To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 因為住元朗附近,平時都有去北京樓食嘢,今次隔咗幾個月再嚟,食物質素都有keep到,但上菜就慢咗少少。嚟呢度一定會叫嘅北京片皮鴨,推介佢嘅蟹鉗,每隻都係超足料同埋大隻,今次適逢大閘蟹季節,叫咗蟹粉炒飯,都係一樣咁好味,呢度嘅炒飯真係好夠鑊氣,飯炒得夠乾身粒粒分明,另外都有叫小籠包,都一樣係皮薄多汁。 continue reading

北京樓菜館是長輩心目中的中菜名店,然而最近的一次用餐卻大失所望,菜式明顯大失水準#### 菜式水準大跌####進入餐廳,環境仍然清潔明亮。然而,當菜單上的美食陸續上桌時才發現,這裡的菜式水準已經大幅下滑,明顯的冷藏原材料,雪味仍未去,外層強加調味,外層味道過重,裏面淡然無味。招牌的北京烤鴨,鴨皮不夠酥脆,肉質也略顯乾柴,連配料的大蔥青瓜,亦只有兩三塊,寥寥可數。#### 上菜馬得急####此外,餐廳的菜品上得極為急促,幾乎是剛點完菜,服務員就迫不及待地將菜品一一端上,讓人感覺猶如在趕場。這樣的服務不僅影響了用餐的氛圍,更使得每道菜的品嚐過程都顯得匆忙,整體用餐氣氛變得猶如在茶餐廳。而且大概忙中有亂,最後上完甜品才發覺有一道主菜未上,在甜品後才上主菜的清炒時蔬,實在失望。#### 總結####總的來說,對北京樓這次用餐十分失望。菜式質量的下降、味道的乏善可陳,難以想像這是老牌餐廳的質素。可一不可再 continue reading

一想起係香港要食北京填鴨,一定會先諗起「北京樓」,今日帶屋企人去享受一餐北京菜一坐定嗌了茶後,就即刻點左半隻北京填鴨,因為等候需時一上菜已急不及待地把北京填鴨肉加埋配料同鴨醬一拼包好,一口一口地吃,趁熱食更好😃之後我地點左小籠包、賽螃蟹、燒賣等食物,小籠包爆汁要小心食,賽螃蟹建議嗌碗飯搭配更好😃可以預先係網上到取飛,或者早啲到現場在取票機到攞飛 continue reading

和朋友相約來到這家餐廳,聽說這家是以烤鴨聞名,看到來的人幾乎都有點烤鴨,我們當然一點烤鴨配荷葉餅,沒有腥味、肉質軟嫩,前菜點了素鵝、燻魚、糖藕,東西不錯,份量小了一點,還點了鴨鬆、炒豆苗、糖醋松鼠黃魚、魚羮、蘿蔔絲餅(做的很細緻,味道不錯),價位高了一點,後來還有人來表演拉麵,現場看到了一個機器人,有意思。片皮鴨真的很棒,是要等約20-30分鐘,師傅即叫即片,片完之後 用一個大盤放好,有蠟燭係底! 夠保溫!! 麵粉皮一籠上,籠溫度很熱,應該係剛蒸好.... 拿上手還很熱😍😍😍 continue reading

2024年5月1日晚上一行四人到元朗Yoho Mall北京樓晚飯,店舖是出名 , 當晚陪同家人食飯,點了幾個菜當中有最有名的北京填鴨,出品極為失望,鴨肉凍,肉質發霉,鴨皮沒有半點鬆化,份量少 、沒有味道、接近4百元的價錢,其他菜上枱都是凍的,是否有點過份?其他菜式的性價比亦不高,除止之外,服務都不是太好,當晚消費$1800 , 但好失望,大排檔都不如,還要排隊等位、不會回頭再光顧這食肆。 continue reading
