Decided to eat at the Peak Lookout today after walking up the peak. What a terrible decision! After we sat down on the back patio at 11:30am (and the waitress asked if they could have the table back by 12:40 even though the outside was practically empty, by the way), we realized they stopped serving brunch at 11am. Good day today! Get some time out of school 2nd day of the week. So got up had a good breakfast close to home in Stanley, then we went to this awesome place to have lunch. Just me and my family.We come here maybe a few times a year, always in good weather, and it is a good experience most of the time. Except when there's someone smoking right behind you. 這天偷得浮生半日閒，相約友人到＂高處＂呼吸一下不一樣的空氣。對於太平山餐廳，我們有著不同的回憶，友人的是紀念日的甜蜜印記，我的則是兒時難忘的家庭樂。置身於餐廳室外的露天園林之中，雖然礙於角度問題，未能把響譽國際的維港美景收入眼簾，但春末夏初的微風、日落時份的斜陽，已悄悄地把我們那顆過度暴露於凡塵的心柔化了。一個凱撒沙律、一份卡邦尼意粉、兩杯咖啡，就這樣填滿了一個下午!美好的餐廳環境； 悠長的歷史背景；不過不失的食物質素； 取道中庸的收費水平；本來可以毫無疑問地把太平山餐廳列入必到餐廳之一。 可惜服務我們的，是幾個不甚專注的侍應，那份被冷待的失落感，在心底久久揮散不去。希望下次再來的時候，能真正享有一個美好而難忘的用餐經驗!

I went to the Peak Lookout today with a few customers for a business lunch, the food was generally ok, but there was one waiter who really pissed me off! We ordered for a plate of fruit at the end of the lunch, and we were actually hurrying back to office. We waited for around 10 minutes yet the plate didn't come, I went to that waiter (who looks quite tanned and short, Latin guy) to check if they have missed out our order. Pre-Christmas lunch with family, 3 of us.I haven't been here for over a year, The Peak Lookout is one of my class favourite choices for any celebration event. I love this place very much as this is my childhood restaurant, I used to come over to celebrate Christmas / Birthday / New Year once a year when I was young. The restaurant environment and atmosphere is nice and dim but adequately lit.The menu is a bit odd though, its like being in a food court. Anyway on with the food.Nasi Goreng - Lots of calories but really tasty. Lamb Tandoori - tender and juicy, tasty. Naan bread - hot nice and freshOverall experience was very good, I'll definitely go back again even though its a tasty/pricey food hall. Also need to try the desserts!!!

I used to love the Peak Cafe. Ever since it became the Peak Lookout, the quality of food keeps on lowering.It's probably over 2 years since I last came here. It turns out, the quality has gone down even further! How much further down can it get?? Not only the food quality was bad, the service was even worse! I ordered an iced lemon tea and they gave me the tea without the lemon! Here's the rest of the disappointing food...

Like many former old Hong Kong establishment, The Peak Lookout is not your old restaurant anymore. Long gone were the colonial days. Much as the new owners would like to re-establish this historical restaurant to its former glory, they have missed, and missed quite miserably, some key ingredients that make up the recipe for fond memories. 生日飯過有一餐重點未食.....同朋友同月生日.....決定二人去食好d的.....我選了山頂.......最中意去老店食飯......我地叫了一個海鮮拼盤.....各人一個主菜....仲有一早訂定的星形生日甜品 XDDDDD海鮮拼盤........如果想食蠔又唔識叫.....其實拼盤呢個選擇都唔錯....至少咩都有.....而且口味同口感都比較易接受的主菜.....我要了海鮮意大利飯........海鮮就無咩特別.....但個飯就係我食過最正宗口感的....真係意大利粉的果d口感同味道.......並不是真係飯果隻.....朋友叫了......試左少少......無咩特別.......三文魚都香口甜品係預先叫定的.......因為可以寫字........而且唔甜.....好香咖啡酒味.....推薦友人叫了香檳......我叫了白酒......我的好飲d......不過唯一要話下的係......可能見我地兩個......首先安排左個無咩冷氣的出入露天門的走廊位俾我....我未座底就話要轉位........都有轉的......咁我地收到餐牌......睇左五分鐘到......侍應就返黎問

本來諗住唔POST相的, 因為D相太黑, 鬼咩, 我地夜晚去食, 坐在花園的枱, CANDLE LIGHT DINNER, 黑MONK MONK, 所以就影唔到靚相了 話說回頭, 同老公結婚周年紀念日, 上左去山頂食晚餐, 一年一次, 都豪少少啦 兩個人我食青咖喱雞配飯, 仲有半打芝士焗田螺, 加埋老公份西冷牛扒, 成為我地慶祝紀念日的晚餐 先講吓份青咖喱雞, 味道太甜了, 雞肉都比較鞋, 係一般的雞柳條, 飯的份量比較少, 如果只係食這份主菜, 係完全沒有飽的感覺的 焗田螺的薯蓉先係主角, 好滑, 好香, 但田螺就沒有田螺味, 老公份西冷叫六成熟, 但出來之後就九成熟, 味道偏淡, 唔好食侍應其實唔算好熱誠, 比我的感覺係, 佢地會覺得自己好PRO, 但隻眼生得比較高, 或者呢度係高級地方, 我太粗魯啦

過了白露踏入9月份，雖然天氣仍然炎熱，但在太平山山頂上吹來一陣涼風，感到寫意秋意再臨,趁放假得閒，上到太平山對着維港靚景食下午茶,太平山餐廳位於港島最高處的山頂，內有歐式花園露台，在此餐廳用膳，當然名副其實的是想享受環境, 此餐廳是有幾多選擇, 日本,意大利, 美國.... 的食物。今次只吃簡單的食物和飲品兩杯 Iced Mocha -,味道幾好公司三文治:- 好穩陣, 薯條美味在幽雅露天園林環境中,悠閒地坐坐,吃個下午茶 ‘What’s a Royal Life!’ Nice Holiday!

每次來山頂一遊,總喜歡來這兒一坐就是食物不對自己胃口=.=某次選了海南雞飯,覺得不好吃,某次又選了三文魚中東包類似東西,更不好吃但依然喜歡在這建築物的園林餐廳坐坐今次決定只吃簡單的食物和飲品兩杯飲品--鮮芒果汁和凍mocha,芒果汁有芒果肉,味道幾鮮甜mocha也不錯,味道幾好,不過甜公司三文治:.餡料有火腿.煙肉.同埋喜歡的蕃茄和生菜,食落幾fresh,還配上薯條今次好穩陣.唔會食到倒胃口,雖然以上的食品,一般快餐店也有,但在幽雅露天園林環境中,悠閒地坐坐,吃著簡單又美味(合自己口味)的食物,很愉快的一個下午

上到山頂,,行完個WAX MUSEUM都已經攰攰地,,,係時候坐低吸收番D糖份,,帶住女朋友就梗係搵間靚D架啦,,,依間歷史最長最古舊既山頂餐廳雖然無TEA SET,,但勝在景靚,,,未坐低已經感受到佢既古舊,,所有枱枱椅椅都係木製的,,,四周圍仲有好多古舊既花瓶呀,畫像呀,,感覺良好,,,木製既枱面雖舊卻感覺好實淨,,只鋪上簡單既餐紙同餐具,,,外面ALFRESCO既環境仲靚,,但怕熱既我地選擇左窗邊就算,,,MENU同好多西餐廳都一樣,,大大張密麻麻,,中英對照,,5洗驚口啞啞,,,好得意既係果度D員工都著住好古老既制服,,灰色類似唐裝既物體,,,反正晚一點都準備去食晚飯,,叫2杯野加個甜品補充下糖份算,,,STRAWBERRY & BANANA SMOOTHIE 幾香幾滑,,係細杯左D,,勝左夠FRESHLYCHEE SMOOTHIE 味道比較人工D,,用新鮮荔枝打出梨都無可能咁香心太軟 岩岩好,,一切已經湧住出梨,,個雪糕放係上面會溶得好快,,焦糖做既伴碟好甜,,岩緊行到腳仔軟既我地,,,有機會真係要坐出面撐下枱腳,,因為佢MENU入面由中菜,西餐,壽司到咖哩都有,,,同女朋友
