The 4 of us had to order drinks midway to quench our thirst: The food were too heavy with salt or msg.

At this price, it is a rip off.

早前的大頭蝦宴,眾人覺得蝦肉彈牙芸芸,聽得一頭煙,然而吃到的蝦煲卻非心目中的理想之作。不甘心,隔天與老弟來試試老趙的大頭蝦,自稱大頭蝦專門店,該不會太差吧?餐牌上有著不少大頭蝦料理,焗的炸的通通不要,見有咖喱及番茄椰奶蝦煲,就要了後者「香露大頭蝦」,而老弟為人隨便,一來就選定了午市套餐:撈檬配蟹焗蛋角。老弟的撈檬先來,賣相與食味不見驚喜,反而蟹焗蛋角香濃軟熟,面層灑上乾蒜及熟蔥粒,蛋香與蟹膏味道極為合襯,夾有粉絲,尚佳地道小吃。主角香露大頭蝦,原鍋上伴以撈檬,傳來陣陣茄香,「酸咪咪」味道夾雜了椰奶香,汁收得不夠濃稠,卻欣賞這份原汁原味。浸在鍋中的大頭蝦,少說也有六兩,蝦頭起得乾淨,蝦膏早已剷起與汁醬同煮,用刀叉吃的,這個汁隱隱吃到蝦膏香,味道談不上濃郁,但以$98價錢計,總不好太高要求,它,以檬粉撈來吃唔錯,當然,若碟上奉有新德里的的Naan就真的樂透了!蝦肉草草吃過,滿有彈性,很奇妙。蝦汁吃不完捨不得掉,打包來撈飯吃,也不錯。多點了的越北牛河,材料豐富,湯濃郁亦見牛骨鮮味,卻下了味精,好好的濃湯做了手腳,有點跌眼鏡。試了幾味,總括而言是滿意的,也是個不錯的經驗。

由於老公仔未去過,於是下午五點幾去食過富貴下午茶.炭燒大頭蝦($98)--賣相不錯,真的很大個頭,燒得很香,幾大隻,亦幾多肉,可惜比較乾身及有點鞋!雞翼凍檬($40)--碗很大,睇落去亦很多,不過個底全部都係青瓜絲,份量同檬粉不相伯仲,可幸雞翼肥美.椰青($24)--非常細個,飲幾啖幾乎飲完,不過都算甜及夠凍.

真巧合,我也是跟男朋友到這餐廳吃鈑,因我跟他說想吃越南菜。他就提意去那間,他說前一星期才跟朋友試過,但他朋友覺得味道很咸、所以他想我也試試。結果果然跟他上次一樣很咸,我便用水沖來吃,他笑說他的朋友那天也是這樣才能把所有菜吃掉。他還說他的朋友為此而發脾氣呢。後來他便說說笑話哄她吃吧那頓難吃的晚餐。幸好我男朋友也是挺幽幽的!

2月1日夜晚的尖沙嘴每間餐廳都人頭湧湧, 我和男朋友好辛苦選擇了山林道的這間餐廳, 以為在過往報紙.雜誌的多番大力推介下應該不錯, 誰知大失所望, 是我吃過最難食的越南菜.餐廳環境差, 又擠又嘈已不介意, 最難忍受是食物的質素: 叫了一個B餐,炸軟殼蟹又干又咸, 完全沒有鮮味;咸魚炒菜咸到要放進茶水里洗過才能入口;炒飯端上來已經凍冰冰;唯一可以入口的只是蒸粉包;最后上的甜品, 唉, 都不知如何形容...還有服務, 加點茶都黑口黑面. 好彩男朋友是一個幽默的人, 講笑話轉移了我的注意力,不然這餐飯一定要找老闆理論!

昨晚到這兒吃了個「二人餐」(連加一$295),選了香茅雞翼、蔗蝦x 2、炒椰菜、豬扒湯河、雞絲湯河,甜品後越式眉豆椰汁撈。那香茅雞翼肉多,皮脆香口。那蔗蝦看似份量十足,原來係好airly 和彈牙,那兩碗湯河做到越式餐館應有的水準,至於那甜品真係好越式,濃濃稠稠。好味,略貴,但仍會光顧。

3.皇帝蝦煆膏炒飯- 蝦起殼切段, 但肉質偏淋, 鮮味普通. 炒飯無乜味, 只見其色不嚐其香和味.
