在香港, 專門做越式法包的小店不多最先做出名堂的想必就是添記以前食過3-4次...但都已經有一段時間冇食了早前經過就打算重溫舊夢...但可惜...夢碎了......已不是記憶中的味道...法包...比以前更乾...其實本來就算是偏乾但這次真的乾到會食到口角破損......相反...蔬菜太濕太軟正如另一間專做法式三文治的小店以前提過不太新鮮......嚼肉...比以前清淡多了??我還差點吃不出其味道......添記之所以感覺比較正宗, 實有賴這個肝醬的味道那現在......希望只是一時失手吧...香港好吃的小店愈來愈少, 希望不會又一間在我的名單上消失吧......

添記之所以感覺比較正宗, 實有賴這個肝醬的味道
那現在......希望只是一時失手吧...

香港好吃的小店愈來愈少, 希望不會又一間在我的名單上消失吧......

.我很愛吃法包,因為它夠硬,很有口感,這間是賣傳統越南法包的,法式的法包吃得多,這個內裡是用越南的扎肉,菜去做的法包也是第一次吃,感覺好像吃fusion菜一樣,一個小法包$31價錢不便宜,但是我又很想去嘗嘗,店內像是熟客多,我點了一個,即做的,等了一會便有了,老闆很親切,我買了便立刻吃,還有適合的熱度的包,內裡不是熱的,但如果熱了的扎肉也不會好吃,這個很美味,扎肉不太肥,蘿蔔絲酸酸的,加上香脆的法包,一個足以填飽肚。

聞名不如見面,久仰了添記大名很久,今天考完試終於到此一嘗!柯士甸站過去很方便,不算難找。老闆跟客人很談得來,剛好電視在播放亞視的新聞,老闆說「亞視做左咁多年都收支唔平衡,執鬼左佢啦!」老闆太健談,我和友人只好笑著和應「係囉係囉!」😂 回到主角大法包,我沒有吃過所謂的正宗法包,但此包的確皮脆內軟,比起外面貴價的豪不遜色!蘿蔔,豬手,扎肉,蕃茄,豬肝醬配合得宜,絕對食過返尋味!我個人認為,除了食法包,還可以食下香港地這種難得的風土人情味。

趁大肚可以攞正牌吃多點,當然會周圍搵野食啦,之前已經成日聽人講佐敦越南法包,但都未有的起心肝去搵,趁大肚就去搵下啦,順便當行多啲嘛。原來唔係想像中咁難搵,去到門口已經有人等緊,我買左細size,再買埋蒜蓉包,不過我加埋阿b既胃口都食唔落咁多,每樣咬幾啖已吃不落,要帶回家,吃時再用焗爐烘脆了。細size法包店內法包只得一款,不過聽講可出聲要求多點酸菜之類的,不過我初黎埗到,都是吃原味較穩陣^^包內材料很豐富,不過我比較「咋」,唔敢肯定有什麼材料,應該有扎肉..鹹豬手..腩肉..醃蘿蔔等材料吧。入口脆卜卜,配上醃得入味的材料,簡簡單單都相當好味,不過一定要趁熱吃,凍了法包就會很韌。越式法包和蒜蓉包其實都的確好味,不過若要我特登再來,又未必有此動力,希望日後附近再有吸引的東西令我再來附近,那就可以再來吃啦^^

包內材料很豐富,不過我比較「咋」,唔敢肯定有什麼材料,應該有扎肉..鹹豬手..腩肉..醃蘿蔔等材料吧。
入口脆卜卜,配上醃得入味的材料,簡簡單單都相當好味,不過一定要趁熱吃,凍了法包就會很韌。
越式法包和蒜蓉包其實都的確好味,不過若要我特登再來,又未必有此動力,希望日後附近再有吸引的東西令我再來附近,那就可以再來吃啦^^

食完雞蛋仔就黎食個法式三文治法式三文治有大,小兩個size, 今次就叫個小size黎試下!入到去見到老闆娘忘於放各種材料落入法包材料有扎肉, 咸豬手肉, 嚼肉, 等等.老闆先噴水落法包再放入焗爐, 之後再放青瓜, 紅羅白等大約十分鐘就有得食!食落去第一個感覺法包外表小小硬並不鬆脆還有可能是小size法包, 材料真的不多這兩點都要扣分呢!!!!但味道都算ok, 咸香味十分特出還有小小酸酸的味道可能今次比較多人有小小失準, 有機會再試整體10分有6.5分

法式三文治有大,小兩個size, 今次就叫個小size黎試下!

入到去見到老闆娘忘於放各種材料落入法包

材料有扎肉, 咸豬手肉, 嚼肉, 等等.

老闆先噴水落法包再放入焗爐, 之後再放青瓜, 紅羅白

等大約十分鐘就有得食!

食落去第一個感覺法包外表小小硬並不鬆脆

還有可能是小size法包, 材料真的不多

這兩點都要扣分呢!!!!

再食法包 - 添記添記成間店都比較細,只有三個位但唔好以為呢到得法包,仲有個架可以買下印尼撈麵同蝦片等等添記法包只有一隻味 三個size 分別係全條 半條 迷你由於係餐前小食 所以只係嗌左半條三個人食 每人一小舊試下味 (老闆好好咁幫你切埋等你食得方便d)材料包括紅白蘿蔔絲,青瓜,扎肉但包烘得唔夠脆(馬丁王稍為優勝)材料略有小小過酸,雖然已經連埋包食,味道都唔太適合我,但朋友好喜歡肉可能連埋其他材料一齊 所以又鹽又酸幾特別,加上有其他調味,感覺好正完越式風味。不過有小小同食開嘅馬丁王有小小唔同。但價錢同份量都好成正比,加上老闆人情味,絕對可以一試。

材料略有小小過酸,雖然已經連埋包食,味道都唔太適合我,但朋友好喜歡
肉可能連埋其他材料一齊 所以又鹽又酸幾特別,加上有其他調味,感覺好正完越式風味。不過有小小同食開嘅馬丁王有小小唔同。

但價錢同份量都好成正比,加上老闆人情味,絕對可以一試。

早前到過一佐敦一間新開的越式法包試過大感好吃,反而聞名多時的老店「添記」法式三文治,一直未有一試,所以特意前來看看~原來老店的門面也頗特別,充滿著舊日的味道走進店內,也是用上了懷舊的綠瓷磚,還有一部古董級的厚身電視,感覺有如回到過去~而電視底下,擺放著一個𣕧子,上面放上了大量越式食品,供顧客選購牆身貼上了大大少少的雜誌介紹剪報和餐牌,除了法包外還有售買一些越式食材、少量麵食及飲品其實舖內環境也相當擠逼,但牆邊位置也放著3張圓櫈及橫枱,方便顧客進食來到收銀及製作位置,前方已清楚地寫上了法包的價目表,大法包$60、小法包$31,另外還有蒜蓉包$7小法包 ($31)「添記」的法包只有一款口味,不似一些新式法包店有數款餡子供選擇。而法包內包捨了:扎肉、鹹豬手、五香腩肉、蕃茄、青瓜、醃蘿蔔及法式嚼肉(雞潤及豬肉碎混合)等材料,材料十分豐富法包皮烘得非常鬆化,咬下去時,法包發出清脆的「嗦嗦」聲,整個法包也是鬆脆的,而餡料方便則比較淡味,吃下去時吃得出鹹豬手及五香腩肉的咸香味,但略嫌醃蘿蔔的酸味不夠突出,但整體味道還算否錯,法包的鬆脆程度於市面少有,值得一試

依間鋪頭都算幾特別嫁,叫完野食之後就佢就會將D肉,咁有扎肉同埋豬蹄咁既野,放入D普普通通既法包裹面,咁佢會將個包,再係包既上面噴番少少水咁,之後就開始放入焗爐慢慢焗幾分鐘,佢都算焗得幾快下嫁,拎左黎之後就慢慢帶D紅蘿蔔絲,同埋少少料落去,食落個法包非常之鬆脆,唔知有咩秘訣,但真係未食過咁脆既法包,不過真係要小心食,因為咬一啖就真係會成手都係麵包碎,咁樣睇就真係就真係夠哂脆。唔單只個醃菜,裡面個豬手好香,幾好味,扎肉都唔錯,有少少香甜都,兩樣野個口感都唔錯,不過真係一定要熱食,如果唔係既話因為個豬肉脂肪太過多,一放凍左個脂肪就會變左硬哂,食落會變左好怪,好似食緊成條怪怪地既野咁,但熱食就真係好好食既。

這裏賣的法包全部由老闆一人親自全理,如果繁忙時間一定要耐心等候一下。包一共有兩款,越式法包同蒜蓉包,蒜蓉包我就末食過,但我見到都幾正下,用半條法包再打橫切開兩片,再涂上牛油蒜蓉,然後再放入烤爐焗三分鐘,得左……..下次重臨再一試。

而越式法包餡料非常豐富又足料,有青瓜片,醃紅蘿蔔絲,咸香豬手肉切片及豬楠肉,嚼肉,扎肉片等,法包表面還灑了少許胡椒粉,滋味非常!你可以隨個人口味要求老闆加入辣椒碎,果樣多d少d任你選擇。
口感方面,佢個法包真係堅正,一般法包既外皮會烤得好硬同好厚好煙韌,入口感不好,而呢個就烤得好脆好簿帶少許煙韌感,內層麵包非常鬆軟,還加了牛油十分的香口,事原法包放入烤爐加熱前會在表面噴上少許水分,可能這就是香脆的原因吧!

餡料方面,呢個都可以詳細講下,青瓜片爽脆清新,紅蘿蔔絲用左魚露與白醋醃製既,酸酸地幾醒胃,而嚼肉用豬肝與豬肉加調味碎攪和而成,個嚼肉你食唔到肝既腥味,反而豬肉味多d,好似我唔中意食肝既人都食唔出,也是一件好事。聽說正宗既會用鵝肝的,來到這裏用豬肝代替也是降低成本同親民之舉,不然會賣得貴貴的,咸香豬手肉切片及豬楠肉咸味剛好,鬆化易入口,扎肉片也可口,在各有特色既餡料混在一起,清新,酸,咸,各種調味,肉香一次進入你的味蕾,加上香脆鬆軟既法包,嘩!莫非這就是越南味道?

以上的也許成為腦海中的回憶,今次食同上次食的失色不少了,個豬手片塊豬皮好似食緊香口膠太韌唔到…….調味比之前重手左,d肉餡咸左d,而且d餡料比以前少左d(價錢仲貴左五蚊…….),但其他方面都保持到水準,也算是好食的,可能老闆一時的失準,下次我還會拜會附近一帶既點心店,到時再會吧!她是小弟推介佐敦必食之選!她的獨特味道還是其他地方找不到的。
Other Info. : 在香港的小食店中,大財團和中型經營者愈來愈多,連鎖與加盟,韓台日風盛行,廣告媒體的宣傳,口味轉變等令這些有特色的老小食店漸漸被大眾所怱視,而他們的生存之道也只有依靠水準口碑,街坊與一眾識食之人所支持,但如果連自己最後的本錢也不能守護的話,也只能被現今重表面與客量的飲食生態所淘汰……..

Let's grant that that's true. But also let's be aware that Australia is an 8 hour plane flight away, and that there's no reason to go to Canadia even if it were close. This is what we've got, and considering what I've had in Hong Kong, Tim Kee's sandwiches are the best.

Of course, I'm from an area of the US where there ain't no Vietnamese baguettes, and I've never been to Vietnam, and in fact I've only had the sandwiches here. So for me, there's definitely no disappointment. My expectations coming in are shaped largely by places like Nha Trang, which wouldn't know what a sandwich was if it sold them off its menu. Which it doesn't and does, respectively.

And here's a closer look. I liked the baguette, I loved how crispy it was and the fact that I was covered in baguette sprinklings by the time I finished. There's Vietnamese sausage in there and pate and apparently pork knuckle and something else. I didn't find the meat dry as a number of others did, but rather quite fatty and warm. At some point I ran across an inedible thing of some sort, but on the whole I enjoyed it. The carrots were limpid and there was no daikon radish. I've taken to making these at home and mine are slathered in Sriracha. Don't know if that's authentic, but let me suggest it, in the unlikely event the owners/ operators of Tim Kee are reading my blather.

I don't know if you've noticed this but a decent sandwich of any sort is nigh-impossible to find in Hong Kong. I regularly eat at Subway, which is not something I'd wilfully do if I had better options. The stuff at Tim Kee isn't mind-blowing, but if you've tried any of its competitors (you know, the ones that aren't in Australia), you'd see that this was the best in town. In context, I'll take it.

I have been in search for the best pho and bahn mi in hong kong since i moved here 2 months ago. Now i know the local resturants have to cater to the local pallet i get that. I ordered a bhan me sub only one flavour here, the bread was good was good the pickled carrets and cucumber had no taste this sub was very bland no tatse of liver patay very dry sub i give this sub a 4 out of 10. I have pretty high standards coming from vancouver canada. But i have also had bahn mi all over the world i hope
