好多年前來食過brunch & dinner, 今天來舊地重遊,再回味🤤
紅酒牛肉仍然能保持水準!
french chips 幼幼一條,但仍然令人食到停唔到口。
今次仲叫咗risotto , 綿密濃厚,帶子嫩、冇雪味!
因為我哋揀咗beef 同 scallops, Waiter 推介fish of the day 都very nice!
連Side dish個薯仔都非常不得了~

Weekend 來個brunch ~ 餐廳又有落地玻璃,自然採光足夠👍 加上餐廳的法式🇫🇷vintage decor ,十分chillax 有情懷~ 令我懷念在巴黎嘅chillax時光~

餐廳入口位於荷李活道的小巷中,外牆的畫和餐廳內的佈置別具特色。餐廳外放了幾張小餐枱和沙灘椅,天氣好的時候在戶外和朋友飲酒談天,實在是一個好地方。餐廳內座位不多,中央是個小小的酒吧,雖然不算寬敞但十分舒適,紅色的梳化椅坐得特別舒服。晚餐選擇也不少,跟隨侍應介紹,點了沙律、傳統法式燉牛肉、廚師推介的seared吞拿魚和焗Camembert,當然不少得餐酒,隨意點了幾杯,質素也不錯,性價比高。Boy’s salad的份量比想像中豐富,除了有傳統西式沙律蔬菜和法邊豆外,還有不少煎得香口的煙肉和一只烚得像溫泉蛋般嫩滑的雞蛋,配上沙律醋,真的相當美味。傳統法式燉牛肉的醬汁味道濃郁,牛肉不會耐嚼,配上蔬菜和大量薯條,真的份量十足。而seared吞拿魚的外層烤香口和有點脆,而內層肉嫰,陪以wasabi 薯蓉味道獨特,比傳統薯蓉更好吃。值得推介的還有焗Camembert 芝士,做法非常特別,焗前先在芝士上面放上果仁、蒜頭和香草,芝士吸收了這些配料的味道,吃起來味道份外豐富,再配上脆薄的多士,真的令人回味無窮。

晚餐選擇也不少,跟隨侍應介紹,點了沙律、傳統法式燉牛肉、廚師推介的seared吞拿魚和焗Camembert,當然不少得餐酒,隨意點了幾杯,質素也不錯,性價比高。

Boy’s salad的份量比想像中豐富,除了有傳統西式沙律蔬菜和法邊豆外,還有不少煎得香口的煙肉和一只烚得像溫泉蛋般嫩滑的雞蛋,配上沙律醋,真的相當美味。

傳統法式燉牛肉的醬汁味道濃郁,牛肉不會耐嚼,配上蔬菜和大量薯條,真的份量十足。而seared吞拿魚的外層烤香口和有點脆,而內層肉嫰,陪以wasabi 薯蓉味道獨特,比傳統薯蓉更好吃。

值得推介的還有焗Camembert 芝士,做法非常特別,焗前先在芝士上面放上果仁、蒜頭和香草,芝士吸收了這些配料的味道,吃起來味道份外豐富,再配上脆薄的多士,真的令人回味無窮。

This restaurant is located in an interesting corner of Central. We found this place from restaurant week and booked its lunch to try. The food was great, particularly the stewed beef and pear dessert. Service was excellent. Ambience was good too with nice decorations, except that the tables are quite close together but luckily it was not too crowded when we were there.

Risotto尚算creamy,凍食感覺冇咁漏。而湯因為有薑,所以少少辛口,西湯有薑,但原來都幾夾。

燉牛肉汁濃燉得好入味,可以撈飯或意粉😝當然配薯條都好好。至於煎魚柳,正常,但反而好喜歡佢嗰個汁,好似Minestrone Soup咁,好好味😋

甜品了,先食啤梨芝士mousse,清新既甜,啤梨配芝士好夾,唔會漏,而朱古力蛋糕就好濃好漏但好好食,配埋我叫咗杯 cappuccino (普通但個foam做得好好),絕配!

餐廳位置優靜,以$200一位來説,不錯的lunch選擇!走既時候見到有幾個外國人坐係室外類似d沙灘椅上飲酒淡天或看書,好優閒及好有外國feel!

Worst customer service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. I come into the place on a Monday night. Worst customer service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. I come into the place on a Monday night. “Oh is it reserved?”
“No, but u just cannot sit there.”

Fair enough. We are 2 and the table is for 3. I move to the area where there were 3 sets of tables for 2. I pick the one in the middle to seat myself down on. Waiter comes up again.

“I need you to move to one of the tables to the left or right.”
“Oh, I prefer to sit here. Can I just sit here?”
“No.”
Me gritting my teeth trying to be reasonable: “Oh, is it because if a party of 4 comes in that you need to combine these two tables together?”
“No. I am just telling you to move. Sit at one of these two tables instead.” (deadpan rude expressionless face)
“But restaurant is empty and you have no bookings for these tables I’m sitting at!”
“Move, Miss.”

I didnt come into a restaurant to be ordered around like a rat in a maze. The whole restaurant was empty and these waiters were giving me the classic rude and arrogant French treatment. Zero apologetic or polite tone in how they manage customers.

So in conclusion: this restaurant is very classic French! Come here for the rude service and see how you fare with the food after. I didn’t stick around for dinner.

先來頭盤,波菜藍芝士凍配紅菜頭脆脆,紅菜頭脆片似薯片,沒有一般紅菜頭的腥味,好吃,很想買一包回家當薯片吃

波菜凍完全沒有草青味,幾乎沒有藍芝士味,只滲入淡淡的鹹香,不吃芝士的人也可接受。

另外的chilled leek & potato vichyssoise veloute, 就是平日在西菜館喝到的凍湯,香滑帶有淡淡薯仔味。

老闆好好介紹左當日既餐牌菜色材料比我知。我地餐前菜揀左 Spinach panacotta with blue cheese🧀. 佢係一個用菠菜整成既布甸,然後上面有層 blue cheese 加啲脆片係上面。啲blues. Cheese 咸咸地,夾埋啲布甸好好好味。本身睇落杯布甸唔係好大杯,但食完都幾飽肚。

然後Main我地就叫左 classic boeuf bourguignon with French fries, 姐係紅酒燉牛肉🐮🐮。利份燉牛肉份量都幾多,應該有六、七舊牛肉。味道方面,我覺得紅酒味好重,可能我唔太好紅酒,所以覺得味道還好,未到好喜歡。而薯條就好好味,因為我中意食炸物。佢既薯條係偏幼同軟,但都有點咸,如果無咁咸就perfect!

我同朋友各點左一款甜品,我叫左 pear 🍐& almond bourdaloue tart, 而朋友點左 cherry 🍒 tiramisu. 老闆仲細心咁比埋刀叉我地,預我地可以大定分享。


個甜梨撻都幾大件, 食落個撻好似蛋糕既口感咁,我中意佢上面焗到脆脆地。但整體個撻偏甜,會有啲膩既感覺。 但味道同口感係唔錯的。 而朋友叫既Cherry tiramisu 同平時我地食開有層可可粉既tiramisu 唔同,佢無咁大陣咖啡味,似係奶油,而入面係有好多車厘子 🍒🍒🍒,朋友幾中意。

利一餐我地食得好飽,因為份量好夠。味道方面我地都覺得係好食既,但就未到十分好味,可能係因為個人口味關係。


而餐廳老闆既服務都好好👏,keep住上餐都同我地有互動同埋好細心,可惜我地英文一般般,大多講thanks only😂😂😂不過去到最後,老闆主動拎張單比我地埋,利點我地覺得似有啲想人走,所以就心底裡扣左少少分。over all 整餐黎講都算滿意。

有兩款甜品可以選擇所以我哋就點黎Share。一款係抹茶芝士蛋糕而另一款就係士多啤梨吉士撻。抹茶芝士蛋糕中間嘅芝士係偏軟身亦只有淡淡的綠茶味,呢個我麻麻地。反而個士多啤梨撻有驚喜,士多啤梨新鮮,個批底牛油味香又脆身,中間吉士醬唔會太甜。

Central & westerner usually dine out on Fridays and its so hard to grab a table, especially for a loner. Choosing between sushi or a casual two-course meal, i decided to walk into tis tiny red hut again after three years. I ordered the shrimp n grapefruit mille feuille (appetiser) and pot of today (the mussels). Everything is still so good! The place is cozy, one needs not worry about the hustling, elbow bumping during usual dine out. The appy is delicate with lots of flavor, the mussels in tomato sauce are fresh n juicy (reminding me of the scene of ocean in Normandy), and the frites are just right (not too crispy not too dry). What a lovely Friday lunch for a loner! Cheers!

I was introduced by my friend to visit this petite French restaurant in SOHO. Food portion is big and quality is reasonable base on the its price range. However, we ordered too much food; we tried to ask for help from the staff there during food ordering for the best portion and dish~ yet, not much advice was given as the staff just said everything was good. Finally we don’t have the room for dessert as we are too full.

My starter was a tomato soup with basil, fresh and sweet!
The main was beef cooked with onion and red wine. The beef was soft and juicy, and the fries were nicely cooked too!
It was such an amazing dining experience. I have already recommend it to my friends and colleagues, and reserved my next visit! 😍

The restaurant is located in a quiet location in Central, the decorations make one feel at home, giving one a cozy and warm feeling. Generally the first impression is good. The restaurant really looks nice and the enviroment feels good with an exotic vibe but the poor service really makes one can't resist to find another French restaurant with waiters with better attitude and manners, we are not in France

見頭盤有Risotto,覺得很有趣。一般來說risotto都是做主菜的多吧,就不如看看它作頭盤會有如何的變化?結果是:沒有變化。真的啊,份量多一點就是一個正式的主菜吧!我一邊吃一邊為自己的好奇而感覺搞笑。這一個risotto味道其實很好,並沒有很濃的芝士味或是忌廉味,清清淡淡的,是我吃過的risotto之中最清怡的一個。露荀和青豆沒有草腥,帶來一絲絲的甜味,真好吃。只是risotto似乎太濕了,幾乎有錯覺是在吃粥仔呢,是唯一的敗筆。

with sweet Potato Chips and Red Wine Sauce 徹下頭盤,很快就上了主菜鴨胸。擺盤有點小孩子氣,工工整整的胸肉、烤茴香、炸甜薯。不過也很有小家庭式的感覺,看到再累也會微笑呢。把炸甜薯當薯片吃,還可以騰出手來玩玩手機,樂也。鴨胸肉彈牙得很,肉質也很滑,和本時自己在凍肉店買的貨色大不相同,很好吃呢。

with Coffee Cream 最後的甜品做得比較甜,要說朱古力味和濕潤度,這個布朗尼都不算太標青;但上面的咖啡忌廉卻是又濃又香,個人來說真的喜歡得不得了。

總的來說幾好吃的一餐呢,但餐廳的環境比食物更加令人印象深刻啊!

Our cold cuts and cheeses starter was very nice, as was the wine. The boeuf Bourguignon was very good, as was the duck confit burger - but the accompanying fries were way too salty. The dessert was chocolate fondant with caramel ice cream - the ice cream was great, the fondant good but the shell used a bit too much egg so was not soft as I had hoped. Still, a nice dessert.

Overall, the food was nice, with generous portions, a lovely home cooked feel and not wildly overpriced (we spent about 800 for one sharing starter, two mains, a dessert, two glasses of wine and a bottle of water). The menu could have been a bit more extensive but I guess they just try and do a few good dishes well. The service could have been more prompt and I was unimpressed but the attitude - guys, you are not in France and you cannot be rude to customers. But overall, a nice evening.
