I only saw a menu that listed the prices for a small sandwich for $31 and a large one for $60. It seems that there aren't any flavors to choose from except for one standard flavor. I requested for the sandwich to be split in half and it was handed to us in a small little paper bag which was perfect for eating the sandwich on the go. The fillings were standard with carrots, ham, pork, cucumber, and peppers. While the bun was pretty crispy, the fillings were a bit chopped up for my liking. I thought the sandwich was decent but would be great if they had more flavors to choose from.

味道、層次兼備,後來發覺其實店鋪與西鐵柯士甸站挺近的,下次在車站下車,就算繞點路,我也要再買再吃。

之前提過影帝張家輝喺一套電影裡面提過能夠專心做好一件事就會成功, 添記就以用心製作嘅越南法式三文治賣到街知巷聞。 小店坐落於佐敦渡船角一條小街上,雖然位置偏僻但每次都見客人光顧不斷,除本地客外近年自由行嘅旅客都唔少。 其實店只賣獨孤一味三文治無任何選擇,客人只可選大或小size,點解仲吸引咁多客人幫趁呢? 原因就係店主製造認真同一直保持水準。店只有二人或有時一人,接order後就將各樣肉類包括扎肉、嚼肉和豬蹄肉(我肉眼睇到3款肉唔知仲有無其他)放入法包裡面,喺包表面噴水後就放入焗爐烘焗幾分鐘,出爐後加入醃製過帶少少酸味紅蘿蔔絲, 法包面鬆脆無比,我已好小心食但咬一口就成手成身都係麵包碎,可想而知有幾脆啦。 夾咗肉至烘能夠令肉從室溫加熱,出爐時微暖唔會過熱。 材料配搭出色食落有層次,味道調較得恰到好處,喜歡辣的話可要求加鮮辣椒。 雖然排長龍,但店主並無粗製濫做預先整定,而係接一個order做一份確保新鮮。 多謝店主對出品嘅堅持同對客人嘅尊重讓客人每次都可以品嚐美食法式三文治。

知道有呢間小店嘅存好耐,不過無機會去到佐敦渡船街嗰邊,今日終於有機會!其實我本身無食過呢種法式三文治,聽聞係法國統治越南嘅時候,越南人將法國麵包同越南扎肉crossover而發明這種食物,我諗响越南餐廳可以食到呢種食物,但我估唔會係法國菜餐館食到舖頭很細,得兩個位,外賣為主。可以話呢似士多都得,無咩裝修可言,但其實好食嘅,有無裝修你都會來食!時間係星期日下午,附近啲舖都無開,條街無人,但係呢度都有幾個客人响我之前落咗單等緊,由於得老闆一個人一腳踢,所以大家有心理準備要等一段時間,因為即叫即做。選擇咗普通份量,由於無食晏,所以覺得唔太飽。味道方面,各種材料都很夾,酸酸甜甜的蘿蔔絲,咸咸地嘅扎肉,熱辣辣脆到爆嘅法包,最後加灑上香辣嘅胡椒粉,幾種味道加埋一齊很美味。

八年前,我在美國一家越南人開的外賣店初嚐越南法包。還沒張口大咬法包,我已嗅到一陣激發食慾的新鮮香氣—麵包的軟熟、醃菜的酸甜爽脆……「好好味呀!」自此,越南法包便列入「我的最愛」。剛過去的暑假,我再到美國,尋找良久沒見的越南法包,沒想到八年過去了,法包味道依舊好吃,甚至可謂愈來愈惹味!這次,難得到附近來,便聽朋友推介,到此店尋回四個月前品嚐過的美味。從鐵路站起程,走了大約十五分鐘,終於到了。思毫不用考慮,我便馬上點菜,然後靜待老闆炮製我的午餐。待了五分鐘多,終於可以一嚐小法包,卻令我失望了。沒錯,法包的確外脆內軟—包面甚有一鼓麥香,包芯軟熟不至乾身。麵包的餡料下得滿滿,可惜,味道實在讓我大感失望。別說越南的酸汁味道,蘿蔔絲等醃菜直時毫無味道可言,而且口感不見爽脆。難道這樣的目的是要讓人更留意脆口的包面嗎?不只醃菜,裡面的豬手肉帶有鼓豬臊味,扎肉本來的香甜都給它完全蓋過了。再者,豬肉的脂肪過多,加上給放涼後口感變得像在吃膠條,令人不感舒服。看來,若要尋找美味的法包,真的只有到美國去。

約10分數, 拿著法包走到街角望著, 真的材料札肉, 豬手, 腩肉, 青瓜, 蕃茄, 酸籮白絲塞得滿滿.

我太急性子了, 以為可以一口吃到材料加麵包, 但最終給硬硬的法包弄傷上唇. 而味道真的不錯, 

好醒胃, 但在街食的時侯就真的比較尷尬同飛出好多麵包碎!

越南食品一向給人印象是檬粉/春卷/豬排/粉卷。當中有一樣很喜歡的,但比較少見,是法式三文治。越南曾為法國的殖民地,街頭到處也是法式設計的建築,很有異國風味。法國人留下最大影響的相信是在街頭滿街都能見到的法式三文治店。香港大概只有添記才有正宗的好吃的。專賣法式三文治,開於佐敦渡船角的「八文樓」,鋪前大大的騎樓,幾部扭蛋機加上一個紅白藍色的座地燈箱,令人彷彿回到八九十年代香港。店鋪小小,但食品嬴來口碑,簡單的菜單:大小法包及蒜蓉包 (還有些少麵食)。法式三文治 (大法包)此包重點是四款肉料,每款也有其獨特的香味。咸豬手肉,爽而帶鹹香;五香腩肉,四種之中最嫩;法式嚼肉,豬肝與豬肉拌起的甘香;札肉,此「越南香腸」有咬口。加上蘿蔔絲青瓜絲,酸酸的魚露,些少胡椒粉,有誰不想吃?蒜蓉包很可口,但與法包不能相提其論呢……開立三十年,三次易手都未能動搖其製作三文治的堅持,93年接手至今的現任老闆更保留老店的人情味。一邊跟你傾談今天要聞一邊搞掂order,再細說焗個好的French Baguette要點在於焗前要灑水。整個包焗起即食夠香脆,內裏涵夠多樣化口感有層次,油脂感與酸甜削露中和。爽!添記雖然出名,

此包重點是四款肉料,每款也有其獨特的香味。咸豬手肉,爽而帶鹹香;五香腩肉,四種之中最嫩;法式嚼肉,豬肝與豬肉拌起的甘香;札肉,此「越南香腸」有咬口。加上蘿蔔絲青瓜絲,酸酸的魚露,些少胡椒粉,有誰不想吃?
蒜蓉包很可口,但與法包不能相提其論呢……

整個包焗起即食夠香脆,內裏涵夠多樣化口感有層次,油脂感與酸甜削露中和。爽!添記雖然出名,但這種專賣一種食品的小店賣少見少,快啲去試下啦。
Other Info. : 包身乾脆少少界口,最好幫襯買嘢飲。我很久前去食,現在加價了。

今日有機會黎到佐敦,諗住搵下有咩好食啦。我就咁岩誋起之前街坊廚神介紹過既添記法式三文治,我一直都想試,但冇機會。當我到左之後,可能星期五既關係冇咩人,入到去得我一個。咁我就要左一個小法包($27)。個小法包到手之後仲熱咖!我係第一次食法式三文治。我覺得個小法包都幾好味,用料都幾多,而且外脆內軟。加上,個包既SIZE一D都唔細,都幾大份。另外,個包唔係啖啖肉,有D蕃茄、紅蘿蔔絲、青瓜做襯托,冇咁膩。但整體黎講有D乾。(可能因為個包焗過)如果下次再黎我會再食!

我覺得個小法包都幾好味,用料都幾多,而且外脆內軟。
加上,個包既SIZE一D都唔細,都幾大份。
另外,個包唔係啖啖肉,有D蕃茄、紅蘿蔔絲、青瓜做襯托,冇咁膩。
但整體黎講有D乾。(可能因為個包焗過)

如果下次再黎我會再食!

麵包的世界是大得令人驚訝的,它們的流派多不勝數,其中所演化出的「蒜蓉包」體系已經不知要說多久了。
所以我只能簡單直接地說,這家小店的蒜蓉包:香,脆,軟,味,熱全都超出合格水平,無論以食物水平或是蒜蓉包水平評價,它都是出色之作。

行完街覺得肚餓,就行去食小儀介紹既呢間法式三文治。入到去,就好似落樓下買野食咁既感覺。我就叫左個小法包,女店員好NICE。等左10分鐘,終於搞掂了,老板問我洗吾洗CUT做兩個,我答左要。之後熱騰騰的小法包就系我手上。入面D料真系好多,由於口太細,我只能一半一半咁食,無法成個咬。包外脆內軟,食完真系好幸福。

Tim Kee is famous for its BÁNH MÌ , Vietnamese baguette with French pâté , 5-spiced pork belly, salty pork knuckle and vietnamese sausage. There are mainly three types of food for you to choose from
1) Large baguette
2) Small Baguette
3) Garlic Bread
People usually come here for these 3 choices but not those drinks or noodles ( this makes perfect sense).

THIS WAS SO GOOD !
The baguette was made to order, which can ensure that it is heavenly crispy when you get it ( of course you have to wait for such good food but it is definitely worth waiting! )
I love the play of textures, the bread was scrumptiously crusty but meanwhile it had a soft interior with different kinds of filling, WELL PLAY OF TEXTURES INDEED!

The filling of the baguette was rich and flavorful, the pickled carrots and tomatoes were a highlight!
They magically made the whole thing less filling and heavy!
I felt like a small one wasn't enough for me D :

VIETNAMESE SPRING ROLLS $12 FOR 3
The baguette was SOOOOO GOOD that i didn't even wanna try the spring rolls hahaha
They were really mediocre and i prefer freshly deep fried spring rolls : P
I guess you have to stick with the baguette whenever you come here!

Baguette was amazing, i have to admit that it is famous for a reason !
