After the previous visit with just one friend, we decided to try more dishes with a group of five. Opted out of soup and went straight for fried calamari (very good, tender and tasty, freshly out of the wok - though need to be eaten very quickly as the batter didn't last crispy for very long), reserved half a chicken (recommended to get only half but we would have finished the whole one as it was delicious!), bitter melon with fish belly (again the portion size was modest for five people and we polished it off in a few minutes, another testament to the great flavour), pineapple with sweet and sour pork (normally i would not order this but since so many people raved about it, i gave it a try - worthwhile as pork was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside, sweet and sour was fine ), lamb stew (big clay pot heated on the table, while delicious, it took up quite a lot of space and seemed the fire was too strong and some burnt smell escaped), we even ordered extra portion of beef rib but that's a bit too much. dessert of red bean soup was on the house. All in all a very satisfying dinner.
