三次聚餐也是在這裡,做了我們的私竇了......每次也叫牛柏業,真心爽😋😋易咬,本身我唔食,因為他喜歡,獨食吃會叫的,即管一試,便愛上了..........芋角是我最喜歡的,要整的好,高難度挑戰,最怕糊口的餡.......這間不錯,最重要的餡夠乾身,外層脆口,叫略厭不夠熱......煎腸粉無得輸,即叫即煎,香口脆脆,簡單贏掌聲......餐包超大個,沒因大而餡少,足料......講起也想吃;爆碟雞札,有圖有真相,雞件再大,仍是滑滑的;最後.....雲吞定水餃加菜,從來沒想過他會叫的.......😂😂😂因爲他早到,叫了這個,重點是我到埗,雲吞也沒淋,菜仍爽👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

好耐冇見過咁舊式嘅酒樓,仲推點心車,即時好似回到兒時,好親切!見到周圍D茶客,都有番咁上下年紀,老人家都好多。食物質素……又唔錯噃,估佢唔到,有番傳統酒樓嘅水準,價錢亦唔貴。水夠滾,一冇水就有人加滾水沖茶,食完嘅碟、蒸籠,好快有人收。而家大部分D酒樓茶室,唔叫都冇人嘢,叫……都好耐至得閒睬你,尤其係加滾水,有D擺個熱水壼比你自己加水,水……未必夠滾,一係……叫得嚟,索性自己去加滾水。當然,舊即係舊,裝修及乾淨就唔及新嘅酒樓喇,不過,勝在唔洗背脊黏背脊囉。所以,呢間算係……性價比高。

新年搵地方食飯其實唔易,好彩提早1日都訂到位。本來想訂個杏汁猪肺湯,但可惜酒樓話趕唔切,只好現場再點其他。得9個人,大家新年又餐餐都食到飽飽,今餐就簡簡單單算啦。叫了個“龍馬精神” 半席套餐,再加半隻片皮鴨,牛肉芥蘭,冬菇栗子浸豆苗,1份銀絲卷,豆沙餅,炸煎堆。個“龍馬精神”套餐配搭有點問題,其中《翡翠花支蝦球》,以及《碧綠炒龍球》,都是西芹炒,攞上枱面以為佢重複咗添。另外個《紅燒海皇翅》就好點欺場,我開頭以為上錯咗個海皇羹,好難先搵到條翅其他菜式就可以接受,沒有特別出色。服務員就比較熱情勤快,好多時都在枱邊等候(我個人覺得係等候緊“利是”可能我多心)。

倫敦酒樓,歷史悠久,在此不打算寫那些蝦餃燒賣叉燒包大家由細食到大的點心(不過這裡的山竹牛肉真係堅好食好有牛味),而是推介這個每次一出爐都秒速被搶掠一空的椰皇燕窩燉奶。這食品冇得 order,只可去美食亭排隊自取,看見那條長長的人龍,真的有點卻步,不過,從來想食好西都要付出代價吧!說回食物本身,真係冇得輸,首先,它大大個只售$30,性價比高,食完燉奶,再挖埋椰子肉來食,已經飽咗一半;至於味道方面,雖然只有零碎燕窩鋪面,聊勝於無,但燉奶依然香滑,不會死甜,更食到淡淡的椰香,雖未算驚為天人,但一想到在甜品店食動輒都要五十蚊,就真心覺得好抵食。唯一要改善的,是希望可以限制每人所取的數量,當日所見,不少人都會取四,五,甚至六個,排在後面的,以為終於輪到自己,誰不知願望再次落空,又要等下一輪出爐,真的十分沮喪啊!

說回食物本身,真係冇得輸,首先,它大大個只售$30,性價比高,食完燉奶,再挖埋椰子肉來食,已經飽咗一半;至於味道方面,雖然只有零碎燕窩鋪面,聊勝於無,但燉奶依然香滑,不會死甜,更食到淡淡的椰香,雖未算驚為天人,但一想到在甜品店食動輒都要五十蚊,就真心覺得好抵食。

唯一要改善的,是希望可以限制每人所取的數量,當日所見,不少人都會取四,五,甚至六個,排在後面的,以為終於輪到自己,誰不知願望再次落空,又要等下一輪出爐,真的十分沮喪啊!

Well, dear readers, I have discovered another place that local Hong Kongers go to. That place is 倫敦大酒樓 (English name: London Restaurant). Located on Nathan Road in Mong Kok, it's a huge restaurant. It's has three floors! The ground is just the lobby to the elevator to the actual dining area. I assume this area is the reception that is open in the evening. But during the day, there is no reception area. Just press the button to the elevator. If you go to the second floor, it's a free for all experience. There is no reception. You try to find a  table on your own. Here you can share a table with strangers if there is room. Just  don't take the tables with a pink sigh with the names of someone on there. Those are reserved for regulars. On the third floor, there is a reception area to take a number and wait for a table. But not to worry. They still push the dim sum carts here but you can also have the option of ordering from a menu. Everything is in Chinese so if you can't read Chinese, then wait for the dim sum push carts and peak at what is on offer.  And there is a lot!

However, there are pan fried items and vinegar pork knuckle that is available only the pan frying stations on the second floor. Take that piece of paper where the dim sum servers stamp on when you choose a dim sum item to those stations to order. And there are a lot to choose from! It's chaotic so be prepared.

But the most popular item from that area? The steamed coconut milk pudding. Served in a coconut! You'll see the line of people going for this item. I don't think that many places offer this for dim sum and it's quite a treat!  And its only $29! Smooth and so much coconut flavor.

I know where I'll be taking my tourists friends for the ultimate old school dim sum experience.   And that is exactly what I did. Food was good. May not be placed in a fancy dish but it was hot and delicious. Isn't that what counts? Price isn't expensive, too. We ordered a lot of food and it only came out to $485.  Around $120 for the four of us. Definitely be back.
