囍帖街重建之後,第一次走入呢條街覓食。呢度餐廳普遍都係走中高價路線,但係今日食呢間囍碟,價格絕對平民得多。價格平民,但係質素絕不馬虎。無論係餐廳嘅裝潢、餐牌、以至係侍應嘅服務質素,我都覺得係上乘級數。而食物方便,亦都令我地稱心滿意。先有喇沙蝦牛油果沙津炸雲吞,上枱時熱辣辣,新鮮即炸,當然非常之吸引啦。先喇沙蝦本身醬汁滋味,蝦身彈牙兼有份量,已經夠晒滿足。再加上軟滑牛油果嘅口感,同埋脆卜卜嘅脆片,口感大豐盛。另外斑蘭葉烤春雞亦值得推介,雞肉嫩滑,香草配料亦令味道層次昇華。香味唔單止停留係雞皮之上,仲滲入雞肉之中,真係非常之惹味; 而蟹黃包亦都可以一試佢地海鮮嘅質素,蟹肉份量夠多之外,亦真係食得出啖啖鮮味,而唔會有雪藏味道,證明用料新鮮。最後嘅兩道甜品,燉蛋甜味適中,質感軟滑,如絲般嘅口感,令人想食多件XD 而「飯後果」有雪葩、豐富雜果以及窩夫,絕對唔會差過甜品店嘅質素!

小隊很喜歡喝肉骨茶,而且是濃味的,這裡的做得相當不錯!肉骨茶的味道濃郁,我三兩口便喝下了一大碗,湯不夠的話,是可以添加的。面豬手的份量很多,拼死吃才能吃完,肥瘦尚算平均,但可惜肉質比較硬,沒有達到想像中的軟林可惜可惜。

Soon after we ordered, Laksa Shrimp Wonton Taco has been served to the table. They deep-fried the wonton wrappers to replace the taco shell and input the avocado salad at the bottom. Then, place two large prawns on the top, which they have been cooked in laksa broth before. You cannot spend too much time on the photos, since the wonton wrappers will become soggy.

The crispy wonton wrappers work perfectly with the soft avocado salad, the texture and taste are remarkable. I am a bit allergic to the prawns, so I only have a few bites. The laksa flavor are not as strong as I expected, the avocado salad is slightly overshadowed the prawns. Beside than difficult to eat, this is a quite tasty dish.

Up next is The Indonesian Chicken, they served the dish in a Chinese bamboo steamer. They added various Indonesian spices to the chicken then drizzled some mayonnaise onto the chicken. There are plenty of chopped parsleys to decorate the dish, they are the unmissable ingredients for the whole dish. The herbal parsley flavor can help to freshen up the oriental spices taste and bring the flavor to another levels. And of course, the mango can also help to add a bit of sweet flavor to the dish. There is no problem about the flavor of the dish, however the sauce was dripping from the bamboo steamer and make the table sticky and dirty.

Last but no least, our main course - Bak Kut Knuckle has arrived. The concept of this dish is coming from the Bak Kut Teh, which they use pork knuckle instead of pork ribs. They placed the ingredients into a small golden pot, then pour in the Bak Kut Teh soup broth to the pot in front of the customers. There are few pieces of Chinese Youtiao, I would say it is a bit similar to churro, and they absorbed the flavor from the broth. The sliced pork knuckles are rather chewy, it will be better to cook for a longer time.
As there is no door at the entrance and there are lots of plants surround Lee Tung Street, I left the restaurant with three mosquito bites…….

同三個朋友黎到利東街食野,呢間價錢唔貴 不過cocktail就標價絕對唔平。食左好多款,最鍾意就係個喇沙麵。味道好夠,不過麵有點兒過棯。但個蟹蓋真係好搶眼,雖然蟹膏就唔多。但整體食落好惹味。除此之外,個肉骨茶豬手都冇得頂。一上檯會有個火燒住,跟住waiter就會幫你加湯。我地食得太慢 湯都蒸發晒 而我地係完全唔知道個湯可以再加 同時waiter都冇打算幫我地再加。食物其實非常唔錯,而且裝修都好好。純粹係服務態度有點兒唔太令人滿意,當初的喜帖街 如今你去成只serve鬼佬既利東街。學個receptionist姐姐講:距話距地餐廳只係同客講英文,原因好明顯都係因為宜家條街鬼佬多 更何況距地一定比香港人既消費能力高。一間餐廳請唔係local或者abc做reception 做waiter唔係唔得,但唔好睇唔起香港人,服務態度都唔洗咁差既。都係個句,無論食物有幾好食,只要服務態度一差,真的不用期待我會做回頭客。真係浪費 雖然heihouse食物真係好岩我口味,可惜 今次的experience到宜家都仍然好深刻。

This restaurant offers a good variety of Southeast Asian dishes. The focus is on Singaporean/Malaysian and some Thai.
I am half Malaysian and I don't think the dishes were anywhere near authentic. If you are looking for authentic SEA cuisine, you might be disappointed. If you don't mind the dishes being 'localised', this restaurant is quite a good choice. There are many dishes ranging from Singaporean Laksa, chicken rice, Char kuey teow, wonton soup to curry spring rolls, lemon grass chicken wings, beef rendang and tom yum shrimp toast. The portions are smallish but I think it is just right for a light lunch. The prices are very reasonable. The signature dishes can be found in the tea set as well.

In terms of food quality, there is a long way to go. In general, I find the dishes to be not 'tasty' or 香 enough. I would, however, still recommend this place because of the extensive menu (if one dish fails, you can always try another). As long as you don't expect the food to be "authentic", it's a pretty nice place. I haven't yet found any truly "authentic" Malaysian restaurant in HK. Some might claim to be, but they are nowhere near it, so let's just settle for some fusion. I will not invite my Malaysian mom to this restaurant, but I will certainly invite my Hong Kong and European friends here.

The restaurant is spacious and comfortable. I was served by a Singaporean young lady on two Sundays. She was really friendly and helpful.

P.S. The music was way too loud during tea time.

囍碟位於利東街中段,單看門面會以為係酒吧。其實仲有上層,中式裝潢仲好闊落。中西fushion。中午時份,日光曬入黎。似喎似去左第度旅行咁Lunch set 選擇唔算多。菜式走東南亞方向。隨餐附贈寧神安寧茶。味道近似玄米綠茶。摻摻麵份量好多。蟹肉同蟹黃有手掌咁多,份量之多實在令我驚喜。一碗四蝦仁,每隻直俓約3cm,爽口彈牙。摻摻麵口感柔韌,好比永不熟的米線。用上摻摻麵,縱然大大碗麵,食到最後都唔會好似米線咁發脹而有糊爛口感。蟹黃味道還好,不是太香濃。炒貴刁闊如河粉。每條麵都沾滿醬料,十分野味。同樣份量很多。侍應服務不錯,但大多只講英文。

前些日子, 每逢坐電車由中環東行, 途經灣仔時, 必見利東街在大做翻新工程, 工程完結後, 大感其極似外國的唐人街, 紅彤彤的. 今次與朋友茶相聚, 步入利東街後, 感覺更強呢!囍碟門面裝修頗別緻, 地面一層有點似酒吧, 樓上則似特色菜館. 店內環境闊落, 燈光昏暗, 枱與枱之間有足夠的空間, 適合一群群的朋友聚餐.松露芝士批Roti有蔥油餅的質感, 比較油, 但不是彼得包呢! 雖然不經油炸, 但因內在油份的含量頗多,邊位鬆化, 中央位置比較煙韌, 有點油膩的感覺, 然而餡料頗為香口, 忌廉黑松露野菌的味道就如進食意粉一樣的味道, 只是配上的是酥皮而已.蟹黃包 蟹黃包並非灌湯小籠包, 而是在脆口法包上塗上蟹膏及蟹肉, 再撒上紅椒, 加強清爽的感覺, 但味道薄得很. 法包脆身, 但溫度不足夠熱, 可當是冷盤一樣吃吧! 蟹膏, 蟹肉挺香濃, 不過入口帶一點腥,作前菜不錯, 一客三件略嫌份量較少.烤豆腐六小件, 香脆可口, 內餡極熱.Mango downfall (Mocktail)芒果味梳打, 內有鮮士多啤梨果肉, 清清甜甜, 不錯.
