放工時間經過美孚西鐵站,諗住簡簡單單解決晚餐,就嚟咗呢間《唐包點》買外賣。點咗一個秘制豬軟骨飯及一個香菇雞包。豬軟骨飯 - 飯同餸係分開兩個膠盒裝。豬軟骨有好多餸汁,豬軟骨炆得十分腍,肉嘅地方幾乎入口即化,而軟骨仲輕微帶少少咬口。調味鹹淡得宜又帶有少少醋味,所以豬軟骨食落唔覺油膩。白飯本身有少少硬身,不過撈咗個餸汁之後,軟硬度又變到好適中。香菇雞包 - 外皮帶少少煙韌,入面都有幾多餡,仲加咗少少爽口嘅蔬菜,味道唔錯。呢餐兩樣加埋只係$30幾,咁平本身冇對味道有期望,不過估唔到又幾好食。

糯米雞的學問很深奧,製法是以荷葉包著糯米,要蒸得稔稠糯滑,「入味」,很考功力,比烚糉困難得多。糯米雞是源自廣東的一種點心。中央放雞肉、等餡料。餡料組合很重要,應有豬肉,鹹蛋黃、冬菇,海味四元素。先說雞肉,宜用雞上髀或雞中翼。此店用大雞翼,算是不俗。豬肉元素可選臘腸(冬天)或叉燒(夏天),此店用豬肉粒,扣分。此店鹹蛋黃、冬菇兩者俱備,惜似欠蝦乾或瑤柱碎。秋天是栗子上市的季節,用栗子代替鹹蛋黃,很好吃呢!夏天則宜放入蓮子,小帶子。稔滑,「入味」的好糯米雞。
