經過同Sales一輪雞同鴨講(好似背稿既..根本唔係答緊我既問題!講到唔想買:|) 最後, 有賣既每樣要1 piece同求其揀多4 pieces...

Would recommend:
Olive oil & vaillia - very special and tasty with strong olive oil flavour
Green tea & black sesame crisp - strong green tea flavour 

Can try:
Creme brulee - a bit sweet for me but its quite special

Would NOT recommend:
Apricot & crunchy pistachio - too sweet or too sour...i dunno but its not good anyways
Dark chocolate - too sweet and creamy

To sum up, macarons from Laduree is less sweet compared to Pierre Herme’s. 酥皮係Laduree脆d, 味道係Pierre Herme特別D like olive oil, green tea etc (雖然好多都係passion fruit, apricot, etc which re too sweet or too sour for me), 所以遲D有其他seasonal flavour出, 1定會試D特別既flavours! 其他正常既味(chocolate, lemon, etc) 就去Laduree
希望遲D再買PH既packaging會好D esp olive oil & vanilla!

Pierre Herme was always on the top of my must-go-to list whenever I was in London, so I was very excited when I heard that they'll open a store at IFC. I missed their unique flavours, especially white truffle! Hopefully that'll come to HK in the winter. I got hold of a box of macarons on their opening day. I got hold of a box of macarons on their opening day. Their staff informed me that the macarons were sold with gift boxes. A box of 7 macarons cost HKD 210, and a box of 12 costs HKD 330.

I was slightly disappointed because the macarons were abit soft and easy to crumble. This was probably due to the humidity, and it was pretty humid for the first few days of its opening. (I made another visit a week later and this problem was gone.) 

The fillings for the macaron were perfection. I especially love the Rose and Creme Brulee ones. The creme brulee seemed abit sweeter than the ones I used to have, however it was still a lot better than its competitors.

The Inifiniment Chocolate Perou macaron will definitely be popular amongst dark chocolate fans. One of the best chocolate macarons I've tasted (the other would be Jean Paul's dark chocolate macaron). 

The Celeste macaron was another favourite. It's very fruity, with strong flavours of passion fruit and strawberry.

I had this olive oil and vanilla macaron during my second visit. The filling was generous and the taste of olive oil was unique. I like how this is a twist of the usual vanilla macaron. It did get a bit oily after I left the macaron out for a while.

A flavour which was limited to Asian countries is Imagine - a green tea and sesame macaron. One side of the biscuit was green tea, whereas the other side was topped with sesame. The filling was a mixture of both, so there was one thin layer of green tea and another of black sesame. This was one of the flavours which weren't very sweet, so you could easily devour a few and still have space for more. 


Overall, I can't be happier that Pierre Herme has finally opened a shop in HK. I will definitely go back for more. Hopefully they could sell them by piece, so that I could get one or two whenever I pass by.

從右至左:
雲呢拿焦糖:因爲雲呢拿的加入,相對一般焦糖更顯清香;

榛子果仁:雖然可能有人覺得不過就是金莎朱古力餡的味道,不過本人非常喜歡,濃郁飽滿的榛子果仁香,滿口濃濃榛子味讓人很滿足;

秘魯朱古力:
此款朱古力有和別家略有區別的特別味道,其實唔差,但同其他更有特色的味道相比,此款略顯普通;

牛油焦糖:
要形容的話其實會是拖肥糖的味道,但我覺得呢款同榛子果仁一樣,都是走超濃郁大滿足路綫。而且對我來說,它比JPH和Laduree的焦糖更好味(雖然目前最愛的焦糖味其實是AOKI Sadaharu的);

朱古力熱情果:
如果單買一定會買距!雖然JPH的熱情果亦已經相當不錯,但Pierre Hermé的果味更香更清新,熱情果酸得好好味,而且同朱古力搭配比例恰到好處,融合得很好而不會互相搶味;

玫瑰花瓣:
雖然理論上都是同一店鋪製作味道一樣,但呢款玫瑰花瓣,我感覺比當時日本買到的味道有所不同——玫瑰餡不夠香也不夠滑,沒有了那種完美融合的美妙感覺,香味和口感甚至反而不如香港Laduree的玫瑰花瓣味。

翻睇去日本時影嘅相,發現其實當日買嘅玫瑰餡色澤更粉紅,不知是現在香港售賣的最新版改咗配方,定係唔好彩買到盒輕手版的。

其實知道Pierre Hermé即將開幕時,我一邊食Laduree玫瑰味一邊期待等PH,打算重溫美好嘅Ispahan,結果無ispahan,連玫瑰味都好似無發揮應有水準,而且Pierre Hermé雖然一向餅皮都未很注重裙邊同精致度,但此次盒裝裏有幾個macaron的餅皮部分都有出現中空的情況,導致咬下時餅皮下陷口感不佳,真是略有點失望。

希望遲下可以單揀味道,引進更多口味同蛋糕品種,以及出品更好啦

我最愛玫瑰香味,尤其中間的餡軟硬度適中,cream狀的口感相比某些店用上jam狀的好得太多了,吃過這出品,很難再回頭啊!

這是熱情果配草莓,熱情果的酸香充斥在味蕾這點是不容置疑的,那草莓呢?原來她躲在夾心的中層,咬開後才看到,但吃不出來,因為熱情果霸度了,而且這款口感偏軟,有種很快溶在口的感覺。
Infiniment Praline Noisette
這是榛子果仁口味,面頭放上了一些榛子薄片碎,外型討好。入口很強堅果香,榛子忌廉餡偏軟身,完完全全榛子控的首選。

雙色外型的抹茶黑芝麻,意想不到匹配
第一口,先嚐到抹茶和奶香,再咬一口,看到了黑芝麻餡藏在抹茶餡內,極濃的芝麻香滲出,味覺層次非常豐富,最後一口,還有一些白芝麻咀嚼,很過癮。
Arabesque
這是杏桃開心果口味,幼細的開心果粉灑在餅上,杏桃味像極在吃杏桃乾一樣,微甜和微酸跟開心果餡的堅果酥香出奇地配合,吃罷,開心果的餘韻還在口裡停留了好一陣子呢!

這次,我可是邊吃邊寫的,因為一口氣吃完再寫的話,可能有偏差

這兒的馬卡龍索價25大洋一個,還要過海買(我是九龍人啦!),聽下去有點貴吧!但我也㑹義無反顧的親身再去,因為跟我在英國時吃的一樣好吃,而且遲些還有其他吸引著我的口味推出,我可是很期待的啊!
最後,要謝過我的好姊妹,不用我涉水又那麼快可以吃到這些美味小圓餅。
真的要在此大聲唱出「人生有個真正朋友的確好極,飲勝!」

To be perfectly honest, I am a little tired of perfectly round almond egg-white biscuits with perfectly formed feet, coloured a myriad of colours and sandwiching a cream, jam or ganache filling. Yet, when I knew Pierre Herme was opening in IFC I knew that I at least had to try the product of possibly the main rival of the reigning Queen of Macarons. Knowing that they had been open from the end of May (soft opening), I was expecting horrific lines for at least a few weeks like what we had all witnessed from the other famous macaron brand. Surprisingly, when I made my visit a few evenings ago, there were no lines and only a couple of other people were making their purchase. Interesting.

The boutique shop is not very big at all. There is a main glass counter housing the renowned macarons and chocolates, while on the shelves they had a selection of caramels, nougats, tins of tea leaves, drinking chocolate powder, praline spread, loaf cake and of course Pierre Herme cook books.

My focus that evening was solely on macarons, and I was kindly informed by the helpful staff that they had four signature flavours rose, chocolate, salted butter caramel and chocolate passionfruit, while the rest of the flavours were seasonal. I have to say that they did look promising, quite big in size with a generous amount of creamy filling sandwiched in between. I only wanted to try a few, so three I picked. Their signature rose, Celeste and the olive oil and vanilla macaron.

Rose- coloured a dusty pink, the whiteness of the cream filling was a stark contrast. When I bit into it I was anticipating a fragrant aroma of roses to fill the senses, but all I could taste was a faint whisper, almost like an afterthought. The macaron itself was a little chewier in texture which I did not mind, but I felt the cream filling was a bit much. Actually really disappointed by this.

Celeste- a mixture of strawberry, rhubarb and passionfruit. I was already enticed by its description and the pretty iridescent colour of purple brushed onto the yellow background was alluring too. It was a little squished when the staff packed it for me, but I was not too worried as long as the taste was good. The sharp and tangy elements were there, but the flavour just missed the mark with the passionfruit overpowering the other two


Olive oil and vanilla- I have always been intrigued by the use of olive oil in desserts so this particular flavour sprung my interest. I was already prepping myself for disappointment since that was the way the trend seemed to be going, but I was pleasantly surprised by the noticeable olive flavour from the creamily light filling flecked with vanilla bean seed and the piece of salty olive hidden inside was lovely with the sweetness of the macaron. I definitely recommend this flavour~

I know that Pierre Herme is world renowned with a huge following, but his macarons just did not hit the right notes with me. I am glad that I had the opportunity to try, maybe later on I will give the other flavours a chance too, but at this moment my vote still remains with the Queen.

宅女這天趁著首天開幕早一點前來, 店子由早上10時營業, 宅女大約早上十一時多左右到遲, 看見排隊的人不算多, 等了一會便可以進店了. 店子地方不算很大, 只是中央一個佔地較多的玻璃櫃放著五顏六色的馬卡龍, 另一邊的一排陳列櫃擺放了不少產品, 包括有大受歡迎的數款果醬, 朱古力BAR, 榛子醬, 還有茶葉和pound cake等等, 但就不見其有名的甜點Ispahan. 其實感覺價格不算便宜, 像一瓶果醬要HKD$150, 茶葉一罐也要同樣價錢, 當然名氣也是主要原因, 不過宅女在活動時曾試過他的茶的確很不錯的.

這裡當然也少不了有賣Pierre Hermé的甜點著作, 而除了各式各樣的甜點, 這裡也有少量非食品的品牌產品售賣, 像有蠟燭跟設計獨特的手袋. 不過宅女看看價格, 一個袋要三千多元左右....想一想還是進攻他的甜點好了.

雖然店內售賣的產品頗多, 但最吸引人的當然還是其招牌馬卡龍了! 想當年Pierre Hermé不斷的鑽研Macaron, 終在1986年推出了玫瑰和開心果仁的創新口味, 此後亦不斷在口味上推陳出新, 以獨特食材配搭創作出一款又一款令人驚喜的味道, 包括有[青檸配羅勒], [白松露配榛子]等等, 難怪被各方讚揚也被稱為[糕餅界畢卡索], 亦有[甜品界DIOR]之美譽.
這天來到玻璃櫃前, 看著一排排的Macaron真的花多眼亂, 宅女一時顯得有點無從入手. 還好雖然人多較擠, 但仍有一位十分有禮又熱情的女店員前來招呼我. 先是介紹了這裡的Macaron禮盒有分7粒, 12粒, 20粒和24粒裝的, 而每粒計是HKD$25. 而每個盒也有分款非常特別的設計, 包括畫有巴黎地標的''Paris Landmarks''禮品, 也有幾款特別找專人設計了幾款特色油畫禮盒, 而其中20粒的禮盒更設計成冬甩的形狀, 果真是漂亮得來也不失時代藝術風格.

由於這天中午有活動, 友人也同時間買來了一盒7件裝的給我們齊來分享. 宅女就買了一盒8粒的朱古力也讓大家嚐嚐.

7件裝的禮盒呈長條型的, 用上青色跟白色作主調, 感覺清新. 而且盒子旁邊都畫上了巴黎幾個主要的地標, 整體感覺簡約得來又帶點童真. 打開盒子後先見到一層薄薄的牛油紙包裹著, 打開後上下都還有一個透明吸塑緊蓋住馬卡龍, 包裝得果然夠周全, 也不用怕拿著會容易撞碎.
由於宅女跟友人都是早上前去店子, 所以當時仍是可以自行挑選口味再放入盒的. 但到下午時再去居然巳全部售清只能選巳設定好口味的禮盒, 不能再自選口味了. 店子暫時在香港分店推出了10款口味, 不過我們去到時其中一款榛子果仁巳售罄, 只餘下9款. 宅女當然全部口味都要來試試了! 但看看店方派的傳單其實還有11款全新口味尚未推出, 包括有青檸乳酪, 茉莉花, 蜜柑青瓜, 煙燻鹽朱古力等等, 單聽名字便覺得非常吸引, 不過何時推出還是要切密留意店方公佈了.

12粒的禮盒其實是較多選擇的, 共有5個款式. 不過宅女感覺landmarks的手畫地標圖畫比較有趣, 所以最後便決定要這款. 主調雖然跟7粒裝的一樣用白色作底, 但旁邊改而用上更搶眼的紅色, 不知怎的這個配搭令我覺得更富法國情調.
包裝同樣用上牛油紙再加透明吸塑上下蓋住, 待宅女拿回家再打開時都仍然完好無缺. 看看12顆馬卡龍齊齊整整的分2排放著, 顏色也實在吸引. 不過看起來某幾件中間的餡有點不均勻, 顯得整件馬卡龍上下的餅皮夾至東歪西倒的, 而且也不對稱. 是宅女太挑剔了嗎? 但就是感覺完全影響了外觀, 扣了些分數.

大爺常說馬卡龍是''單色漢堡包'', 不過現在宅女可以叫他改口了. 全因Pierre Hermé推出的馬卡龍不只是單色, 像某些口味就是用2種不同顏色的餅皮配搭起來的! 其實感覺更新鮮也更多變化.
不過這天買到的感覺中間的餡都是偏多且厚的, 有些又唧得不平均, 餅邊更是有些凹陷 (但不是人手弄碎那種) 但幸好還有幾顆看起來也是挺漂亮的
未知是否店方未預計到香港的濕氣和天氣跟巴黎的差太遠未及能控制好, 所以一口咬下去時, 餅皮中間會全下陷, 欠缺了那種脆身的感覺. 宅女對這個餅皮的確是有點失望的. 不過之後再PH的活動中吃到的又完全沒有這問題, 真的有可能是首天開賣未控制到其餅身的水準吧?

這次宅女所買到的共有9款口味, 現在先來每款都試試看:
玫瑰花辮 - 入口帶著陣陣的玫瑰花香, 濃度適中也不會太過搶味. 甜度不太高吃完仍覺清爽, 是妹妹最愛的一個口味.
牛油焦糖 - 這個味道其實跟雲尼拿焦糖差不多, 但這款加了牛油多了一份豐厚感覺, 而且甜度沒有後者那麼重, 焦糖味亦適中, 吃起來很香, 但口味是重身一點的.
秘魯黑朱古力 - 入口朱古力味很重, 但又沒有預期中黑朱古力的那份甘味, 只能說是有很濃的可可味, 加上餅皮表面洒了點粒粒糖碎, 吃起來更覺脆口, 朱古力迷應該會喜歡.
朱古力熱情果 - 感覺這款濃香朱古力配上微酸的熱情果, 雖然大家都是味道比較重, 但兩者結合起來居然又幾搭配, 也不會互搶鏡頭. 味道也不錯的.
橄欖雲尼拿 - 實在很少吃到用橄欖做的馬卡龍, 但這款一試便愛上. 一咬下去吃到淡淡的橄欖香味, 而且中間更有些橄欖碎, 加上中間的雲尼拿餡, 兩者結合起來產生出清香又不膩的獨特味道, 這款要算是宅女其中一款最喜愛的口味.
抹茶黑芝麻 - 其實PH對日本也相當重視, 否則也不會在當地開設第一家店了. 這款加有抹茶味的馬卡龍充滿著和式風味, 入口抹茶味不太重, 反而中間的黑芝麻餡味道較突出, 味道未必是最好, 但起碼創意巳拿滿分了.
熱情果草莓 - 宅女平日都較愛吃偏酸的甜品, 所以這款熱情果草莓便甚得我歡心. 最搶鏡的先是它那個橙黃色再掃上一抹閃紅的外皮, 入口以馬卡龍來說酸度是較高, 但又不算過甜, 熱情果味道突出, 十分濃香, 這款坊間少見, 亦是宅女最愛的一個口味
杏桃開心果 - 這款入口也很有果香, 不過杏桃味比開心果更突出一點.
雲尼拿焦糖 - 跟之前的牛油焦糖很像, 但這款再加了雲尼拿味道多一點, 不過甜度比牛油的較重, 口味更重一點.

除了馬卡龍, 聽說Pierre Hermé的朱古力也做得很不錯, 更有一款是把馬卡龍跟朱古力結合在一起的創新口味. 不過那款只有20粒的一個尺寸, 有點太多, 宅女還是先買一小盒來試試.

朱古力禮盒其實有分3種, 分別是大, 中, 小. 小的有8粒, 中的有14粒裝, 而大的有25粒裝. 不過朱古力口味全部巳經設定好, 不設自選的. 這裡(不計馬卡龍朱古力那有4款口味) 朱古力共有18款, 禮盒內的朱古力口味都是隨機擺放進去的, 所以也有機會有重複的味道. 小禮盒十分精緻, 設計得也富格調, 就算是用來送禮也絕不失禮.
打開內裡分了2排每邊有4粒, 上面還有一塊透明膠片蓋著. 宅女自己一個當然沒有吃掉一整盒, 也要跟家人分享的, 當中試到了2-3款口味, 包括:
黑莓黑朱古力 - 一入口比預期的要酸, 味道都幾強烈的, 加上黑朱古力的甘中帶微酸的味道, 有點酸上加酸的感覺, 但莓味是很香濃的. 雖然宅女也喜酸但感覺這個有點太強, 不是宅女杯茶.
牛奶焦糖黑朱古力 - 其實這裡的朱古力感覺較結實, 入口不是很滑那種的. 這個用黑朱古力加上牛奶焦糖結合起來都算幾配, 味道也不會互搶, 朱古力濃得來帶有焦糖和牛奶香.
燻香微甜黑朱古力 - 黑朱古力內加有smoked salt butter, 吃起來其實燻香味又不太強, 不過細味中又有點微咸的感覺, 是個很特別的配搭, 也算是不錯吃的.

一大排用上香檳金色的紙盒裝著, 包裝簡約得來又帶點貴氣, 大小其實就如普通超市見到的排裝朱古力那樣差不多. 不過這排身價當然就不一樣了. 用上委內瑞拉最出名的可可豆盛產地Chuao做出來含70%濃度的黑朱古力, 品質當然也是有保證.
拆開包裝盒, 先見一整排的朱古力用了個透明自封膠袋裝, 吃不完也可以自封雪藏, 頗為方便, 一排可以分出二十粒. 聞一聞, 有著朱古力的香味, 不過又未算好強. 放一粒入口, 朱古力十分結實, 不過論質感就未如預計中那樣幼滑. 但當中的可可味真的幾香濃的, 而且帶點甘, 味道頗為溫醇厚實, 吃罷仍會有少許香甜餘味. 整體其實是質量十分好的朱古力, 不過宅女個人偏愛滑一點的朱古力, 所以這款未能成為心頭愛.

在這裡併一次就放下了HKD$640大元, 果真是不便宜.
感覺這裡的馬卡龍口感沒有Ladurée的好, 但味道方面就稍勝一籌. 希望店方可以再遷就一下香港的天氣而改良一下, 就會更完美了.
而朱古力雖然質量也不差, 但試過後感覺仍是會來光顧馬卡龍比較多.
期待店方陸續會推出的時令口味, 希望到時再來排隊人龍不會那麼長吧!

Huile D’Olive & Vanilla 橄欖雲呢拿: 9分, 是日能夠試到店方的四款macarons, 這裡的macarons外型飽滿, 質感是相當鬆脆, 面層夠薄, 中間的部份濕潤度對辦, 賣相精緻. 先來的是橄欖雲呢拿, 除了雲尼拿之外, 更加入了橄欖碎, 兩者的平衡是做得相當不錯, 不會太甜, 精彩.

Infiniment Caramel 牛油焦糖: 9分, 接下來試的是牛油焦糖味, 一向我也很喜歡焦糖味道的甜品, 是日吃到的, 焦糖味道突出, 加上macarons本身是相當高水準, 配合起來自然就是我很喜歡的甜點.

Mogador 朱古力熱情果: 9分: 最後試的就是朱古力熱情果, 用上了牛奶朱古力, 朱古力味道本身是幾濃烈的, 配上帶點選酸味的熱情果, 兩者的配合正好起了很好的中和作用.

Infiniment Vanille 雲尼拿黑朱古力: 9分, 除了macarons, 香港店也有朱古力的供應, 是日先試的是雲尼拿黑朱古力, 既然用上了黑朱古力, 味道當然是相當濃烈, 帶點點苦澀, 不過加入了雲尼拿之後, 那份甜味就能夠平衡了黑朱古力的味道, 令人滿意.

LOU 甜薑牛奶朱古力: 8分, 另外一款朱古力就是LOU, 即是甜薑牛奶朱古力, 會是比較有個性的一款朱古力, 除了牛奶朱古力的味道之外, 更特別加入了甜薑, 但味道不會太搶, 還能夠保留到牛奶朱古力的甜味. 大家要留意的是以上幾款macarons以及朱古力皆能夠在香港的ifc分店選購得到.

Vanille Millefeuille: 9分, 聚會的下一部份就是試試幾款在香港分店還未有供應的甜點, 先來的是Vanille Millefeuille, 即場製作的拿破崙, 質感自然是相當的鬆脆, 咬落口是能夠感受到那份鬆化的感覺. 配上面頭的雲尼拿忌廉是相當香滑, 能夠吃到這客拿破崙, 就像一起去經歷幸福的感覺.

Choux Puff: 9分, 接下來的堂弄甜點就是Choux Puff, puff本身的質感是相當鬆化的, 配上檸檬忌廉, 鮮檸檬以及檸檬脆餅, 一道小小的甜品, 巧妙的去把檸檬的幾個不同的層次演譯出來.

Chocolate and Hazelnut Mousse: 9分, 不過相比之下, 我會更加喜愛朱古力榛子慕絲, 或許此客甜點的甜度是比較高, 但朱古力跟榛子之間的化學作用是更加明顯, 那份甜美的感覺, 真是教人愛不惜手.

Jardin De Pierre: 9分, 吃完甜點, 如果能夠喝杯茶就是最完美的方法去作為結束, 是日大會就供應了Pierre Hermé的自家花茶, 先試的是Jardin De Pierre, 巧妙的把茉莉, 玫瑰以及紫羅蘭結合而成, 相當的清香, 女孩子們吃完甜點, 喝杯茶消消滯, 真是理想.

Ceremonie: 8分, 另外一款茶就是Ceremonie, 成份包括有杏仁, 小豆蔻, 茉莉, 會是味道比較濃一點的選擇, 帶點杏香, 跟茉莉的組合實在是幾有趣的.

另外, 大會也展示了Pierre Hermé的不同產品, 單計賣相, 已經是相當吸引.

整體來講, Pierre Hermé的macarons實在是有相當高的水準, 而朱古力也是另外一個不能錯過的項目. 除此之外, 自家花茶會是甜點之外的一個驚喜位. 愛吃甜點的你, 還不快快前往ifc朝聖一番!

當然, 我更希望Pierre Hermé的下一家分店能夠供應Ispahan吧.

另一個著名法式甜品店Pierre Herme也終於落戶香港了!在25/05才正式在IFC(國金)正式開幕呢!見到友人都在開店當日就買來了馬卡龍品嚐,愛嚐新品的我當然也不會放過這個機會…正好是夜要和我兩位好姐妹晚餐,就買一盒大家分吃就好啦! 店中陳設相對簡單,除了Macarons同時也有茶葉,巧克力,果醬等出售!店外已有職員在歡迎!又不如老三所言要排隊,店中有幾位客人,我一進店就可以買到了!12個裝($330)有3種包裝,隨意買了一盒12個,都是是日口味,共6款每款2件! 與2位妹妹共享,隨手拿了2件 ,第一件是焦糖口味的!kc兄曾說過焦糖邪惡的味道,無論配什麼都好吃的!這個macaron好像是焦糖鹽味?吃下口感不錯,而焦糖醬也沒有過甜,唯一是口感沒有那適度的濕潤感,也欠了點點的煙韧!也可說是相當具水準的製作了! 再來一個是榛子口味,這個嗅到極濃的榛子味道,吃也味道香甜不會人工,同時表面也有點榛子顆粒!口感相對較單一macarons來得不一樣!不過有趣的是,這個的口感略比焦糖口味的煙韧!!!雖說不上是我吃過最喜愛的,不過整體水準不錯,不可以自己點口味也不要緊,最重要是兩位妹妹也喜歡吃

與2位妹妹共享,隨手拿了2件 ,第一件是焦糖口味的!kc兄曾說過焦糖邪惡的味道,無論配什麼都好吃的!這個macaron好像是焦糖鹽味?吃下口感不錯,而焦糖醬也沒有過甜,唯一是口感沒有那適度的濕潤感,也欠了點點的煙韧!也可說是相當具水準的製作了!

再來一個是榛子口味,這個嗅到極濃的榛子味道,吃也味道香甜不會人工,同時表面也有點榛子顆粒!口感相對較單一macarons來得不一樣!不過有趣的是,這個的口感略比焦糖口味的煙韧!!!

雖說不上是我吃過最喜愛的,不過整體水準不錯,不可以自己點口味也不要緊,最重要是兩位妹妹也喜歡吃,那對我而言才是我最重要的!

28日才發現PH大師香港開店了,按耐不住立刻前來。完全不用排隊喔。這間店售賣macaron,朱古力,幾款pound cake和茶葉,沒有其他pastries有點失望。買了一盒12件裝的,我選了2件Olive oil,Vanilla&Slices of green olive,2件Matcha green tea&Black sesame crisp,2件Rose&Rose petal,2件Apricot&Crunchy pistachio,以及Salted-butter Caramel,Peruvian dark chocolate,Milk chocolate&Passion fruit,Passion fruit&Strawberry各1件。店員說可以存放4天,平均每天要吃3件,對我來說有點多啊= =比較喜歡的是牛油焦糖和抹茶黑芝麻,焦糖香與芝麻味都很濃郁。橄欖雲呢拿和朱古力熱情果也不錯。不推薦秘魯黑朱古力。他們的內陷都很柔滑,前提是要放置到常溫後再吃。我沒有很愛macaron,但是PH的口味都很特別,接下來還會有蜜柑青瓜,煙薰鹽朱古力等口味出现,也一定要再来尝试。橄欖雲呢拿-榛子

I wanted to dedicate this review to your macarons, (and of course your goodself) for you have once again proven that there is no macaron producer who could possibly wow me and sweep me off my feet quite like you do - I was sooo swooned by the first one I ate from the Hong Kong store, I forgot, FORGOT! to take photos. I may or may not be a reviewer noob, but such a rookie mistake is not to be excusable. Ah well, such is the power of your macarons, je suppose!

Néanmoins, imma try and review what I remember from the 7-piece box I ate on the day:

1. L'huile olive - I must profess I'm not the biggest fan of eating my EVOO straight up from the bottle, whether it be on poured top of cooked dishes or drizzled over salads. This one however, evoked an image of a fresh fruity field of green. It was simple, beautiful and yummy with no sense of stodginess whatsoever. If there's one thing in the world that just made me rethink my EVOO, it would be this delicate beauty.

2. Ispahan rose - oh quelle beauté! Never have I ever thought a macaron could be so beautfiully light and flavourful, without a single guilty afterthought. Imagine jumping on a light trampoline in the midst of a jammy rose pool at the Mandarin Oriental with clotted cream clouds around me to break my fall. Nope, not hallucinating, just UBER light and delicate mariage de goûts! Hats off to u Sir!

3. Strawberry, rhubarb and passionfruit - another winner of a mélanged flavours! Each element was as sharp on their own, as they were when combined to create a harmonious melody of a new flavour altogether.

4. Passionfruit and dark chocolate ganache: the tangy passionfruit cut thru the smooth, velvety ganache of chocolate to give a sharp balance to the otherwise heavy chocolate. 100% again on the flavour balance!

5. Green tea and black sesame - this was recommended by the staff on the day, as I wouldn't have chosen it otherwise, for fear of green tea giving way to an artificial flavour akin to eating a rubber eraser. (not that I ever tried to taste one, but the flavour does evoke certain connotations...!) However, I was glad to note that not only was there no eraser, the sesame did an awesomefab job cutting thru the bitterness of the tea, creating a very uniquely Asian flavour profile without losing its French roots.

6. Caramel and then some - The last piece I remember eating was the Infinément Caramel piece that was packaged into their classic 7-piece box (more on that later!). What's there to say about this one, you ask?! Surely you'd be able to guess - it was another piece of perfection from box to mouth. *yawn* predictably boring huh? ;)

7. Confession: I didn't eat the final chocolate-y piece, rather I had offered it to my friend on the day. She of course dutifully noted the explosion of rich chocolate flavours in her mouth, no with no unpleasant stodginess to speak of. She was floored, and so was I for being an awesomefab fren with gd, generous taste. ;) (in macarons at least...!)

All in all, I was a bit disappointed to find that the macarons would not be sold individually, but rather, in their pre-boxed sets on the day of their soft opening. However, this was expected to change in the coming week as the store officially opened. Brownie point for the Hermé team for being such awesomefab sales!
Not only were they polite and patient, the girlie who wrapped my box was really helpful when listening and responding to my many queries and comments.

One more random note, I previously tried their chocolate bars in Paris back in the day, as I was lining up for their macarons (just coz they are that famous, even in France!) and I figured a bit of choc wouldn't be a bad bet. I was right. Fast forward approx 5 yrs, and I found myself walking out of the HK store with a tablet of dark fleur du sel chocolate! MMMMM. no words. just... creamy rich overload! CHOCOLAT, JE T'AIME.

In the meantime, imma be planning my schedule around Central, in hopes of *passing by* The store ever so casually to pick up another box (or 4). Uh oh... o.O

家人則力推綠茶芝麻,秘魯黑朱古力及朱古力熱情果,全因內餡味道鮮明,個性突出。
總的來說,仍較偏愛像法國名媛淑女般細膩可人的Laduree出品。
Other Info. : 期待品嚐Ispahan玫瑰紅果子乳酪口味。
