來到黃埔美食坊, 晚上總是比較人多。很久沒有品嚐冰鎮奶茶,來到太興食點小菜晚餐。 一進去總見到很多人已點了冰鎮奶茶,茶餐廳文化是香港人的標記,目的是用膳快速效率高快,服務和水準很多時候不會太挑剔,但當日點了餐後上菜很慢已且三度催促。。同時間下單但第一和第三碟主菜差不多相差別45分鐘。。鄰座的客人同時在催促另一味菜。。奶茶保持一向的水準很好但當日的燒味雙併叉燒大多都是肥肉偏油,點的牛腩煲亦有油脂浮面,幸好有個菜煲平衡一下。

太興個餐蛋麵真係百吃不厭,午餐肉內有肉絲,好實在,唔會太多粉,個炒蛋好滑,好味道。豬手一上檯好香黑椒味,豬皮煮得夠淋,豬手多肉,送飯至啱,只係賣幾十蚊其實好抵食。但係由於d豬手皮比較膩,所以最後我哋食唔晒d豬皮。

久不久會吃太興一次, 今日點了瀛風味淋燒豬爽肉和蝦醬蝦乾介蘭煲 - 整體算是不錯, 因自己口味徧淡, 所以覺得稍鹹(如喜愛濃味者, 應會覺得很美味).豬爽肉 - 很香口,應該是放了不同香料烹調;肉身比一般吃到的林,口感較接近叉燒;伴碟的木耳應該是浸了果醋之類的東西,酸中帶淡淡清甜,很醒胃.介蘭煲 - 蝦醬和蝦乾都很惹味, 介蘭苗很嫩. 只是上菜時有點"嚇人", 因為個煲大到有成6-8人份量! 不過一開蓋......(見圖:幾两菜洗唔洗咁大個煲上?而且個煲條裂痕大到有汁的話都會流曬出黎.)開業25年,應該久不久還會再吃一次.

惟恐太太與大食小友分享一個飯不夠吃,也就再叫一客鮮牛油多來墊底。厚多士是烘得夠脆的,不過唯獨一點令人甚不解的便是一客四小件多士,只其中兩件是夾有厚層未溶的鮮牛油,其餘的則只是塗上薄薄的全溶牛油。為何會有這種"厚此彼薄"的情況出現呢 ? 真是耐人尋味....

從前上早堂經常來這裡吃早餐, 這裡的炒蛋很有質素, 但水準不太穩定, 要碰運氣才吃到多汁又嫰口的炒蛋。現在上完堂過到來已趕不上吃早餐, 便轉投叉燒飯的懷抱 <3叉燒飯 --> 肥叉超正, 很有油香, 再加上一舊焦燶肥美的叉燒頭, 唔, 不得了。多汁的飯十分有份量, 拌著叉燒來吃是完美的一餐。太興的服務一向間間不同, 銅鑼灣的不太好, 旺角的呀姨好人得出奇, 黃埔這間本來服務超差, 但後來有一日換了一批新面孔後, 服務好到可以繼旺角店以後登上最佳服務榜的第2位!!
