良的狐狸,絕不會幹出人臉狼心損人利己的事情。

One day strolling along in Sheung Wan, I was fascinated by the mere neon logo of "&" and missing of a decent shop name. Foxtail & Broomcorn is the real name (only known after research haha) - named after two of the earliest grain varieties used in noodles. As how raw its name suggested, F&B promotes MSG-free and the use of natural ingredients and flavours in food production.The shop is furnished in modern and clean style. I queued for 10 minutes to get a table for two during a weekday lunch time. No booking is allowed for any time slot. Lunch sets are offered with a discounted price if you add salad, dessert or drinks. Noodles are inspired by different places and flavours from all around Asia, that’s why they are named like “Hoi An”, “Taipei”, “Nagasaki”. Naming noodles by places also reflects the difference in ingredients and cooking method.

Noodles are in a unique and fresh taste which quite surprised me. The Kue Dadar (香蘭椰絲) I added to the lunch set (+$20) is the best I ever had in Hong Kong. The coconut slices inside are not in white but in brown (ie. Fried), which are with strong coconut flavor (more than being just sweet).

What I appreciate most is the atmosphere and attitude of chef towards customers. The chef answered to customers’ queries and discussed with them his ideas for new inventions. Having the open kitchen enhances interaction and does not make indoor air greasy.

Given the prevalent price of $80 on average for a bowl of ramen (with just several slices of pork which is nothing expensive), Hong Kong people should not find F&B far away from affordability. I will definitely go again to try other noodles and enjoy the interactive atmosphere with the chef.
