睇完少年食神令我對依間店有認識再同我d 為食朋友傾開原來佢地好耐之前已經成日黎食所以我專登去食由柯士甸站行去大約8分鐘唔係好難搵叫左個hkd22 的小法包其實唔洗等好耐已經有法包好脆, 好熱真係會食到成身都法包碎味道ok 啦,可能我期望太高反而覺得乾

這個星期五,原本是約了舊同事晚飯的,只不過自己身子弱,咳到差點肺都甩,唯有改期。飯局推掉了,但晚餐始終要吃,正煩惱食什麼東西之際,忽然想起舊同事舊居的渡船街,附近那間法式三文治,不正是我想吃很久的嗎? 於是二話不說,往目標方向走去。店子在著名越南餐廳老趙的鈄對面,不算起眼,卻並不難找,看見有人排隊的那家就大概沒有錯。大部份客人都是外賣帶走,而吃的總都是法包和蒜茸包,而其實,這裡還有蝦片、春卷等供應。我要了個小法包,見老闆先把法包噴水再焗,然後一層一層的把餡料堆滿,很豐富的樣子。咬一口法包,是十分之鬆脆,吃到爽脆酸甜的蘿蔔絲,青瓜片又是爽口,蕃茄清甜,還有咸豬手、腩肉、扎肉和嚼肉混合起來的肉香,相當好吃,是少數我極滿意的法包,值得遠赴而來。既然一場來到,也就買埋蒜茸包,原來都幾長身。同樣地,蒜茸包都是鬆脆非常,又滿有牛油香,如果蒜泥味可以再重一點,就是完美。不過,這已經是很不錯的了。再來就是炸龍蝦片,當然又是香脆,龍蝦味道濃郁,也帶有很輕微的辣味,好吃。愛食香口東西的我,吃不停口。三款食物都很有水準,但要數到最滿意的,始終是其招牌法包。更多相片可見:http://fabricelau.b

我要了個小法包,見老闆先把法包噴水再焗,然後一層一層的把餡料堆滿,很豐富的樣子。咬一口法包,是十分之鬆脆,吃到爽脆酸甜的蘿蔔絲,青瓜片又是爽口,蕃茄清甜,還有咸豬手、腩肉、扎肉和嚼肉混合起來的肉香,相當好吃,是少數我極滿意的法包,值得遠赴而來。

既然一場來到,也就買埋蒜茸包,原來都幾長身。同樣地,蒜茸包都是鬆脆非常,又滿有牛油香,如果蒜泥味可以再重一點,就是完美。不過,這已經是很不錯的了。

很久已經想試這店的食品,是日決定專程前往雖然地點稍僻,但由於知道在老趙越南餐廳對面,所以並不難找。去到店內無客人,有數個位子方便食客進食,店主在廚房間工作,全店得店主一人主理,落單、收錢、烹調食物........撰擇了小法包、蒜蓉包和一罐可樂。小法包(22元)-包身熱辣辣、脆卜卜、饀料豐盛飽滿,有豬手、札肉、青瓜、酸甜紅蘿蔔絲......等,一口咬下,由於太脆關係,枱上滿是麵包屑,幸好可以在店內進食,不然包碎掉在街上或衣服上,吃得十分之狼狽味道十分之豐盛,整個包夠香脆、材料足、味道美,物超所值蒜蓉包(5元)-同樣熱辣辣、脆卜卜、重有香噴噴的蒜蓉牛油味,一口咬下,本人覺得味道比小法包更勝一籌,因為雖然沒有饀料,但簡單的蒜蓉牛油塗上脆脆的包上,已經好好味好開心,食物味道真的很美味沒有失望而回當然,枱上的麵包碎屑、紙袋、汽水罐執得乾乾淨淨才離開,店主一人把守店舖,已經夠忙和辛苦。

一早plan 好今日食添記, 因為天氣轉涼, 由公司行去個條路終於無咁熱! 出公司門口前先打定電話"唔該外賣, 細法包, 一陣自取", 好多係附近番工的人都係落家order, 咁可以慳左等的時間, 如果客多我試過等15mins+, 加埋一來一回, lunch time 好易就無左....好多人都話難搵, 我都好認同, 我次次都係認住老趙個大大個招牌, 對面(文苑街方向) 就係啦! 道算番到公司先食,麵包依然係好脆, 好似係口入面爆炸咁, 成枱都係麵包碎! 最love 佢有好多配料, esp 超多紅蘿蔔絲, 個包即刻無咁dry!

雞飯唔合格, 再沿佐敦道行落去, 去到添記買條包食補數啊! 又加了一蚊, 之前食係廿一蚊, 今次貴了一蚊, 香港的通帳越嚟越明顯了, 食條包都貴了麵包永遠都係咁脆咁好食, 唯一唔好的就係每次食都係成條褲都係麵包碎, 掃了一餐先可以整乾淨條褲! 今次食, 覺得肉醬的份量比以前少了, 不過味道依然好香, 好好味, 酸酸甜甜的紅蘿蔔絲, 美極同胡樣粉的配搭, 仲有份量適中的牛油, 配襯扎肉, 五花腩, 豬肉去食, 每次都令我滿意而回一條的份量剛夠自己食, 廿二蚊, 雖然又加, 但比那三十幾的海南雞飯, 值得多了

今天的覓食之旅就從添記 開始!乘坐巴士,走了有一段路 才終於找到這家小店 位於文昌街社區的文苑街上,斜對角有家越南菜餐廳~其實並不是特別難找到,只是位置頗為吊腳,從地鐵站需要步行10-15分鐘才能到懷著興奮的心情~步入了店家要了一個大法包看到價錢牌上貼了新的紙牌,便可看出這裡的包是一直加價呀 XD老闆 拿起法棍 切開,塗上牛油 便開始往裡買鋪各種各樣的肉類材料塞滿了便放入一個舊式烤爐過了一陣,老闆把包拿出來 拿起筷子 塞入醃好的紅蘿蔔以及青瓜絲再加上數片番茄用大大的鋸齒刀-一分為二---完成!終於有得吃啦 XD 為食的我站在一旁 心急如焚 恨不能早一點搶過法包來大嚼一番一口咬下去~有種莫名的溫暖感受如果小的沒搞錯的話 應該是 豬手,扎肉,嚼肉以及腩肉從中可以吃出店家的堅持,剛進店時也聽見了老闆向客人自豪的介紹材料,很多樣東西都是老闆自己親手調製,醃製的 一口咬下去 就知道 這簡單法包背後的心思腩肉,豬手的肥美,使得整個”三文治“變得十分香口,不會寡,也不會太過乾身。和醬汁一起調和了本身法包乾澀的口感扎肉則是充當紮實的蛋白質~有肉的鮮美和彈牙的口感~個人最喜歡的便是裡面的嚼肉,有點像鵝肝

看到價錢牌上貼了新的紙牌,便可看出這裡的包是一直加價呀 XD

老闆 拿起法棍 切開,塗上牛油 便開始往裡買鋪各種各樣的肉類材料
塞滿了便放入一個舊式烤爐
過了一陣,老闆把包拿出來 拿起筷子 塞入醃好的紅蘿蔔以及青瓜絲
再加上數片番茄
用大大的鋸齒刀-一分為二---完成!
終於有得吃啦 XD 為食的我站在一旁 心急如焚 恨不能早一點搶過法包來大嚼一番

一口咬下去~有種莫名的溫暖感受

如果小的沒搞錯的話 應該是 豬手,扎肉,嚼肉以及腩肉
從中可以吃出店家的堅持,剛進店時也聽見了老闆向客人自豪的介紹材料,很多樣東西都是老闆自己親手調製,醃製的
一口咬下去 就知道 這簡單法包背後的心思
腩肉,豬手的肥美,使得整個”三文治“變得十分香口,不會寡,也不會太過乾身。和醬汁一起調和了本身法包乾澀的口感
扎肉則是充當紮實的蛋白質~有肉的鮮美和彈牙的口感~
個人最喜歡的便是裡面的嚼肉,有點像鵝肝醬般的的感覺 但卻不會喧賓奪主,蓋過其他材料的味道。吃到嘴巴里是綿綿的,厚厚的,陪著清爽的蔬菜 剛剛好~

紅蘿蔔和青瓜絲有種畫龍點睛的效果:P
酸酸甜甜的蔬菜,不但中和了肉類的咸膩,而且十分開胃!讓人越吃越多

番茄 又是 讓幹身的麵包變得 美味多汁 XD

最後老闆拿著一瓶像似醬油的東西 往法包上淋,但在法包上卻沒有看到啡色的踪跡,莫非是我花了眼?


總而言之 就是 平凡中的溫馨感動
一份外表普通的法包,卻能夠吃出料理者的堅持和背後的心意

我相信 這一餐是值得的!
因為我本身就超級愛吃法式麵包
Baguette 是我的最愛呀,就算吃到熱氣,菲茲,生瘡,嘴巴破皮我也無所謂!
而且這裡的法棍已經是 "Light" 版本,根據本地口味改良過了吧
已經沒有那麼硬,那麼實心


而且讓我回想起 以前在美國吃到的越式法包,

要求ENCORE ENCORE!
下次一定要試埋蒜蓉包!
真係好吃到十五個likee呀

此外,店旁還有一排架子,上面放了一些泰越麵食及乾貨,也包括上圖的自家調魚露 ,不同份量有不同價錢,這支是裝得最滿的,賣$23 (圖中顯示的份量是巳被我用了五分一),雖然不清楚是添記自家調還是交來貨 (因為用的是同心的膠袋),但味道很不錯,甜、酸、鮮、辣做得頗平衡,可以一試。

一間平樸的小店,一份用心製作的美食,一位安守本份、敬業樂業的店主;換來的,是一個普通女孩的滿足與欣賞,還有一篇從「心」出發的食評。

Tim Kee is undoubtedly my top recommendation for trying Vietnamese Baguette in Hong Kong. Albeit you have to walk a bit either from Jordan / Austin Road/ Kowloon Station, search for this unspectacular shop near the ex-Jordan Road ferry area. It is easy to find, after we have been walking all through around, when you see “Lo Chiu” Vietnamese food and 7-11, Tim Kee is just right next to the convenience store, opposite to the Vietnamese restaurant.

There isn’t outstanding decoration nor big bill post, but when you spot the light box outside, as well as the openrice sticker (recognizing them for getting more than 100 good comments), you’re at the right spot.

I went there with another friend, at around 6-ish before dinner. After the long walk and search for this shop, we were quite hungry and longed for trying this famous Baguette! We ordered a small size baguette ($22), one serve of Garlic Bread ($5) and one serve of fried Spring Rolls ($12 for 3 rolls).

The shopkeeper (I think he’s the boss) was quite nice, he showed us the two different sizes of Baguettes when I asked him how big they were, his wife showed us a box of Spring Rolls and allow us to choose between the more crispy one ($12 for 3 rolls) and the less crispy one ($12 for 4 rolls). It’s serving like home, probably because we arrived early, before people rushed here and grabbed their Baguettes.

The shop wasn’t big, with 3 spare chairs for us to sit, with a TV to watch, no official tables but 2 small benches near the door. After 5 minutes, the “boss” nicely cut our Baguette into half, and packed nicely with one slice of Garlic Bread in each bag. We were excited when we saw the pack!

Crispy – an undeniably correct word to describe both the Baguette and Garlic Bread crust.
Garlic Bread - $5 for 2 slices, not bad at all, you can smell the Garlic sauce before eating, not oily when you ate it. The sauce was fully spread on the surface of the piece. Surprisingly good.

Small Vietnamese Baguette - $22 – I wish I would have bought the large one, $42, for value as well as the food inside the bun. The large one looks like more than 1 foot long, while ours is around halved. But still, the vegetables inside are mildly sauced, I could smell the spices, the colour of the carrot slices is appealing, what a pity that they put just a few slices of meat inside. We just couldn’t stop eating, fresh and stimulating.

The spring rolls are ready when we were eating our Baguettes. Well… a bit disappointing, the spring rolls were not hot enough, a bit raw, and not as crispy as the buns. Meat and carrot minced inside, not heavily spiced. The specialty of this shop is not spring rolls, but the Baguettes!

We almost finished our dinner and more customers came in a row. (See the picture) I saw most of them ordered the large size, and shopkeeper politely asked them how many slices they would like it to be served. Some of them take away and ate in the car, some stayed, stood and ate in this small shop. Crowded and homely.

Recommended for those who like Vietnamese food, and those who don’t.. cos’ you might be in love with Vietnamese Baguette once you taste it. I will go there again, and don’t have to search every shop around again. =]

到渡船角, 總要吃上兩三間店子才算完滿. 添記是每次到那邊必吃的, 都是為了他的法式越南麵包這裡賣的, 就只有大法包, 小法包, 蒜蓉包, 還有旁邊的一些東南亞食品要了一個小法包. 老闆先把法包噴些水放進焗爐. 之後把餡料逐樣放進法包中付錢後急不及待咬上一口, 法包的外層很酥脆, 跟朋友一人一口, 發出了讓人滿足的卡滋聲音表皮酥脆的裡面是硬度剛好的麵包, 要趁熱吃, 不然就會變很硬夾著法包的, 就是內容簡單但堅強的陣容. 有越南扎肉, 豬手皮, 五香腩, 嚼肉(就是豬肉加豬肝攪碎而成的肉醬扎肉片的厚薄很平均, 不會過厚過薄. 豬手皮有一股香茅的香氣. 以花椒八角煮過的五香腩為整個餡料加上香料的味道嚼肉則為前面三樣的材料加上了濕度, 因為入口即溶, 肉類部分最先跑出來的味道就是嚼肉了.另外一樣法包的靈魂, 就是舖在肉類餡料上面的青瓜絲, 還有用醋醃過的紅蘿蔔絲. 紅蘿蔔絲酸度調得恰當, 不會過於太酸. 紅蘿蔔本身的甜味跟醋酸配合的很好, 如果一味死酸就會變得不好吃嚼肉扎肉的軟, 五香腩的微韌, 豬手皮的Q, 蘿蔔青瓜的爽, 加上麵包的酥脆. 整個法包實在是太美味, 也是我間歇性就想到這裡

表皮酥脆的裡面是硬度剛好的麵包, 要趁熱吃, 不然就會變很硬

夾著法包的, 就是內容簡單但堅強的陣容. 有越南扎肉, 豬手皮, 五香腩, 嚼肉(就是豬肉加豬肝攪碎而成的肉醬

法式越南麵包的越語叫做banh mi, 音"笨me", 但到添記吃法式越南麵包, 一點都不是笨的選擇~!

怎看添記都不像賣吃的...好像好像小時候的文具店

推門進內,只有幾個小座位,看上去不像是給食客坐的。西打進門便衝過去跟老闆說要一條小的法包,朋友則採取放棄態度不理西打。

其實添記在一眾老饕心中早已是紅到不用再提的店,但怎麼身邊的朋友都好像不知道這家店。

跟老闆說好要大還是小的法包後,老闆便會細心的先把法包拿出來,噴上水,夾好豬手,腩肉,醬肉和扎肉,然後送入用了幾十年的舊式烤爐。就這樣等,老闆在看電視,客人便自行發呆。時候到了,便把烤好的法包放到桌上,慢慢鋪上醃菜,最後撒一把醬汁和胡椒粉。

看似簡單,卻實花了不少心思的法包就弄好了。

為了保持法包的香脆又不過乾,入爐前刻意加了水,保持濕潤度。按著傳統,豬手放最底,然後鋪上腩肉、醬肉和扎肉,一點也不馬虎。醬肉也是自家調配,加了豬肝,豐富了味道和層次。從不會先做好麵包,客人來才送入爐,要吃便乖乖的等。

每樣的小堅持,才建構成這塊好吃到感動的法包。

老闆很和善,麵包一出爐,西打的照相機便盯住了法包。老闆笑著說要讓你先拍嗎?西打還是提著相機回答:你不用理我..就這樣讓我把最自然的的一刻凝住吧。

一般來說,為了拍照西打不會讓老闆切成兩半。不過為了迫同行朋友吃一口,才切成兩半...豈料他死都不願吃。沒差,就讓他平白在嘴邊溜走了美味。

這塊法包真的是外酥內軟,脆之中不會乾。中間的醃菜清爽帶點酸,越吃越開胃,最精彩還是中間那層複雜的肉,有軟滑的醬肉,甘香的腩肉,鹹香爽脆的豬手,每口都是混雜著幾種美味的感覺。雖然是邊走邊吃,但那種美味..是讓西打不停大叫..太好吃了..連朋友都覺得煩。

老實說,西打個人不太愛吃麵包,但這塊法包是好吃到讓西打午夜夢迴都想再吃一次的。

還記得西打跟老闆說:我從大埔過來的..好遠噢!
老闆笑著回答:有多遠?元朗、天水圍都有人過來吃。

也對,為了好吃的東西,絕不能怕遠!這才是找美食之道!

今日見到openrice有人推介, 我十分喜歡食garlic bread, 一定要HOTand CRUNCHY的, 即刻走去試....地點:有點唔就腳, 但去過一次, 就會識去環境:很細, 堂食都OK, 4個位, 地方都clean今日5點幾去, 非繁忙時間, 計埋我得2個客, 唔駛等好耐.老闆很健談, 連平時小說話的我, 都跟老闆傾了很多關於'法包'的事.....如你like GARLIC BREAD, 人生必定要試一次, 即制, 很HOT , CRUNCHY, 我非常LIKE..$5超抵...跟住試小法包, $22, 都OK, 我個人喜歡garlic bread多D素食朋友, 呢度有素法包架, $13, 都好抵食. 食完兩個包, 都好口渴, 最好帶定飲品, 不過都有cold drinks賣.
