I would highly recommend doing the tasting menu as you can try a bit of everything.

The burrata is smooth and creamy that is great with cherry tomatoes and rocket salad.

The Tagliolini with white truffle paste and black truffle shavings is a simple yet elegant dish that accentuates the egginess in the tag.

The ravioli with carbonara sauce features egg ravioli which requires high accuracy and precision. Since the sauce is egg based, they go perfect together with the additional crispness of the guanciale.

The tiramisu might be slightly sweet as they dust it with sweet cocoa powder but it's one of the best in Hong Kong.

The panna cotta is another delicious option for dairy lovers that surprises one with the extreme creaminess paired with the acidity of the raspberry coulis.

Pici never disappoints and is always a delight to visit with friends / family / beloved ones.

This was not our first visit so we had the expectation but this visit wasn't as good as our previous visits.Especially the service level was very disappointing. 

First, When we were seated we were given the menu that had 2 course meals & 3 course meals to choose.
All of us weren't sure about the desserts, so we decided to order the starter and the main first.
While we were having the main, we were notified by their staff telling us that their card machine is not working.
This happens so it was fine, then she told us to "go to the ATM machine and get some cash" while we're still eating our main!
All of us found this was outrageous.  At least, the person should said " Sorry to interrupt while you're having a meal, but today we're having some problems with the card machine, so we would only be able to accept Cash only etc.." There are more ways to tell the customers nicely than just
informing us like " go and get the cash now"
We asked whether they have the expected time to fix it, we wanted to know as we need to decide whether we want to go for dessert or not.
The staff went off to ask, then she did not come back. So we asked her again after 20 mins. Then another person came and keep telling us that we're yelling! I found this was rude. we're not sure what that previous staff told another staff(maybe the manager?)
If that person was the manager, I think she did not handle the situation properly.
We told her that "we're not yelling, we need to decide whether we want to order dessert or not as we are short of cash, so we would like to know whether you have the expected time to fix, then we will order more drinks and desserts and wait as we're not in hurry"
Then she goes, " desserts are already included", we told her "No, we haven't ordered the  3 course meal".
Then she goes "No, we only have 3 course meal, we don't have 2 course meal at all, never"
This reply also made us speechless.  All of us had received the same menus and we all saw that there were two options to choose- either 2 course meal or 3 course meals. 
Then we told her, " No, we saw the menu and could you please check the menu again" then she came back later and admitted.
so we ordered only 1 desserts as we already lost our appetite.

We were given  free glasses of drinks but after all this drama, we didn't want to drink all
Then when we asked for the bill, again.... the bill price wasn't matching.  They charged us all the 3 course meals  whereas only one person ordered the 3 course meals.

Seriously,  the food is ok but I think this restaurant really needs to train staffs properly.
This experience left us the feeling that we will probably won't visit again. And this is probably one of the worst experiences ever in Hong Kong for past 6 years.

I love Trullo in London and was expecting Pici to be something similar in HK!

Sat at the chef’s table watching the girl making pasta... I was already concerned, because she’s using a huge mountain of pasta trimmings to re-make pasta. I agree with avoiding food wastage, but this mountain of pasta trimmings looked like it already had a good work out before and therefore the gluten is highly strung. This was true when the pappardelle arrived, it was very chewy... we shared this dish and the meatballs (very salty) and were full, because of the gluten being over worked like hell!

The head chef should taste the food before they go out, or have a review with his team. This was a very disappointing first impression and unlikely to try again..!

If you are a wine lover, you have to order this. The Tiramisu at Pici is so much different from Tiramisu from other places - the cream on the top was very smooth and the pudding underneath was completely soaked with wine. You have to try it.

Went PMQ in the morning and spotted this nicely decorated pasta bar - Pici. Ordered a parma ham as starter, nothing really special but still taste good, but it would be better if its served with cantaloupe.

The pasta in Pici is freshly made and you can feel the difference from its texture, and bring out the taste of the sauce. We ordered a tagliatelle with mussels and saffron cream and a tagliolini with black truffle on top, both pasta are delicious but they are a bit salty to me.

To conclude, Pici serves one of the best pasta in town and the environment is so relax and chill, highly recommend you to come if you are looking for a place for decent food and great vibes.l

My overall impression is that the Wan Chai branch is more of a hipster joint for small parties where the Central one is good spot for all occasions. The lunch menu is truly a bargain. 148 with no service charge with an appetiser, a pasta and a dessert. As with last time, there is a queue at around 1 o’clock. The lunch menu is truly a bargain. 148 with no service charge with an appetiser, a pasta and a dessert. As with last time, there is a queue at around 1 o’clock. They do not take reservations either for lunch or for dinner.

The two of us went with Prosciutto e melon + Beef Carpaccio for starters. Very tender beef, the parmesan blends very well with the rocket. Portion was good for more than 1. The prosciutto was thinly sliced and the melon was sweet and crunchy in a good way.

The pastas were delicious. Both dishes were hotly served. I have had the parpardelle before and this dish beats the last. The parpardelle was freshly made (as you can see from the semi open kitchen) and the flavour was well balanced - a safe choice I would say. I personally prefer other types of pasta over parpardelle only as I like it thinner.

The strozzapreti norma was exceptional. The eggplant was fried perfectly, it wasn’t too soggy and it gave a strong aromatic kick to the whole dish. The tomato sauce was the soul of the dish. The pasta was cooked al dente. Go try it yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Tiramisu was fine, too sweet for my liking. Very smooth cheese though.

NB: When they first opened the Central branch, I had their tiramisu which had a piece of small glass in it - they offered to replace it with their Panna Cotta but nah thanks. Yes, I was brave enough to give it another try.

Also, the guy who sat next to me talked WAY too loud, they might consider spacing the tables better....

The food at Pici is fabulous!! But the service, not so much. When we arrived, there were 3-4 empty tables and we still had to wait 30 mins for a table. The hostess was very rude!!! Good thing that the food was so yummy!! Had the egg yolk ravioli which was by far the best dish ever. Just the way Gordon Ramsay makes it....
