約會提到想吃牛扒,所以來吃晚飯提前預約,所以直接報上名字便被領到位置,餐廳基本上只有五成客人,所以空間很足夠。是經典的美式餐廳,舒適、經典、優雅,可能人不多,有種安靜的氛圍,木系為主也讓人很溫暖,一進去便有準備開餐的想法坐下來有負責的侍應自我介紹,不算特別優質的服務,不過總體是滿意、合格的兩份set dinner不過不失,對於當晚很想吃牛扒的我給80分,side dish的芝士菠菜偏膩而且淡,mushrooms 有蘑菇和冬菇,偏咸牛扒點5分熟,基本上拿捏得到,品質也是普普通通,CP值偏中下,但份量很足,12oz真的很飽點了Mini cheese cake和雲呢拿雪糕做甜品,芝士蛋糕旁邊的朱古力比芝士蛋糕本身更好吃😆已約會來講還不錯,但是還是覺得性價比偏中下

坐下來有負責的侍應自我介紹,不算特別優質的服務,不過總體是滿意、合格的

兩份set dinner不過不失,對於當晚很想吃牛扒的我給80分,side dish的芝士菠菜偏膩而且淡,mushrooms 有蘑菇和冬菇,偏咸

牛扒點5分熟,基本上拿捏得到,品質也是普普通通,CP值偏中下,但份量很足,12oz真的很飽

點了Mini cheese cake和雲呢拿雪糕做甜品,芝士蛋糕旁邊的朱古力比芝士蛋糕本身更好吃😆

已約會來講還不錯,但是還是覺得性價比偏中下

蟹餅同坊間嗰啲好唔同,一般都係落麵粉炸或者blend爛晒居多,但呢啲既蟹餅好特別,用上藍蟹🥰每一啖都會食到一絲絲既蟹肉,蟹肉鮮甜又彈性,口感好厚實之餘又無麵粉味,非常之真材實料!而且隻碟好夠熱,可以確保你食到最尾都係熱辣辣🔥特製既檸檬牛油可以中和膩口,令入口更加清爽開胃。一人一件作為starter岩岩好!

叫左16oz medium rare兩個人分享👯‍♀️侍應會打開一張小摺檯,再將牛扒平分放係充滿melted butter既熱碟上,香噴噴既牛油加埋鐵板既咋咋聲,令人胃口大開!
牛扒肉質中上,有小小筋影響咬口,不過唔太影響嚼勁。牛味香濃突出,連肥膏一齊食好重脂香🤭肉本身叫三成,被熱碟烘至五成熟,估唔到肉味仲明顯,將所有肉汁鎖住更鮮嫩juicy!

Dinner for 4: $2,897
- Crab cakes (7/10)
- Oyster Rockefeller (4/10)
- Tuna steak (7/10)
- BBQ shrimp (5/10)
- 16oz strip loin (5/10)
- Sautéed spinach, wild mushrooms (5/10)

Overall all dishes were overwhelmingly flavoured with garlic. Luckily oysters were masked with cheese and spinach, as there were only small broken pieces of oyster meat which did not taste fresh at all. BBQ shrimp was described as “jumbo” but turned out the size of small prawns.

Disappointing that the steak came well done (asked for medium), tough, and again looked like it had been frozen for too long. Sides are usually safe but both spinach and mushroom tasted the same - garlic.

Having said that, servers remain friendly and welcoming. For a not full house, they have become quite slow and we were often left without glasses refilled and it needed 15 minutes just to get the bill.

Overall disappointing, will not be back.

T-bone steak有兩種不同嘅肉質,由肋骨同脊骨形成嘅牛扒。呢款牛扒特別係有啲肥,但係呢啲脂肪係會經過煮熟嘅過程而融化,令到肉質更加鮮嫩。經過精心嘅烹調,一邊口感腍滑,另一邊嘅充滿質感,十分出色。


最後,試咗芝士蛋糕做甜品!Cheesecake 味道超濃郁,質地好滑嫩,口感唔會太甜,微酸。Perfect ending 🍰


餐廳服務亦十分周到,經理健談又風趣,令我哋有一個愉快又滿足嘅用餐體驗。

It is a tradition for celebrating a special occasion at this restaurant every year. Picking this restaurant not only because of the atmosphere and the guaranteed quality, it's the memory here and wanting to keep creating another one.

Having a seat beside the window with the old school interior, friendly staff welcomed us politely and as usual introducing their menu.

We ordered the mushroom stuffed with crabmeat, medium rare 12 ounce ribeye steak, with two sides of lyonnaise potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts.

First came was the bread here. It would never be a disappointment. Just you could tell the crunchy crust from its look. Spreading with the spreadable lightly salted butter, it seems a simple start but you would definitely drool only for the bread.

Stuffed mushroom was come on a sizzling hot plate. You could tell how hot it was from the bubbling butter. Mushroom type changes depends on seasons. This time it was white button mushrooms . Big and moist. Loaded with a height of crab meat with sprinkled crispy cheese zest. It was a perfect combo. Savoury, craby, umami, with a hint of cheese, all combine on one delicacy. Well done.

Moving on, the main was coming with the two sides, ribeye was coming again on sizzling hot plates. Cooked perfectly to medium rare. Soft, juicy, melty in your mouth. The black pepper and salt crusted steak literally gave each bite a crazy wow factor. The steak juice and flavour triggered your palate to drool over. It was absolutely a heaven food, a master piece. Cut was half lean and half fat. Well balanced.

Roasted brussel sprouts was perfectly seasoned with a good roasty crunch. Bacon bites were smoky and crispy. Lyonnaise potatoes were a roasted slice potatoes with caramelised onions. Potatoes was slight crunch with its silky texture. Onions were soft and sweet. If you don't want potato dish which was oily or deep fried, this can be an option.

Last but not least, celebrating with my all time favourite warm apple crumb tart. It was served a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Actually very thoughtful that the ice cream wouldn't melt on the candle and mess up with the words written on the plate. Thank Chris Ruth again keeping their tradition capturing the celebration and framing it in a small card. A little gift to remember another year of joy here. Crumbs on top this time was on a big chunks size. Crust was also on a thick side. Very buttery. It's a very good quality cookie crust. Apple slices inside was also big thick slices which preferable in a thinner size so easier to be fully cook to soft. Not too cinnamon while on a caramel juicy side. Serving with a strong vanilla ice cream definitely gave a punch. Indulgent but satisfying. Always my favourite.

Last but not least, rounding up the meal with a cup of double espresso. Aromatic and nutty bitterness to cleanse all the heaviness and sweetness. Cozy and hearty.

It's wonderful Chris Ruth always keeps their tradition of celebrating special occasions, their high quality service, guaranteed food and home- feeling old school interior. It's my all time flavour and my annual celebration venue and it will always be.

趁還有幾日優惠,就搵多間餐廳試。見四百多元可以試到呢到D牛扒,就訂位試吓。前菜揀咗生牛肉拼沙律,味道幾好。主菜揀咗四安士牛,我平時會叫七成熟,不過服務員建議五成會好D,所以破例叫五成。嚟到試第一口,真係比平時肉質滑D,食到牛肉味,唔騷。side dish可揀薯蓉或波菜,我哋揀菠菜,味道正常。另加錢要了一份兩件嘅蟹餅,煎得幾香同啖啖肉。芝士餅唔太甜同偏向軟身。另一個甜品就係朱古力雪糕,入面有朱古力碎,食落好味D。
