My mom spotted this place in a back corner of K-11 mall when she stopped at a coffee stand. She thought it looked nice (and that the steaks were 40% off) so took me and my dad later for dinner.We all ordered steaks, of course. I got sirloin. I don’t eat steak very often, but the last time I had steak was at one of those cheap all-you-can-eat places, which was a mistake. The difference between this steak and the cheap one was SOOOOOO big! This was one was tender and had such a nice beef flavor. I have decided I need to only eat nice steaks from now on. We added on the salad, soup and drink (+ $30), and it was all very pleasant. I was surprised (in a good way) that the tomato soup (HK-style borsch) had tofu puffs in it. We were very full and satisfied after the meal. I just wish I were near K-11 at lunchtime. 位於K11的山翠熟成牛料理在商場內的位置有點難找, 隱藏在2樓的購物藝術館區域內, 或是在泰式餐廳的旁邊。這家主打日式造法的煎牛扒, 價單偏貴, 幸好這段時間餐牌正值做全單6折優惠。餐廳內佈局有點像日式茶室的感覺, 內部面積不算大, 但勝在坐位寬敞, 不會有太焗促的感覺。原先打算點和牛, 可惜當天兩款都售罄, 只好選另外兩款安格斯肉眼和西冷作替代。餐單上的扒類是單點的, 需要額外加錢才能升級做套餐, 亦可再加錢配紅/白餐酒。這次只有我升級了套餐, 而友人則只選了白酒。套餐的沙津味噌醋汁混上簡單的雜菜, 餐湯也是味噌湯, 湯內有一大塊豆卜, 味道很大部份都被炸豆皮味蓋過, 要是改以蜆肉之類突然鮮味會更襯托高檔次的格局。上餐速度有點過快, 前菜餐湯上沒多久牛扒就奉上, 牛扒沒什麼花巧的擺碟, 左右兩邊只有蒜蓉和醃紅薑片。牛扒上帶著誘人的格仔坑紋但入口的質素卻只是平凡的味道, 不論是肉眼或西冷都未能品嚐到熟成牛扒的特色, 不得不說是有點失望。在訂座前有看到某些食客可以自己沖煮咖啡, 作為咖啡迷的我當然想一過手癮! 不幸地, 這次只有已煮好的美式滴濾咖啡(類似麥當勞跟餐免費的那種)。同樣地, 味道沒什麼特別, 只是一壺沒帶不悅苦澀味的正常咖啡。整體而言, 事前的確對這餐廳抱有太多期望, 店員用餐前後都欠缺為客人介紹餐廳的特色, 主力食材在晚市早段已經缺貨, 甚至出餐的次序等等。但用餐環境舒適而且有6折優惠也倘可作為一試的選擇。 continue reading

之前和天使行經這裏,覺得這裏的菜色很特別,專賣熟成牛肉的。老實說,這裏的價錢其實相當的不便宜,和酒店高級扒房的價錢差不多。今日終於找了個機會,和天使趁下午茶做折扣的特別時間來試試。店員說由於是下午茶時分,可以將單叫的熟成牛扒免費升級為套餐。而這些就是套餐的前菜。是基本的前菜,其實沒什麼好說的,但天使刻意將它放得整整齊齊的,好吧,拍照一張作留念。可能畢竟是下午茶時段,沒什麼其他客人,上菜的速度很快。黑毛西冷扒和黑毛肉眼扒幾乎是同時上菜。肉本身嘅處理非常好,也是我要求的三成半。肉身也處理得很好,可以完全鎖住肉汁。咬落肉的時候沒有乾的感覺。而且肉眼扒和西冷扒的口感也很明顯。雖然聽起來理所當然,但其實卻是十分難得。看到天使吃得開懷的表情,我也覺得很高興。吃完兩塊扒,意猶未盡。我們決定加菜。經店員推薦,決定再試試這個「澳洲和牛西冷扒」。同樣是很愛上菜,同樣是處理得很好。而且這個西冷扒,可能是「和件」的關係,剛入口的口感很像肉眼扒,脂肪感很充足。但繼續吃下去卻完全是西冷扒的口感。如果說天使是過瘦、而我是過肥,這個西冷扒的脂肪比例就是剛剛好了。這一餐算是吃得很滿足。而且環境10分清靜,也十分光潔,所有東西也令人覺得很好。如果可以,我想我們會再來的。 continue reading

收藏了一段時間 也路經了好幾次今天我們要來了現在High Tea 在下能多一個依賴不用想不用選 乖乖坐下靜靜看著你等著吃就好今天我們點了三塊扒黑毛安格斯肉眼扒 $400黑毛安格斯西冷扒 $380和牛肉眼扒 $580跟餐有花茶和是日沙律在哪之前在下點了一杯有酒精的紅提汁好吧 😶是紅酒身為酒鬼的我怎可以待薄自己牛牛的確接近3成熟感謝店員和師傅的無間合作由於在在下眼中三塊野被燒完後的樣子都..“差不多”所以在下只為一塊拍遺照就好然後味道..也差不多🤣師傅聽到想哭吧…只是因為在下都沾著同樣的燒牛肉汁啊至於口感 是有分別的😃對在下而言和牛有點太肥安格斯肉眼的脂肪比例沒西冷均勻而且西冷肉質會比較細嫩不過結論都是好吃而熱門的餐湯反而令在下期望過高(在下並沒說它不好喝啊)算吧在下事實上是個極重口味的人三塊扒很快就被我們KO了雖然在下沒什麼飽感😶但..要控制食量..和店家要落場啊感謝還讓我們借位置休息著 continue reading

之前都試過呢間見到佢做緊六折優惠幾吸引就再去一次點知好失望,質素不如以前套餐照舊有沙律同湯,另外有飲品個麵豉湯味道唔錯,而且夠熱但係個牛真係唔係好掂賣相同以前好唔同,整埋一堆令胃口大減啲牛叫左5成熟但係食落係10成,肉質又乾又韌好似柴皮咁反而個魚唔錯,不過製作需時,等咗20分鐘魚皮煎得好脆,啲肉都好嫩滑不過略嫌細舊左啲另外試咗佢嘅蒜蓉烤大啡菇蒜蓉味夠,烤得好香而且都夠Juicy整體麻麻雖然價錢平咗,但係質素反而退步自己未必會再去食 continue reading
