晚餐在中環正常吃飯時間是比較多人的,如果喜歡人少又安靜,收工之後漫步去到上環街市附近。令我們滿意的還有就是這個晚餐河粉了。晚餐基本上65-130左右,當然,如果牛肉河粉選擇全部牛肉等等是最貴的。牛肉牛丸好吃~~休閒時間坐在吧檯邊,一路聊著公司的瑣事,一路看著夜晚的燈紅酒綠,其實也是忙碌的中環有一點寫意?

我認我係食慣重味嘅越南河粉,但當然,我係寧願食得清啲,好過食完口乾乾到要狂飲水。

Was very thirsty after having a bowl of pho. The soup tasted good but I guess it’s all because of the MSG.The wings were good tho. No water served and must purchase bottled water in the restaurant. It’s ridiculous. I’d rather pay for tap water if that’s the case.

友人一邊挺著過年後的大著肚子向小人投訴著不想吃那麼多,那邊又說想試一家他同事說的越南舖子……所以就一嘗是也。香茅雞翼,好好食……結果是吃完一客都未夠……要再加一客才夠喉!至於春卷的境況亦差不多,因為好吃的緣故,都是要一人一客才夠呢~~通常越南店子的香菜都是限量版的,例如火X頭的就要另外加錢才有。這兒的配菜竟是另上還要是大量的,就似是小人在越南的地道小店吃的一樣,超豪邁!最愛生牛肉湯河的我倆,一人一碗是理所當然的事。洋蔥和牛肉一生一嫩,滾入熱湯香菜,還有幼身而勁滑的越南河粉,又一絕品~~以我們的食力,希望沒有吃得過火吧。😁

The Sunday after Chinese New Year. No many places open so came across this new place near my flat. Turns out it’s been open for a few months already. I love Pho, thought I give it a try. Ordered their signature pho for $88 and the two fried spring rolls for $20. Can’t say it was bad. Just a normal bowl of pho. Other than the price, nothing special. Given it’s HK, wasn’t expecting anything special but the portion is way too small for the price. After eating the pho, I had to go down the street for a Hainan Chicken Rice to be full. HK rents are high but raw materials are manageable. Although the service is not bad, attentive staff and place is clean, there are many pho restaurants in the area at $50-60 price point. Will not come back for this.

今日得閒就去上環搵下好野試下,經過一間裝修唔錯嘅越南菜就入去試下,地方細細,得幾張枱,為左慳位,有高枱比人面向窗坐,我就當然揀返坐普通枱啦。叫左兩碗粉,一份雞翼,一杯凍滴漏咖啡,一杯熱咸金桔。一碗牛三寶,有生牛肉、牛肋條同崩沙腩,啲河粉好滑好好味,但份糧實在太少,完全唔夠飽,三款牛肉都好味,唯獨是崩沙腩太少,又細粒,得幾粒,個湯好好味,係見到心思嘅。小食叫左自創特色雞中翼,好味,但完全唔似越南菜,煮法似炒,滴漏咖啡有驚喜,但個杯金桔就唔係好掂,一杯熱水加半粒咸金桔就收我18蚊,實在太貴,總括黎講係好食嘅,但份糧太少,食完係唔飽。

There were so many drinks that were tempting: avocado smoothie, Vietnamese drip coffee, coconut coffee smoothie and the pickled plum.
As I have tried many avocado smoothies before, I decided to try the other drinks.
The drip coffee was really good and the ratio of condensed milk and coffee had a a good balance so I loved it.

It was hard deciding on the salty plum or the salted lemon but they said the plum was a cherry colour so I tried it because it was different.

I was so glad I tried this because it was very different yet punchy in taste.
The plum was almost lipstick red which is so different to those brown/green ones you find in Japanese wines.

Started on the chicken wings which were surprisingly moreish.

The star of the show [Monster Pho] did not disappoint, not the best but almost the best.
I loved the light and clear soup which I couldn't stop drinking, the pho was silky but not elastic.

係街上搵緊食咩好既時候,突然見到轉角位開左間新既越南粉,就入左黎試試佢啦~細細張餐牌for 一人一張黎點餐,大家可以自選要咩配料,洗唔洗走洋蔥,蔥花,莞茜等等都問好哂,大家可以按自己需要黎填我叫左個生牛肉拼牛肋條既湯河,同枱既朋友有叫牛魔王,又有叫其他雙拼佢有d 配料一黎到就上左,跟據餐牌寫係九層塔,青檸,辣椒同鵝芥除左個粉我仲叫左個越式春卷黎試下,個春卷味道唔錯,但略微有少少太油,下次要試試其他跟住就到左重點~牛肉粉啦,佢配料份量十足,我食哂d 粉仲有牛肉係面,個生牛肉好軟好好食,牛肋條岩岩相反,係少少硬硬地有口感既,唔鐘意太諗既可以揀佢,都好好食~個湯底幾好味,我一邊食一邊配湯都飲左大半碗我同枱d 朋友話覺得崩沙腩好好食,下次我又要試下先p.s. 可能因為新開張唔熟,漏單情況好嚴重我地5個漏左一個,隔離有個6人枱同我地差唔多時候入,我地d 野黎哂佢地都未有野黎,最後好似冇食到就走埋添

We passed by this place randomly and gave it a try. We noticed they were still in soft opening.We ordered two bowls of beef pho and a avocado rice paper roll. The pho was more like Vancouver style. The soup was light in colour, clear and slightly sweet. Beef and other ingredients were all fresh and nice. Rice paper roll was normal. The sauce for dipping needed improvement though.
