To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 食食下飯竟然有蚊 已經係秋天, 已經冇落過雨好多日 應該係廚房積水太多 養出嚟
I ordered curry beef brisket on rice. Their curry is well seasoned. I can almost eat 2 bowls of rice. It’s really good. Each of their lunch sets come with a free hot drink. I ordered their signature super iced milk tea, which served with a bowl of ice. The milk tea was very tasty.
Overall, I’ll rate this Tai Hing restaurant 3.5/5
My usual order is the curry beef brisket with rice. This dish never disappoint, they are never spicy but the sauce is thick and creamy. Always love the potato fries that they include in the curry, a very nice touch to the dish. Their curry beef is so popular that the shop makes their own ready to eat canned version for people to buy and eat at home.
The other famous product that they have is the ice chilled milk tea. Cold milk tea with ice on the outside. This is a way for the milk tea to keep cool without losing the taste or be watered down when the ice melts inside the drink.
Macaroni borsch soup with meat roll. Meat roll? Curiosity got the better of me so I ordered it.
What a mistake. The meat rolls was actually fish meat rolled around an imitation crab stick, chewy seaweed and then further wrapped in beancurd skin. All this was then deep fried so it was soaking in oil as all these are sponges for oil. It was horrible. The borsch soup seemed to be better than normal with actual chunks of beef in it. But the meat roll was a no more for me. I'll stick to the chicken wing version from now on.

曾撰文指出大快活的花架設計是象徵嶄新食店設計,此店明顯走類似風格,只是由橙色改為黑色,用作間隔和裝飾天花。
座位的設計無新意。黑色花架,磚牆,茶餐廳座位變得格格不一。
食品方面,我選了第一次在此店餐牌發現的良瓜火腩飯。
如是夏天,會是合時食品。
豆豉豉汁煮法,十分傳統,與家中煮成無大分別。曾寄望燒味店的火腩飯會特別一些。
不冰鎮的凍奶茶仍然十分出色。
甜品是鮮油多士。一般水準。
他們都認為比數大飲食集團的質素好。
只有6人,對福袋無興趣,如同嚼膠。唯有選「鮑魚金蠔」。
份量是足夠8人分享,加一斤唐生菜便可。
汁液豐腴,足以翻熱面層的食品,並令它們「入味」。味道類似元朗盆菜店,應是下了很多功夫。
今次宣傳口號是「足料到爆」,檢視有10隻鮑魚,10隻大金蠔,10隻蝦,6件鵝,6件雞,4件魚肚,大紅紋花菇,發髮,豬手,雲耳,魚蛋,貢丸,蘿蔔,西蘭花……。是交到功課。
豉油雞變了白切。
魚蛋有改進升級為元朗長魚蛋,紅紋花菇很大隻,形同5個10元硬幣,厚肉重味。
有兩大塊似排骨物體,有嚼勁,不肥胖。不知為何物?

盆菜擺設是藝術,顏色對比方面完全忽略。
