廳2是個很玄的地方,位於荔枝角的工廠區,走的卻是半高檔路線,奉客的茶水雖然帶茶餐廳style,但菜式的賣相和份量卻又非常精緻。老闆似乎對「廳」字情有獨鐘,旗下已經有很多個「廳」了。廳2於裝潢風格上跟九龍廳很類似,兩者均喜用木製傢具,採用黃色為主調,並且同樣走現代懷舊風。耳邊傳來的英文音樂令人渾身是勁,很有寶礦力廣告的感覺,但跟整體環境不是很搭。餐牌的選擇頗多,中式、台式、日式、港式都有有點,價位比同集團的輕手,不過在荔枝角區似乎仍然有點離地。我們點了招牌雞飯($84),其實也就是海南雞飯。雖然店方選用的是雞胸部份,但滑不溜口,沒半點粗鞋感,連雞皮吃,滑溜口感會更突出。三款醬汁之中,最愛是醬油,濃稠的質感和甜中帶鹹的味道配雞肉正好。當然,油飯也是主角,它其實不油膩,反而比較像用上湯炊煮的米飯,入口粒粒皆香。這兒有提供點心,不過選擇不多,只有六款,都不是大路款式。我們選了菠蘿叉燒包,它完完全全是複製了九龍廳的出品,同樣的寸半size,但手感和口感又似乎更差。軟掉的外皮沒有菠蘿包獨有的驚喜感,包身拿上手不夠扎實,叉燒味道更是淡得可以。雖然計起來只需$9/件,比九龍廳平足四成,但在荔枝角區似乎
