To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

久違嘅人情味,睇完醫生搵早餐食,見好耐無嚟過呢間燒味茶餐廳,就入去食。未入門口,只是在門外睇吓餐牌,阿姐已好有禮貌招呼:「食咩呀?有早餐,飯都有得食架喇,入嚟坐啦」坐低,叫個B餐,雞扒出前一丁,餐跟方包及火腿煎蛋,飲熱奶茶,我問阿姐:「唔想食火腿,要煎雙蛋得唔得?」阿姐爽快回應:「得得得,無問題呀」然後落單俾水杯,枱面有熱水,檯打開櫃桶有餐具,紙巾。1分鐘,熱辣辣嘅奶茶送上,未至於驚為天人,但奶茶控嘅我絕不失望,香、滑、茶味都有,唔錯呀。落完糖,煎雙蛋+方包及雞扒一丁已到,普通的大眾食物,沒什麼好評,夠熱,乾淨,麵唔會太淋太硬,雞扒唔係炸,係煎,滿意的。環境雖小,只容2-30人的小店,但滿滿人情味,進食途中,唔少公公婆婆入嚟買嘢,有位婆婆回叉燒飯+菜幾錢,阿姐話$39+$22,婆婆話加兩條菜咁貴架,阿姐同燒味師父異口同聲話,等15分鐘丫,11點廚房幫你整個菜遠叉燒飯,平啲。今時今日嘅香港,如果每一個人都好似你兩位咁,將來一定會好。 continue reading

一家我在嚴冬臘月才會幫襯的店,它的煲仔飯滾燙火辣,很受歡迎。其他日子,其他選擇。今天破題兒,只因為是免費消費,阿公請客。小店地方狹窄,陳設老舊,整體不大吸引,但服務不錯,職員很主動。翻它的menu,泰國風味的食品大多已停賣,只剩下些老生常談艱難地存在。我們3人放棄千篇一律的燒味,分別叫了豉汁白鱔、蝦醬通菜豬頸肉、西蘭花牛仔骨,一份晚餐+飲品要價$74,在香港仔區並不便宜。【豉汁白鱔】鱔魚很新鮮,很有風味,沒有太多骨,無奈份量偏小,只有十塊八塊,可能是因為來貨太貴了。豉汁減去魚肉的油花肥膩,叫人食指大動,一絕。【蝦醬通菜豬頸肉】蝦醬味道不突出,淡淡的提鮮倒令通菜更加出色。豬頸肉有10片左右,很爽口、鬆軟。這道菜我質疑的是材料上的配搭,可能是我鄉下妹,很少吃到炒著吃的豬頸肉,我吃了一片,不是很喜歡。味道是好的,尤其通菜。【西蘭花牛仔骨】牛仔骨是咸了些,有5,6件,口感有少許奇怪,可能是用上了鬆肉粉。西蘭花炒得不錯,沒有過老也沒有太生,份量亦足夠拌飯。只是老問題又出現-材料配搭怪異。西蘭花炒牛肉可能平凡些,但起碼正正常常,大家都能認同,小店選用牛仔骨,我心裡納悶:「得唔得㗎」?從小店出來,天仍未黑。老友在大講新冠肺炎、口罩和搓手液,我閃避著街上的人;路上的車…不停問自己:「得唔得㗎」? 答案比較負面。豬頸肉 片片莫名其妙 通菜還好牛仔骨 件件不明所以 洋蔥尚可 continue reading
