decided to have dinner in soho and felt like pizza, so we passed by and decided the menu sounded good. We went in and finally decided to order a nasi goreng and pizza di mare (seafood) to share.
The nasi goreng came soon and first, with 2 chicken satays a brown fried egg and a large crisp. The fried rice itself had shrimp in it, which taste so rich and satisfying. I haven't had a good fried rice in a long time! and for $108 it was definitely worth it. The chicken satays were moist with a good peanut sauce too.
The pizza arrived and it was the kind I liked - thing wheat dough with seafood and a good serving of melted mozzarella on top with little grease. It came with these salad leaves that were bitter so we put them aside and ignored it. The crust was hot and crunchy - I love it when pizzas first come out of the oven! I helped myself to three slices. One bad thing was the squid that was very hard and chewy as well as tasteless.
We weren't able to finish all the food given to us, so we felt it would be unwise to stuff ourselves with dessert too.
This restaurant has two connecting seating areas. The one we went to is lower down shelley street and they have these booths with curtains - a romantic place for two indeed. I've also sat next door for drinks before. After 9 it gets very noisy and crowded.
All in all, a good experience!
