前菜共有 5 款可供選擇,點了 Bluefin Tuna Tartare 吞拿魚他他和  Deviled Crab Cake 特製蟹餅。藍鰭吞拿魚一向以肥美見稱,而這裡的大廚就先將赤身吞拿切粒,再拌入蕃茄,面頭飾以惹人垂涎嘅慢煮溫泉蛋及鹹香鯷魚,擺碟精美,吸引人目光。先將蛋和吞拿魚粒撈勻,再以旁邊的自家製玉米餅伴吃,味道果然匹配,吃起來不但口味清新,而且誘發食欲。至於以藍蟹拆肉製作而成的蟹餅亦用料十足,蟹肉入口充滿鮮甜味,而且食落唔止外層鬆化,連入面都充滿蟹汁,蘸點旁邊的芒果醬汁吃,清新開胃。

Porcini Mushroom Bisque 餐湯方面,菌香四溢嘅意大利野菌湯,望落去誠意十足,用料亦絕不欺場,況且成品放上桌時,已經即時飄出陣陣松露香氣。立即嘗一口,質感綿滑濃厚,加上湯面放了麵包碎粒以增添咬口,為整道湯生色不少。

主菜方面,一共有 4 款選擇,筆者向來愛吃魚,加上用低溫慢煮是近年最時尚嘅烹調方法,所以決定揀套餐後,亦沒多加考慮已即時柯打了這客 44 Degree Slow-Cooked Akaroa King Salmon 作為主菜。三文魚水準果然不俗,切開後肉芯仍然呈粉嫩色澤,而且食落魚脂好豐富,魚肉鮮嫩幼滑,以碟上的海鮮番茄醬汁伴吃,更添鮮味。而老公就最欣賞墊底的意大利珍珠麵 Fregola,讚這些麵粒不但迷你精巧,而且色澤呈漂亮金黃色,食落帶嚼勁,比起一般麵條口感更佳。

至於牛魔王老公,就選了賣相夠睇頭的 Coal Grilled U.S. Prime Rib-Eye Steak。烤至五成熟的肉眼,放上檯時見形狀長而厚身,而且外層燒成一層薄焦,香味誘人,狀甚吸引。先切開一試,肉質果然對辦,中間呈粉紅半生熟,而且質地細嫩,吃起來肉汁四溢,滿口都是牛肉香,非常滋味,蘸點自家製的蒜香松露醬吃,味道更加香濃,超讚!

Penthouse Mini Dessert Platter 壓軸甜品拼盤,花款不少,除了有中間軟綿滑溜兼奶香濃郁嘅牛奶布甸外,還有口感柔滑的 Ricotta  芝士蛋糕,甜蜜透心的茘枝 Panna Cotta 和香濃充實的朱古力 Brownie,而且大部份都是一口一件,配上跟餐的石榴汁橙汁,令人吃得既滿意又滿足。據說餐廳頂樓還有觀景台,可惜今晚有點抱羔,不宜吹風,若下次再訪的話,一定要更上一層樓,欣賞維港的開揚美景。

整晚晚餐情調和服務都一流,食物味道頂級水準,食物份量比傳言和想像中大份好多好多
後來問返侍應哥哥原來Set dinner份量係少啲,我地單點嘅份量係大啲,但都未免太大了吧 XDD
特別一提今晚的店經理十份幽默和有耐心,另一位專負責酒櫃嘅侍應哥哥亦都十分貼心,佢個樣仲有啲似林德信添~

今日專程黎試試久仰大名嘅penthouse,米芝連星級餐廳,真係十分興奮。未黎之前已經知道呢度嘅Deviled crab cake十分出名好味!作為鐘意食蟹嘅我黎講,呢個頭盤簡直好似令我我琼呑一隻肉蟹入口,鮮甜,蟹肉新鮮嘅感覺,令人意猶未盡。值得一提係頭盤前嘅麥餐包,外層脆,內裡酥軟。主菜我揀左44 degree slow-cook akaroa king salmon ,慢煮嘅口感好特別!魚肉嫩滑到似果凍,入口溶化!伴碟嘅帶子同樣係慢煮嘅烹煮方式,半生但熟,令海鮮嘅味道發揮到極致。為舌頭開左派對嘅一晚,值得再黎嘅餐廳

經常在銅鑼灣活動及覓食,走到金朝陽二期亦不下數次,商廈內的食肆皆走中高檔路線,吃過數家,水準不俗,就只是要花多些少錢,今次試這家位於頂層的 Penthouse。電梯大門一開,踏出已經進店,燈光柔和,富現代感,左方是酒吧,右方是開放式廚房,面向的是開揚的景緻。留意到旁邊有個香檳角落,以白色為主色頗特出,估計有不少客人選擇在此慶祝,因此有需求。落地窗的設計,坐在大廳內任何位置皆可看到景觀,到達時正是黃昏時分,坐在靠窗座位,來得及享受一會兒的黃昏晚霞。皮製餐牌,預設酒杯,fine dinning 的格局。Penthouse 主打慢煮食物,但牛排那頁,強調西班牙式烤焗 Jasper Coal Grilled Oven 之特別做法,非常吸引我嚐味之興趣。首次光顧,看來二人套餐最實惠,已經可以試到慢煮及炭燒食物,正是我的來意。石榴汁套餐已經包括兩杯果汁或汽水,我們皆選擇了番石榴汁,這夜乖乖不喝酒。餐前麵包新鮮麵包馬上送上,份量十足,微溫,開心見到附上香草醬 peso sauce,因為相比牛油健康,吃得安心。深綠顏色,看似濃郁,實際味道不強,清香之味,正好提升麵包味道。麵包本身亦鬆軟外脆,非常稱職。

tiramisu,層次比較簡單,主要是可可及忌廉層,這個只是一般。總括來說,每一道菜皆花上心思,造型及味道皆出色,環境服務符合中高檔定位,尚有靚景相伴,性價比完全值,心水推薦!

主菜方面五選一,筆者與友人分別選擇了 Slow-cook Wild Salmon 及 Roasted Pork Rack 一同分享。慢煮手法是餐廳的重點烹調手法之一,這道三文魚菜式正正利用了這項技巧,從微微通透的肉色可見魚扒只是八九成熟,肉質仍保相當軟嫩。面上加上的龍蝦汁製作認真,除有粒粒龍蝦外,亦與三文魚味道匹配。

吃畢主菜,當然是甜品時間。在自助餐桌上有多達八九款不同的甜品供應,賣相小巧吸引。Mango Pudding 是筆者推介的甜品,味道酸香輕盈冇負擔。Serradura Pudding 則是一道製作簡單,但味道滑溜好吃的甜品。Chocolate Fudge Cake 朱古力味道香濃,實為朱古力愛好者所愛。最後,亦不要錯過這盒精選曲奇,脆香食感比預期理想。

主菜方面叫左一個西班牙烤乳豬
我唔撈男朋友咁清楚我最鍾意食呢味菜
西班牙乳豬的分量多比較多
而且個乳豬皮燒得非常之香脆
下面果一層脂肪都已經燒到溶化晒
所以令到佢下邊滑滑嘅豬肉可以包含着一層乳豬油香
而且乳豬骨都唔已經燒到淋哂
輕輕一咬都已經可以將骨頭咬碎
食嘅時候再配合埋個燒蒜頭
燒得淋哂嘅蒜頭十分之入味
蒜頭香完全可以令到豬肉嘅味道更加昇華
呢個西班牙烤乳豬水準非常之高
下次一定要再encore

最近見到銅記Midtown裝修好,睇水牌知道入面進註左不少餐廳,所以今晚揀一間率先試卒。揀左間西餐廳,一開lift門,就覺得是高級西餐,因為時間尚早,人不多。侍應安排了我們二人坐半圓形的大梳化,配合悠閒寫意的音樂,立刻有懶洋洋的感覺,而且環境暗暗的,很有情調。看到維港景色點食物前,侍應送上麵包和香草醬,麵包是溫熱的,而且原個切片上,一點也不吝嗇。不過不是每個人都欣賞硬身的麵包,所以只有我一人吃完半個,點上青草醬,挺清新的。我們點了Deviled crab cake這蟹餅壓成小圓餅的形狀,的骰可愛,餅內的蟹肉很大顆,而且完整,蟹味很濃,還有蛋香配合了香料,很惹味。另外有三種醬,千島醬,酸甜的紅椒黃椒醬,還有味道似牛油果醬的青色醬汁。Tomato cream sauce Mezze Maniche Rigate這是蕃茄忌廉汁的pasta,形狀很特別,大圓筒形,沾上醬汁,加上薄芝士片,一口吃下,十分滿足。Maine lobster tail 是龍蝦尾部。意想不到龍蝦肉挺多的,有4件,整整2隻小龍蝦,而且煮得剛剛好,不會過熟,新鮮彈牙。伴碟有些小糯米團,配搭有新鮮感,沾上酸甜茄汁,很醒胃!

呢點冇令到我失望
