而重點是他們配上是青草醬 - 不會和大部份普遍餐廳只配上橄欖油和黑醋這麼沒新意... 講返個青草醬一口咬落去的時候有種清新的感覺, 其後第2,第3口就會有種芳香的味道導致有開胃的功效.

其後就上前菜, 而我們點選的是CRAB CAKE + TUNA TARTARE

先講一下本人覺得不得了的前菜就是這一個CRAB CAKE, 其實本人去過幾多地方食.

但每一地方都有他們的缺點之處, 而這個本人就覺得真是沒有什麼地方可以挑剔得到.

因為有幾方面, 先講一下口感方面, 坊間的絕大部份會做到有硬身的感覺 (用了麵粉), 而這一間沒有硬的口感 (估: 用了蛋醬)

還有的是他們很細心的在底和面煎了, 這個做法可以保持外型外, 還可以有香口的感覺...

其次就是味道方面, 坊間有的會遍向咸或遍向淡味.. 而這一個以本人黎講不用配醬.. 直接食, 也覺得鮮味十足 (再加上之前香煎了, 味道便突出)

而細心情度的確有再度加分是, 你們細心一看, 可以看得到有3種醬在一道美食內... 可以就各人口味, 或喜愛不同口味的食客滿足各種需要

第2個前菜就是TUNA TARTARE, 這一個令我有喜出望外的感覺..


首先他整TUNA TARTARE的TUNA, 蕃茄, 青瓜比例洽到好處, 沒有那一邊的比重太突出而覺得有喧賓奪主

其次是他們有畫龍點晴的"""溫泉蛋""" - 在相機食完之後, 你一定.... 一定... 一定要將那脹脹的溫泉蛋弄破之後和那TUNA TARTARE混在一起才將那"整體" 放在餅乾上才一口吃下... 只可以說所有的東西合起來就是PERFECT MATCH LA


如果真係要在雞蛋挑骨頭的, 就是那餅 太鬆化了 導致很難的拿上手上進食... (不過強調的是味道和整道美食是好食的
)

為什麼我會說極濃, 因為他們將蘑菇打碎去整湯, 之後再加蘑菇粒和麵包糠做成一個完整的湯..

先說呢個慢煮三文魚 - 真係唔可以講少, 講得俗少少同可能會覺得我講得誇張少少, 佢地真係可以做到入口即溶既感覺. 佢地控制個度數應該真係控制得好好先啦, 唔好講話過老, 因為佢地標明用44度去慢煮, 所以根本唔可能會老!!! 而他們一定要控制得好先可以有滑同入口即溶既口感.

而講下TUNA下面的配菜, 首先有帶子, 蕃茄, 菇同 (薏米)... 真係唔好意思, 我真係知道唔係薏米, 但個口感同味真係極似薏米, 所以為了表達得更出色就用薏米做代號先


而我覺得這一道菜這兩樣東西可以分開來食和一起來食也可以有不同食法.

其次就是炭燒肉眼 (5成) - 他們使用炭燒既方法令到牛的肉汁鎖住返係塊扒入面, 當我一切的時候, 真係可以見到肉汁會向外流出.... 其次重點一說那個蒜一定要食, 如你們接受唔到種味, 也一定要混醬一起和牛食用... 這個方法更可以帶出牛的香味...

最後到甜品有很精緻的甜品併盤 (CREAM BRULEE, CHEESE CAKE, PUDDING & OERO 木糠布丁)

CREAM BRULEE - 入口即溶就唔駛講架啦, 個面層的焦糖沒有過多而蓋過主體

CHEESE CAKE - 雖然沒有餅底, 但做得十分出. 那個香口味道一值回味, 大家都知, 如果做得太大, 反而會有流的感覺

PUDDING: 口味有3, 因為你可以配芒果醬, 乳酪同紅莓醬. 滿足哂你3個口味

OERO 木糠布丁: 比坊間的香滑夠味, 絕對不會有實的的的感覺

味道不過不失。
但有一個好大嘅問題,

一個二百幾蚊的菜,
竟然係一小盅茶餐廳幾十蚊食到的咖哩牛腩。
一啲Wagyu beef 的香味都冇。
味道非常濃,
但只配上薄餅幾小塊,
薄餅吃完後就要淨食牛肉,
好口渴,
真係要飲返好多水。

餐廳環境漂亮唔代表食物可以胡混過骨。
一次就夠了。

Pasta with sausage
Rack of lamb
Beef cheek in curry
Lobster risotto

The rack of lamb was delicious - but you only receive 2 pieces which is a bit small from a portion standpoint. Very tender and well cooked.

Lobster risotto was Average. risotto was a bit clumped together and had a slight fishy taste. The lobster was a bit over cooked.

Pasta was good but not spectacular.

I really enjoy expect spectacular food when paying upwards of $300 per entree, but overall felt this was average from a cuisine perspective.

來到週末,補記上週六於銅鑼灣 Mid-Town 頂層 Penthouse 的 Brunch;事隔一年再訪,無獨有偶又是一頓生日飯,不同是餐廳已經沒有 Harlan Goldstein 金環,老實講水準是失色不少呢!去年與細妹在這裡慶祝她的生日,今年則是給 Instagram star 補祝生日。稱得上是明星,眼光當然獨到,雖然這裡的食物水準回落不少,但高高的樓底、開揚的景致,拍照效果真的很一流!星期六的中午,這裡同時提供 Semi-buffet brunch 及散點餐牌的選項。"My Brunch at Home" 定價每位$388,包括任食頭盤、沙律吧、自助甜品,主菜七選一,以及咖啡/茶,算幾抵食,就成了我們的選擇。上週真的太忙吃了太多場,來到這頓又帶著妹妹,沒興致逐一拍照了。其實這裡的頭盤自助餐算不錯,有凍蝦及翡翠螺兩款海鮮,多款芝士、火腿凍肉,還有很多新鮮沙律及蜜瓜/哈蜜瓜片。其中芝士與沙律都挺好吃,我可是取了又取的! 另一邊轉角就是林林總總的杯裝甜品,原個甜品(蘋果金寶及後來推出的 Tiramisu)、雜錦曲奇及比較特別的 Nitrogen Creation 雪糕。 也講講同行

上週真的太忙吃了太多場,來到這頓又帶著妹妹,沒興致逐一拍照了。其實這裡的頭盤自助餐算不錯,有凍蝦及翡翠螺兩款海鮮,多款芝士、火腿凍肉,還有很多新鮮沙律及蜜瓜/哈蜜瓜片。其中芝士與沙律都挺好吃,我可是取了又取的!

也講講同行妹妹:她比囝囝挑食得多,但女孩子始終較乖、坐得夠定,這天與她主要分享了麵包、芝士及少量薯條。媽媽我也開餐了!頭盤的陣容其實大概就是這些(再多幾款沙律),除了芝士好吃,沙律菜夠新鮮,其他的還好算是正常吧。

意粉不能作為小朋友的糧食,還好侍者推介的 Skillet Omelettes 真心不錯。以鐵板焗的有機奄列蛋外微脆、內溏心半熟,又有意大利肉腸、牛肝菌、Velveeta芝士配料令味道更豐富,媽媽我滿意收貨。將奄列分成6份,不過妹妹突然玩野不願吃蛋,也沒法了,媽媽我吃雙份吧!

其實這漢堡配料很豐富:橙紅太陽蛋、半融芝士、豐富牛油果、煙肉、焦糖洋蔥、新鮮蕃茄及生菜,烘得金黃香脆的包身又有香口黑白芝麻,再加上粗薯角十分誘人;可是主角的漢堡超乾又無味,足以拖垮評分了。又,很多東西不能只看外表,這,就是一個鐵例。

最後一份主菜是 "Josper Oven" Grilled 60 Days Wet-aged Prime Rib Eye Steak,金玉其外、敗絮其中又是最佳形容詞;其實這肉眼味道不算太壞,但真的很嚡又有根(我們點了 Medium),牙齒不好的絕對不要點它。最好吃的,是旁邊的焗蒜。

相比主菜,老實講自助的頭盤及甜品部份會較好。甜品約有十款選擇,最喜歡是粉紅色的乳酪杯,加上穀物口感豐富、也能滿足營養需要;朱古力妹妹就特愛 Chocolate brownie 質感對辦、甜度亦適中;而木槺布甸、氫氣雪糕等也可一試。

也貼一張氫氣雪糕的製作過程,煙霧瀰漫都幾有趣的~ 出來的質感不及正常雪糕軟及滑,因此多數配上果味,之前到訪是芒果味,這次則是椰子味,感覺清新。

今日食penthouse,諗住有米芝蓮都唔慌差啦,又有super Monday 買一送一,咁就去試吓。

Anyway, 咁既然佢可以唔使我地1人叫1個main course, 我地最終order 左:

1. Scallop crudo 
2. Giant fries
3. Pork chop 
4. Lamb chops 
5. Mac and cheese

其實都唔敢叫太多野,驚get錯佢個優惠咁就中伏啦。

食物質素方面,佢一開始上左個包,配埋個sauce 都幾match ge,食到個sauce 好似有basil(?) 

Scallop crudo: 帶子刺身配切粒牛油果同蕃茄,個味都幾fresh, 帶子都新鮮。

Giant fries :略伏! 唔知邊度giant, 薯條唔夠粗,食落冇咩口感,失望之作

Pork chop: 其實係茄汁厚切豬扒黎, 上面舖塊唔太厚ge芝士,因為佢用左新鮮番茄ge關係,而唔係單純落左茄膏,所以茄汁味都濃,但塊豬扒應該醃得唔夠耐(或者直情冇醃過?),所以本身塊扒ge味爭d, 完全係靠d 汁去襯托。

Lamb chops: 我本身唔太好羊,因為好怕佢嗰種羶味。但呢個羊佢煮得ok, at least 冇羶味,個汁都可以。

Mac and cheese: 呢個幾好味幾creamy,因為我本身好鐘意食芝士,但份量太細啦,我地每人食到2-3 匙咋⋯

仲有係上菜超!慢!明明隔離枱遲過我地黎,但佢地ge main course 係早過我地到架!由於我地仲有下場ge關係,所以最終係好趕囉,未食完就已經要叫定佢埋單(-_-)

睇番張單發現佢所謂buy 1 get 1 free 只係free 左個Mac and cheese which is 最平嗰道菜!
所以每人除番開要220蚊,但係食唔飽ge!

整體而言,呢間野食物質素都可以的,但分量偏少,性價比唔高囉,咁ge價錢,其實真係有好多選擇架。重點係間野冇咩standard 可言,優惠嗰part 又一時一樣咁,教人無所適從。

另外大家可以留意番張單有個價值$20 ge 謎樣cake charge, 研究左陣都冇人知係咩黎。切餅費?冇帶cake 上去喎。唔通係開頭個硬包?又唔係cake 喎。well.....

後話:

佢ge washroom 係走urban decay路線⋯但我唔識欣賞.... 唔建議食飯前去

其實平時我地會揀STEAK 食,但見到佢有慢煮雞好吸引,WAITER亦極力推薦好嫩滑!
上菜時其實同平時嘅無咩分別,我就即刻試我最愛嘅雞胸(因為我太懶,最愛啖啖肉無骨
) ,WA! 我未食過有咁JUICY 嘅雞胸架! (痴線JUICY通常明明只會形容STEAK) 但真係好嫩滑!所以話要試隻雞新唔新鮮,煮得好唔好食,一定係試雞胸!同場加映慢煮蒜頭,講真平時真係唔會成粒蒜頭拍,但慢煮左就不妨試試,無左平時好"攻"覺得會好口臭嘅味,仲有少少甜甜地。
