佢賣嘅款式並唔係香港傳統麵包舖有既!佢係走外國路線,例如有貝殼蛋糕,曲奇,肉桂卷,蘑菇雞肉批,牛肉餡餅登登!所以除咗本地人,有好多外國人都會幫襯!

而我今次去到,一如既往幫襯咗朱古力麻糬條!仲記得以前係$5有三條,而家$10得5條!不過都知道而家生意難做!加少少價都冇所謂啦!最怕以後冇機會食嘅啫!

題外話,今次喺舖頭入邊見到佢有新鮮嘅火腿賣!每100克計算,單單停留喺舖頭幾分鐘,已經見到有兩個人特登嚟買,唔知係咪真係咁好食!下次有機會一定會試!

早前入西貢做嘢,時間太趕,食唔到午餐,極度遺憾😭,於是走去蘑菇屋買個麵包醫肚。小店名物雞批未出爐,唯有買個雞肉 empanada 補數,另外再加個蒜蓉包。返到 office,Empanada 已經凍咗,外皮變硬咗少少,入面雞肉係咖哩味,好香,餡料都算豐滿,可以想像,如果焗返熱佢,應該會好好食。蒜蓉包好大個,切開咗都有五六件,抵食。入面嘅蒜蓉雖然睇落唔算好多,但係蒜蓉味估唔到都幾濃,都幾好食喎。最重要係,個包幾有質感,唔會一陣風咁,食完絕對飽肚,所以雖然唔算平,但係就物有所值。

雖然近期西貢墟裡面有本地麵包店「金馬車餅屋」宣佈光榮結業,但是「金馬車餅屋」的消失,反而象徵着其他西貢本地麵包店遇到的競爭,會從此減少了一點點,畢竟西貢墟內的集團連鎖麵包店店舖實際不多。反而有些本地經營的麵包店,即使面對租約問題而被迫搬遷,仍然能在西貢墟裡面積聚一眾熟客和支持者,在沒有遊行示威的小社區繼續生存下去,最有力的本土麵包店例子就是「蘑菇麵包店」。現在的「蘑菇麵包店」,其實還是剛剛從上手舊店搬遷過來,舊店地址原本是在店舖另一邊方向的「宜春街」,舊店旁邊開了很多本土西化肉類麵包食材店和西式食肆。由於「蘑菇麵包店」裡面大部分麵包的價錢牌,都會以英文名標示,所以「蘑菇麵包店」在所難免地,需要一些熟悉中文,聽得懂又說得到廣東話的人當店員,應付講不同語言的食客。至於「蘑菇麵包店」裡面售賣的麵包,大多數都是以西式烘焙設備焗成的麵包,個人感覺「蘑菇麵包店」的麵包造型跟味道,都跟傳統港式麵包店製造出來的麵包有很大的差別,「蘑菇麵包店」麵包外型相對比較大。而且我在正式上門光顧「蘑菇麵包店」的時候,才忽然發現原來「蘑菇麵包店」,還有他們自己的隱藏「Secret Menu」,沒有標示價錢牌和名稱的麵

我詢問過「蘑菇麵包店」裡面的看店收銀店員,才知道那一款沒有價錢牌,也沒有標示食品名稱的「蘑菇麵包店」麵包,名稱叫做「蘑菇雞肉批」,稱得上算是食店裡面的招牌麵包。

而且「蘑菇麵包店」裡面的「蘑菇雞肉批」,是限時限量地製作,售完即止。恰巧當日我上門光顧「蘑菇麵包店」的時候,店舖廚房剛剛把新鮮焗好的「蘑菇雞肉批」拿出來,整批放在當眼處給食客選購。

另一方面,我再詢問「蘑菇麵包店」的店員,究竟沒有價錢牌的招牌麵包食品「蘑菇雞肉批」,每個「蘑菇雞肉批」售價賣多少錢?店員立刻告訴我,每個「蘑菇雞肉批」要賣港幣三十元。

相反地,我在「蘑菇麵包店」的麵包櫃檯裡面觀察過一輪之後,發現原來「蘑菇麵包店」還有一些塞滿餡料,味道非常濃厚,口感也十分飽滿的西式烘焙餡批麵包食品,價錢比「蘑菇雞肉批」便宜得多了。

例如我在「蘑菇麵包店」其中一個放置麵包的角落位置發現到,一款釀入不少咖喱牛肉作為餡料的烘焙麵包,麵包的名稱叫做「Curry Mince Beef Puff」。

顧名思義「Curry Mince Beef Puff」即是塞滿了切碎的牛肉,還有濃厚辣味和甜味的咖喱醬汁。「Curry Mince Beef Puff」裡面的牛肉餡料,包括預先被「蘑菇麵包店」切碎的牛肉。

「Curry Mince Beef Puff」裡面的牛肉除了吸收大量咖喱醬汁甜辣味道之外,牛肉由於已經被切碎成細粒形狀,所以這樣的牛肉口感也變得很軟腍,食客可以很容易咀嚼嚼爛牛肉,再慢慢吞嚥也不遲。

「Curry Mince Beef Puff」還有另一個值得食客留意的地方,就「Curry Nince Beef Puff」的表面不是以「酥皮」的形式製作,而是以偏薄的「脆皮」作麵包的餅皮。

「Curry Mince Beef Puff」麵包表面的脆皮除了質地造得很薄之外,我發現原來「Curry Mince Beef Puff」脆皮口感也是非常之香脆,不會太難咬開。

由於「蘑菇麵包店」沒有提供結食客,任何供堂食用途的檯櫈,所以食客需要以外賣自取的方式購買麵包,然後攜帶「蘑菇麵包店」製作的麵包,慢慢在店外享用。

「蘑菇麵包店」有另外一個值得留意的地方,就是「蘑菇麵包店」本身有向食客,提供預先醃製好的肉類,有點像超級市場裡面的肉類餸菜材料包,餸菜材料包被冷凍,放置於「蘑菇麵包店」的雪櫃裡面。

「蘑菇麵包店」裡面的餸菜材料包,餸菜材包的售價價錢,大致上只是比超級市場裡面的預先包裝餸菜材料包,昂貴大約港幣十多元而已。

但是我今次想購買的「蘑菇麵包店」食品,始終都只是「蘑菇麵包店」裡面的脆皮咖喱牛肉包,還有他們製造的招牌「蘑菇咖喱牛肉餡批」,所以沒有購買預先製作備用的餸菜材料包。

「Curry Mince Beef Puff」餡料的鼓漲程度,雖然比不上「蘑菇雞肉批」那麼厲害,但是「Curry Mince Beef Puff」裡面的咖喱味道,就比「蘑菇雞肉批」裡面的蘑菇雞肉濃厚得多了。

因為「Curry Mince Beef Puff」裡面有很多咖喱汁,咖喱汁裡面有很濃厚的香料味道,而且還有少許甜味跟辣味,甜辣味的香料咖喱汁,令到牛肉餡料的味道,也變得擁有很濃厚的甜辣味。

而且「Curry Mince Beef Puff」餡料裡面的牛肉粒,牛肉粒口感也都被加熱,烘焗至到很軟很腍的狀態,牛肉很容易被咀嚼嚼爛。把咖喱牛肉吞嚥下去後,口腔裡面仍然有很濃的咖喱甜味。

至於「Curry Mince Beef Puff」肉批外層的那一層經過焗爐烘焗過程製作出來的皮,皮的口感也都造得非常之薄和脆,是名副其實的「脆皮」。然後多塊的「脆皮」疊起,變成外層厚而口感脆的「咖喱牛肉脆皮批」。

至於「蘑菇麵包店」裡面的「Secret Menu」招牌麵包食品「蘑菇雞肉批」,「蘑菇雞肉批」給我,最大的驚喜地方,在於大大個的「蘑菇雞肉批」裡面,居然也塞滿了味道很香的烤蘑菇雞肉。

「蘑菇雞肉批」裡面的雞肉,因為被塞進雞批,然後被放入焗爐烘焙一段時間,最後成功把「蘑菇雞肉批」烘焙到變成外層餅皮口感依然鬆軟,餅皮裡面的蘑菇雞肉口感就被烤到軟腍腍。

而且「蘑菇雞肉批」裡面的切粒雞肉,經過烘焙的工序之後,口感仍然造得頗為軟熟。而且雞肉已經完全吸收,吸收了來自白色蘑菇醬汁的甜味和鹹味。

我嘗試用刀,小心翼翼地把「蘑菇麵包店」的原個「蘑菇雞肉批」直接剖開,變成兩半。我發現被剖開兩半的「蘑菇雞肉批」,裡面的蘑菇汁雞肉,仍然佔了雞批內部至少一半有多的位置。

所以「蘑菇雞肉批」裡面的蘑菇汁味道也都造很香很甜,甜味的蘑菇汁充斥在「蘑菇雞肉批」內部,充滿了彈牙的蘑菇,還有擁有濃厚蘑菇汁甜味的雞肉。

就連「蘑菇雞肉批」裡面的切粒雞肉,雞肉也都擁有大量來自蘑菇汁而來的甜味,雞肉經過類似慢煮的烘焙過程後,雞肉口感被煮到很腍很易咬。

「蘑菇雞肉批」外層口感鬆脆,內部餡料味甜而口感軟腍,真不愧為「蘑菇麵包店」的招牌麵包食品。雖然「蘑菇雞肉批」價錢不便宜,但是甜味的蘑菇汁令到「蘑菇麵包店」跟「蘑菇雞肉批」性價比變得頗高,值得下次再試。

嬲到要特登開ac寫。滿心歡喜買左Scone 同玉桂卷,返到屋企切開竟然啲scone完全唔熟,有相為證。作為一間麵包鋪,咁基本既scone都可以做到咁,令人大失所望。當心理上先啱啱接受到乜scone都無得食之後都算啦,諗住都仲有個肉桂卷可以彌補到,點知又係一個伏,肉桂卷食落去麵包既質感好乾又實,同鬆軟兩個字一啲都講唔上,肉桂既味道仲有啲糠糠地,食左一啖之後接受唔到吐返出來,唔搵水沖沖個口都唔得。真係唔知一間咁既質素既麵包店仲要昆幾多人,提提大家唔好中伏。

推門入內好似另一個世界,入面好迫,麵包架好多,又有雪櫃入面放批,最得意嘅有個櫃裝住塊大火腿,有客買時店員就切片!其實似麵包+雜貨店,麵包款式以西式為主,有啲款都未見過,揀嘅時候店員好親切咁介紹,又會比啲意見!大家似街坊人情味濃厚!客人聯合國大量唔同人共冶一爐!

Spanish Bun($5)一袋透明膠袋兩個,呢款包有鹹有甜兩款,我買甜嘅!好喜歡面頭嘅粟米粉,第二日做早餐,隔一晚麵包仲好鬆軟,淨食味道微甜!有麵包香!粟米粉幾香!我一個夾芝士,一個夾肉鬆,好易撕開!好味呀~~

店員當客人朋友,我哋兩個選擇困難嘅,又裝又睇,店面又窄,佢哋都好包容,又介紹又比意見!好nice!讚!

去開西貢真心可以一試!

今日又去西貢行山,上次試過出名既西貢咖啡店菠蘿包,因為卡路里太高,於是諗住換一間試下。openrice就search到蘑菇麵包店,睇個名仲以為佢地將麵包整得好似蘑菇,但好似唔係😂😆入左間舖,有d逼,但麵包同埋餡餅種類超級多,因為諗住帶上山食,餡餅唔方便,同埋又超鍾意食麵包,於是就簡左一個細細件既麵包,店舖入邊所有麵包,批既名稱全部都係用英文,店主好似都唔係香港人,原諒我英語vocabulary有限,基本上全部唔識,是但睇樣簡左一個好似麥包但加左d海苔既包。事實證明佢唔係海苔,係d香料,都唔錯既,包小甜,香料鹹鹹地,但係好似尼個唔係麥包掛,唔知,我話左啦,食完都唔知咩包,用咩材料整既,加左d咩香料⋯⋯建議店家加番一個中文名好d😂

Mushroom Bakery is not that bakery.

There are some good bread items: The bap. The hamburger bun. The ensaïmada. The cinnamon roll. In these breads, Mushroom Bakery's characteristically soft and bland bread flavour works well, because that's how they should be.

It is the other items -- the fluffy doughnut that is only sweet, the croissant flimsier than a Garden Bakery crescent roll, the sweet pies, any of the sliced breads, the brownies which occupy some space between fudgey and cakey and lack any flavour of chocolate -- where Mushroom fails. Since my family's relocation to Sai Kung in early 2014, I have tried every non-meat baked item that Mushroom has to offer. They are all near identical in flavour and texture. Even the savoury vegetable roll was little more than an oily, flavourless dough wrapped around an unseasoned roll of greens. 

What was most dissapointing was the apple pie. The pie is cased in a thick -- almost 0.4cm -- bland crust and full of crisp apples flavoured with only an afterthought of cinnamon. Finishing a small slice, I hated myself. I was full, yet only the crispness of the apples had given me a glimmer of satisfaction. I had noted the spice visible on my plate, yet sensed no indication of it on my tongue. 

I am told that their baked ham is good. Not being a ham eater, I couldn't attest either way.

今日係我同男朋友既紀念日,難得佢放假,帶左佢入西貢試我好鍾意去既一間餅店,好多時來西貢都會到這老店逛逛,因為佢做的都是一些比較old fashion的麵包。上次食過肉餡批,今次就來幫襯招牌蘑菇批,好香好吸引,批皮金黃,牛油香味真係好吸引,蘑菇同雞肉令到個批更有口感,餡汁調味一流!雖然有少少肥膩,不過一次半次就唔緊要啦!男朋友仲都話好食過Pacxxfix Coffxx幾條街!見到愛人食到咁開心,真係 好幸福啊!

上次去西貢唔打唔撞入左去望下,好鐘意食麵包既我見見到件件都好吸引,全部都係一d比較英式同法式既包!!好得意架,呢到有個姐姐係到切火腿,好大隻果d呢~$8-100g,而且佢都係咁話佢呢到好出名架咁。咁就買左個有nuts麵包加多片火腿,索架2x(不過我見佢切火腿果陣都無量過幾多g就直接索價,感覺不實在),而佢呢到買包記住佢地可以幫你加熱同夾個火腿入去!加熱左既包架火腿好好味,個包軟而煙x,係幾好味!!不錯。
