西營盤有不少高質素平民小店,我偶爾也會相約好友到附近的cafe小店吃個brunch嘆杯咖啡,過一個休閒恬靜的下午。晚上的西營盤,有一間小店仍在營業。門牌及店名「Just Eat」的西式裝潢給人西式餐廳的感覺,但原來是一間越式餐廳。小店坐位數量不多,座位與座位之間有一定空間,坐著不會感到擠擁。Just Eat春卷($52) 餡料有豬肉絲、白蘿蔔絲、椰菜絲等,份量非常豐富,配上特製甜辣醬及新鮮爽脆的西生菜一起吃,口感清新,多吃都不會感到油膩。泰式生菜包($72) 豬肉碎加入檸檬葉及青檸汁一同爆炒,味道辣中帶酸,令人開胃口大開,非常惹味。麥皮雞翼($38) 炸雞翼加上炸得香脆可口的麥皮碎粒,風味獨特。燒雞撈檬($62) 檬粉軟硬度及濕度適中,不會太鬆散太乾。配菜有生菜絲,青瓜絲及酸蘿蔔等,再淋上酸酸甜甜的醬汁,非常開胃。燒雞香矛味香濃,惟味道偏鹹及烤得太乾身。兩杯特飲同樣出色:蜜桃香茅茶($39) 及柑桔梳打($24) 飲品味道清甜,香茅茶甜中帶輕微苦澀,中和了菜式的油膩感。
