依家同朋友去咗中環呢間日本餐廳食dinner。餐廳嘅環境唔算好大,但係好有日本居酒屋嘅感覺,可以睇住師傅燒嘢食。我地點左鰻魚重蒲燒,呢條鰻魚睇佢嘅色澤就可以feel到佢有幾靚,佢既質感好結實,每一啖都有炭燒過既鰻魚香,係食過最正既鰻魚!除左燒鰻魚之外,呢度既串燒都好高質,高度推介豚蘆筍串,燒豚肉包住爽脆既蘆筍,層次豐富。另外仲點左和牛串、燒雞翼、秋葵、洋蔥等。最後仲點咗鰻魚厚燒王子,雞蛋入面包住鰻魚,又係另一種滋味。

今日到中環搵食,目標就係「炭家」。它出名係炭燒鰻魚,據說是選用紀州備長炭,由日本師傅主理,所以一直想嚟食好耐。此店位於歌賦街的著名牛腩店斜對面,呢條街出名食肆都幾多,到店後很快就安排入內,店舖唔算大,約只有15個座位,半開放式廚房可以睇住師傅燒製食物,見到廚師都很年輕,一直忙個不停,坐低後發覺筷子套印上附近拉麵店的Logo ,原來該店和拉麵店是同一集團。我就柯打咗蒲燒鰻魚,其中嘅小鉢、日式清湯和茶碗蒸都OK🙂,但珍珠飯就太硬而鬆散,伴雞蛋絲更是敗筆😏,主角蒲燒鰻魚和期望有很大落差,味道算正常,鰻魚肉就太薄、太薄了😓。以這樣的消費,本區有更多好的選擇。小總結:小鉢、日式清湯和茶碗蒸全部都加咗鰻魚做材料,非常之有心思,但主角燒鰻魚和白飯就……🥲

📍SumiyaSumiya is probably the only place that serves fresh unagi in Hong Kong. They charcoal grilled the eel to the perfect cook. You can no doubt taste the freshness of the eel even with the sauce over it. The Kabayaki sauce was not too overpowering. They also use good quality Japanese rice. The set also includes a jelly eel kobachi which is such a better version than the English ones. The chawanmushi was silky smooth with chunks of eel in it. Very tasty. Sumiya is probably the only place that serves fresh unagi in Hong Kong.

They charcoal grilled the eel to the perfect cook. You can no doubt taste the freshness of the eel even with the sauce over it. The Kabayaki sauce was not too overpowering. They also use good quality Japanese rice. The set also includes a jelly eel kobachi which is such a better version than the English ones. The chawanmushi was silky smooth with chunks of eel in it. Very tasty. Though it is quite pricey to have a HK$500 unagi, sometimes it is worth the splurge.

One thing to alert is don’t order any of their skewers! Only the shirayaki unagi skewer was good. All the others were so dry that they are not suitable to go with rice and it is definitely not worth HK$500.

Service was great. They have this big window to show off their kitchen where the grilling takes place.

Price: HK$500 pp

Revisit: 9/10 (for their unagi)

已經冇得去旅行幾年,慳慳埋埋嘅錢可以考慮喺香港食下正宗日本料理,之前有留意中環歌賦街開咗一間炭烤鰻魚料理專門店,同座銀拉麵同集團,鰻魚用上日本紀州備長炭炭烤🔥,由日本師傅人手烹調👨🏻‍🍳由於用炭火慢烤🪵,所以製作需時⏱,老實講我本身唔係特別好鰻魚,但食完對我來說覺得味道好impressed,鰻魚確係烤得充滿焦燻炭香味,外層乾身,內裏魚肉依然鮮嫩保持肉汁,有「蒲燒」同「白燒」兩款選擇,我就揀咗有汁嘅蒲燒,沾埋供應嘅山椒粉帶辣,令鰻魚味更香!整個套餐由前菜「鰻魚啫喱」、湯品「鰻魚清湯」、「鰻魚蒸蛋」到主菜「蒲燒鰻魚飯」都貫切鰻魚主題,夠誠意!而每款串燒質素亦值得一讚,燒得外乾脆內juicy👍🏻至於服務方面,店員非常殷勤有禮!呢一餐價錢係唔平,不過可以食到地道特色日本料理,喺呢個無得飛嘅時刻✈️,想過吓口癮唯有用呢個方法啦🙈

生日當然要食好啲!疫情下,無得飛日本,唯有揾間高質嘅日本餐廳當去咗轉日本啦!今次揀咗呢間日本直送鰻魚飯店,希望品嚐到當地新鮮鰻魚的味道。細細的小店,只有數張枱,雅緻裝修,枱與枱之距離比較近,但尚算舒適。厨房係玻璃窗設計,可以睇到店員親手燒鰻魚。我地叫咗2個set同鰻魚厚燒玉子,鰻魚重同鰻魚串燒定食。鰻魚重有茶碗蒸(有1小塊鰻魚喺底)、小鉢(鰻魚餐前凍食)、清湯同重量級鰻魚飯。鰻魚厚燒玉子,蛋香,少有用鰻魚做餡,味道都算夾。茶碗蒸蛋夠香滑,面頭有一層薄薄的鰻魚油,食落有淡香鰻魚味。小鉢有微微魚腥味道,個人不太喜歡。主角-蒲燒鰻魚飯,有微香炭燒味道,魚質軟而不散,有近似在日本食的味道。但略嫌鰻魚汁偏少。鰻魚串燒定食 - 有白燒鰻魚串、雞腿肉串、豚籚筍卷、雞胸肉紫蘇卷同洋蔥串串燒份量偏少,白燒鰻魚上有少少海鹽調味,食原味道,其他肉類味道不俗,但無太大特別。最後,店員送上免費小甜品結束這餐生日午飯,幾貼心。

期待已久,一心來食鰻魚,但感覺普普通通,價錢亦都高,首先鰻魚皮唔脆,但又有啲乾,唔明,叫左幾串串燒都痳痳,令外個玉子燒就ok.座位唔多,個飯感覺好淋,我可能唔識食,我比較喜歡爽糯感覺,粒粒分明的日本米。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。,但不至於好差,但這個價錢同普通連鎖店差不多,成500元個曼魚飯,,,,,,,,,,,我覺得應該要好啲,希望有侍改進啦,因為我好鍾意食鰻魚,下次經過有機會試多次啦
