每次路過屯市,都會到Paul Lafayet門前,看看有沒有新驚喜。這次,我遇上Galette des Rois(King Cake) - 傳統法式帝王蛋糕。早就聽聞這款法國傳統甜點,每年一月主顯節,法國人為了慶祝而吃的蛋糕。這法國傳統甜點奧妙之處,便是在這蛋糕內會有個名為la fève的小雕塑,分吃的時候,有幸吃到小雕塑的人就會成為當天的國王/皇后,戴上附贈的王冠,有象徵幸運的意思。   早就想試試這款蛋糕,只是傳統法式帝王蛋糕通常都是大大的一個,加上當中的玩味,必須三五知已才可以享用。幸而這Paul Lafayet實在是太貼心了,有原尺寸的傳統法式帝王蛋糕($280)之同時,也提供小型的版本,雖然不會有小雕塑在蛋糕內,但店方還是會隨蛋糕附送其中一款la fève的。買回家沒有即晚品嚐,只是掀開盒子也感受到那牛油香氣,相信味道不會太差。到了第二天老公遲遲未歸,饑腸轆轆的我還是把它吃掉好了。以焗爐烤焗5分鐘會更有風味,但剛巧焗爐壞了,只好用微波爐了。這King Cake是迷你版的關係,造型不算太美,一邊是塌塌的。蛋糕面是烤焗金黃酥皮,切開不會散落粉碎,酥皮一層層的做得細緻。也許是以微波

買回家沒有即晚品嚐,只是掀開盒子也感受到那牛油香氣,相信味道不會太差
到了第二天老公遲遲未歸,饑腸轆轆的我還是把它吃掉好了。以焗爐烤焗5分鐘會更有風味,但剛巧焗爐壞了,只好用微波爐了。

King Cake迷你版的關係,造型不算太美,一邊是塌塌的。蛋糕面是烤焗金黃酥皮,切開不會散落粉碎,酥皮一層層的做得細緻。也許是以微波爐翻熱的關係,酥脆度一般但牛油味是挺香的。內裏的蛋糕微帶濕潤,有淡淡的杏仁香,還以為只是綽頭而已,其實味道是不俗的。

經過Paul Lafayet,看見有聖誕限定蛋糕,所以買了回家吃。Chesnut Gateau$45(8/10)這款是聖誕限定的栗子蛋糕,海綿蛋糕上有栗子蓉搓成粒狀,上面還有少少金箔,只是影不到,而且回到家時發現朱古力條和栗子粒都掉了下來,因為這些沒有用糖漿固定,所以我只是隨意放回,外表可能和店舖的有差別。而海綿蛋糕下是粟子蓉和雲尼會慕絲,香滑的雲尼會慕絲帶上甘甜的栗子味,到今時才發現原來這兩個味道都幾夾。Matcha Cremoso$45(8/10)這個是平常都會出售的抹茶蛋糕,第一層抹茶奶油,質感好滑,味道好像牛奶抹茶,在奶油上撒上抹茶粉,令抹茶味道帶些少回甘,提升了抹茶味道的層次。

我承認,選它百分百是為了那紅心造型,這是Paul Layfayet的經典款式。 一心以為這紅心只是徒有形相而已,想不到是如此美味的呢! 面層是細密的糖霜面層,帶來甜美輕脆的食感,一般的糖霜都是中看不中吃的,這個卻甚是討好。紅心下是淡粉紅草苺慕絲,輕滑得來草莓香像真自然,個人一向甚抗拒慕絲凍餅,這紅心卻讓我對此留下良好印象,中層夾有一層厚厚的草莓果醬,有甜美鮮果蓉在內,底層是鬆軟的海綿蛋糕,是內外兼備的甜點。

看着店員拿着大玻璃瓶,把Lemonade倒進去,再綴上一片鮮檸檬,看來這Lemonade是以檸檬原汁新鮮製作而不是沖調出來的吧。冰塊不多卻依然冰凍,看上去比一般Lemonade來得濃厚,面層還浮着不少果肉。 喝一口試試,就是很「super lemon」的感覺,霸道的檸檬香和檸檬酸,最初的一、兩確是很fresh很醒神,喝到三分之一便開始吃不消,實在是酸到一個點,幸而選配的是甜膩系的甜點,能稍微中和一下。喜歡的應會十分受落,但普遍會受不了這酸度的呢!

漫長的工作終於完結了,再一次經過Paul Lafayet。
店面的一端出現了一個Ice-cream Corner,近日Paul Lafayet確是搞作多多!
雪糕有八款口味:玫瑰、巧克力、呍呢拿、焦糖布丁、芒果茱莉花、紅莓、香蕉香醋、抹茶。
花多眼亂之際,可愛的女店員向的推介了玫瑰、巧克力、雲呢拿,並邀我試食其中兩款口味。

個人認為PÂTISSERIE出品的雪糕準是美味的,這兒的也不例外。雪糕奶味突出,每口都是幽香的玫瑰,混有細碎的花瓣,真像把玫瑰花吃下一樣,冰感較重關係不會太膩,感覺十分清新。脆筒也是難得的美味,蛋香極濃,脆身得很。至於食用花,其實味道沒有很特別,把花兒吃進肚裏感覺實在是很有趣!作為一位花痴,這杯雪糕絕對能把我從低谷拯救出來

本來,這篇是想連同Paul Lafayet的月餅製作班一起寫,然而意外發生,心情有變,月餅班沒去了。但也照樣分享朋友送來的甜蜜心意,來給自己打氣!感謝好友,每次上來都總有大大小小不同的心意,馬卡龍也是第二次了。還記得之前是LGB,今次就是賣相包裝更加精美動人的Paul Lafayet。這本地薑品牌的包裝越來越美,出品質素仍然優良,難怪分店越開越多;打開禮盒,每一款式的馬卡龍都令人愛不釋手,要先吃那一個好啊?結果這盒馬卡龍要花了4-5天才慢慢吃完,太多口味難以逐一介紹,推介的有Poppy、Lychee、Sesame、Pistachio、Salted Caramel。不過其實沒一款讓人特別失望,隨便選也不成問題。再次感謝友人的心意,也補祝她生日快樂,下週再飯聚吧~

結果這盒馬卡龍要花了4-5天才慢慢吃完,太多口味難以逐一介紹,推介的有Poppy、Lychee、Sesame、Pistachio、Salted Caramel。不過其實沒一款讓人特別失望,隨便選也不成問題。

當然, 之後就係我最鐘意既環節燒糖...燒糖其實有好多要注意既地方...例如糖既厚度, 火搶停留係每個位置既時間等等...做得好既話, 面頭既糖係應該脆...用匙扑落去會有清脆既破裂聲...
照我既觀察, 呢個女staff 落糖既份量唔夠, 燒既時候中間停得太耐, 而邊位就幾乎無燒...入盒前已經知道中間燶左, 做唔到我最鐘意既琥珀色...

平時成日經過但無入過黎食,見到個焦糖蛋好似幾吸引就入左黎,個環境唔錯,幾似高級餐廳既感覺,餐具同底盤都係即棄但整得幾靚。焦糖好脆,叫完落糖漿即燒,食落甜度適中,蛋又唔會好膩,夠creamy,整體上唔錯。

Creme brulee:敲碎D焦糖果下好爽,布甸好creamy,有好多雲呢拿籽。我覺得Creme brulee最大既缺點係佢唔識震。個木兜可以令返屋企,除左望梅止渴外lum唔到有咩用。Bailey’s dome:加左Bailey酒整既蛋糕,得頂果粒馬卡龍有酒味。有粒迷你馬卡龍係頂都幾盞鬼既,但包住個dome塊野有d醜樣,好似比大風吹埋黎既報紙禁。蛋糕有mousse、餅、海綿蛋糕三層野,當焦糖味蛋糕食都幾好食。Strawberry tart:正正常常既Strawberry tart,無乜特別,d草莓有d醜樣。

近來吃完午餐之後,總會找一間咖啡店或甜品店慢慢hea下時間,hea夠到時間返公司,最近見到paul lafayet在屯門有分店,仲有座位給客人坐,地方好開楊,似室內露天茶座,客人不多,我有時來這裡光顧,當然不是每天,這裡價錢幾貴,日日來吃好快冇錢,1個月只是來1次,上星期又去了這裡吃甜品+咖啡,我點咗意大利泡沫鮮奶咖啡(33元)+檸檬撻(32元),咖啡味道就一般,甜品就幾好吃,一直只知有馬卡龍,這裡少客人,環境十分清静,可以坐到夠時間才返公司,我十分喜愛試不同甜品店 ,可惜屯門選擇太少,只有8間左右食物水準利泡沫鮮奶咖啡,奶味唔夠重,有些小苦澀味,甜味亦唔夠,我覺得一般檸檬撻,這個又幾好味,酸酸甜甜味道十分開胃,已經整好咗,這個涷咗,味道都OK,cream少咗些小,我覺得好吃服務我覺得OK環境地方適中,十分舒服價錢65元,真的好貴番吃間中先來我覺得吃甜品是開心事,甜品在香港女生有好重要位置,人生點都要有甜品去享受人生

早前係UA個會員機到禁禁下發現左張Paul Lafayet既優惠券,平時成日經過都唔會留意,剩係知佢好多馬卡龍,價格不菲,非我哩啲學生哥所負擔既範圍。但見佢無啦啦醒張優惠券比我,一於比個機會自己一試。所謂既優惠其實只係買一件馬卡龍加一件蛋糕送茶/咖啡,今晚食完飯經過見佢未關門(收11),就買返屋企當宵夜。我一向不特別愛甜,所以對Macaron無特別喜愛,亦只食過朋友手造的。整張大合影先Mango Jasmine Macaron內涵唔同平時既忌簾或者醬,係好似蓮蓉既質感,外層薄薄一層脆脆地。味道一般啦,我預期會食到好香既芒果味,或者好甜的芒果醬,但係都冇,我只係記得好甜。Raspberry & Lemon Tart就正啦,我幾中意!一黎不嬲中意法式Lemon Tart,甜甜酸酸,無咁膩。比起得個甜字,又可以扮晒有層次咁。最重要係食完會想返尋味!杯茶我就唔多講啦,對茶冇咩研究,對我黎講就係一杯好香既茶。雖然我唔中意食Macaron,但如果再有優惠券,我都會再試其他口味。
